Film Alley Weatherford

I previously left one star due to poor audio quality paired with very LOUD volume. I believe their soud quality has improved, and I hope they state somewhere if so. I'm leaving only 4 stars and not 5 because I haven't left that place yet not being broke. Pricey

Wow!! This place has some problems. Settle in this is going to be a long one. Went here to bowl and have some food and a few beers for daughter's birthday. When paying for the lanes, swiped the card and after a few the person at the register said the transaction failed. Swiped the card again and the person behind the counter said transaction failed again. Looked at the card reader and it said "approved". Employee says let me go get a manager. In mean time another employee comes over and says reason failed is because it turned 6:00 and it wasn't charging us "prime time rate" which is more so was told it would be $106 and not $88 so try the card again. I said no we won't have charges have been going through it would be close to $300 out if my account but was told not to worry if over charged they could over charge back to us in 3-5 days. WTF! Manage finally makes their way out and in mean time wife looked at bank acct and sure enough 2 pending charges for $88. Manager said if one doesn't drop off on Monday to come back and they would refund. That is fine but we live 1 1/2 hrs away. So then said we could screen shot the transactions and text to them and then give them card info over the phone. Which I'm thinking how big of a Cluster F that could turn into. Should have left but had grandkids going crazy to bowl. They did comp. Is 2 beers which was ok. Then ordered some food. Brought one plate of food pretty quick. But not the others which didn't show up for another 15 mins except for my wife's food which showed up 2 hours after placed order. She ordered loaded chili cheese fries and 2 hours later they brought out lukewarm fries with melted cheese and bacon. Waitress shows back up and asked if wanted pork, steak or chicken Sent back for chicken on them. Come back out with chicken but no chili. Wife asked about chili and was told "well that's an upcharge". Ok that's what I ordered. Get a hee hee I'm sorry. You know the typical I don't really give a shit I'm sorry you get from kids. Wife was hungry so just said forget it. They're was also no jalapeños that were ordered on the fries somewhere in the fiasco that I just remembered. This place also charges by the hour and will cut you off when the hour is reached even if in 10th frame which is what happened to us. All other places I have been to that charge by the hour will let you finish the game if past the 6-7 frame. Was just not a good experience at all. Like I said they did comp us 2 beers out of 5 adults and 5 kids. Would have thought they could do better than that for the shit show we endured. And now I am sure will have to go though another shit show Monday when the extra charges hit and have to call them up and wait 3-5 days to get our money back. Maybe should think about it as a 0 interest savings account that can't touch for a week and spend on things like bills, food, gas etc. Sorry this is so long but I warned you up front.

I really don't know how the movie theater stays in business. It gets worse every time we go here. The floors are sticky, seats are broken, nobody watching kids sneaking into movies causing a disturbance and the staff run by older kids or very young adults not interested in providing good customer service. This place deserves a negative 3 stars for cleanliness/seats, a zero for customer service and 1 star for the food.

We returned for an early Friday morning bowling again and once again was super impressed. Every single employee was nice and attentive. The bowling alley was clean and had a large selections of "games" to play. The food is really good considering it's a bowling alley, arcade, and movie theater. It's our favorite bowling alley around and great prices too!

Shout out to Morgan for helping us celebrate Taylor's birthday! She made it perfect! Great time had by all!

Their food is good, the bowling alley there isn't super expensive. Some of the staff is strict about who can get in to the movies though. Me 16 and my friend 18 went to go see Heart Eyes yesterday and the lady asked to check our IDs, after looking at it she said we couldn't get in because it was 17 and up or we needed a 21 year olds consent. We were gonna try and go again with the my dad so he could approve the movie but they say in their policy the guardian needs to sit completely through the movie with the child. Me and this exact friend went to see Blink Twice last year which was also a rated R movie and they didn't check the idea or ask if we had a guardian they just checked the tickets and let us in, I have had parental consent to both. I would recommend changing y'all's policy to 15 and up, the world isn't the same anymore and your so called "child's" policy only makes sense for people under 14. Their policy also stated if your a child under 17 who purchased tickets to an R rated movie online you wont be given a refund. I wouldn't recommend going and seeing a movie here.

Finally, they got new seats, their old seats were pretty worn out. The last time we came the servers didn't really want to help out my parents with the ordering process because they didn't speak very good English. We finally got a server who was able to speak Spanish and helped my mom and dad out with the menu, I'm pretty sure her name was Carolina, she was a short girl. I think the manager who helped me out with my tickets was named Tyler, he was also very nice, and helpful.

Did a couple of things here. Arcade and bowling. Both were a bust. Several game machines take money from card but they were broken. Not cool. I probably lost over $10 before I caught it. Same with the bowling lanes. Not many people there and the one lane we got was messy with water and popcorn on everything. Not to mention that the girls up front discussed the possibility of lane 6 being broken. Which lane do you think they gave me. Yup, lane 6. What do you think I had to deal with while playing, yup a broken lane. So my time ticking while I'm trying to deal with this. No comp or anything. I'd say it's a decent looking place but the employees are indifferent and the equipment is not worth me trying that again. I'll just hunt for a better place and drive if I need to.I really wanted to like this place, they had Golden Tee, which I love.

1. Movie time was 6:55 at 6:45 they still wouldn't let us in to see the movie 2. Girl came up took our order, random server brings pop corn and a coke not our order, another random server shows up with 5 drinks (there were 5 of us) he puts all 5 drinks on my tray. I asked what the drinks were and he looks at me and runs off. I handed out drinks mine came out as a diet something I ordered a coke oh well I could manage. The pizza we wanted they were "out of" so we had to settle for the worst pizza I have ever had (I have eaten Pizza in Iraq) 3. Movie starts all is going well and the new reclining chair broke halfway through the recline, not to long after that my daughter's chair broke mid recline. Good movie sound was good picture was good, food sucked, service was eh.
