We went here to eat oh boy was it a treat friends stated would you like to meet us this is our favorite restaurant to eat well we haven't been there and we hadn't eaten so we said sure I checked the menu prior to meeting our friends as I wanted to see just what this restaurant actually served I thought hmm the menu looked really good so we went it was an opportunity for us to get out for me to not cook lol and an opportunity for me to be able to do an amazing Yelp review which I love to do I arrived at the restaurant I opened the door the smell of the aroma of food oh my it was amazing I said oh yeah when I looked around it was very clean which I was greeted at the door with a smile and the gentleman said welcome very pleasant wanted to know how many was eating in our party he seating us stated the waitress would be right over within seconds she was on her job she was ready to take our drink order very good service she smiled wanted to know if we wanted an appetizer she left came back with our ice teas we ordered very good service she kept checking on us I have to give this restaurant the have it together it was long our food was there at the table oh my goodness very good I was very happy with the food the service would I recommend them absolutely I would to everyone I didn't take pictures of the other 2 as they are the same enchiladas as the one so it was 3 plates of enchiladas so need to add it 3 times everyone enjoyed their dinner I will be back I want to La Familia Restaurant very good job y'all

First things first- the chips are AWESOME. Thick and crunchy, warm with a little bit of chili seasoning. The queso has a decent flavor. Can't quite put my finger on what the spice is, but it's tasty. Nothing worth writing home about, but still good.Fajitas for two, steak. Serving size feels small (but then we're spoiled with our normal hole-in-the-wall). Refried beans have good flavor and the grilled onions are delicious. The corn tortillas are thick and have a strong corn flavor- with all the fajita fixings, it's a grate combo. I keep coming back to the chips. Those are worth it. No pics this time: we were too hungry from a day on the boat over at Possum Kingdom Lake to wait!

We were traveling and stopped here for dinner. Excellent food! I got the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. It was delicious with lots of complex flavor. The beans, rice and salsa and chips were also wonderful. The staff was pleasant and attentive and the decor was cute.

Great Mexican food and excellent service!!!! The portions are huge and very reasonably priced!! If you're passing through Breckenridge definitely check it out!!!

This is a frequent visit for us, all the food prepared is masterfully dinner and very tasteful. Service is also great with knowledgeable staff and helpful hints as to what you're ordering. Overall a very good place to eat and I will continue to eat here.

Great place to get some good Tex mex. Chips and salsa were great and the food was excellent. Service was good too. We enjoyed the superior Mexican dinner.

We were traveling to Ft Worth and stopped for lunch. We had meat enchiladas and tacos. Awesome authentic Mexican food, hot sauce had a kick of spice and chips were crispy. The service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!!

We drove to Breckinridge on a Monday, wanting to explore the town.Disappointed to see many restaurants closed after 2PM.Serendipity and Yelp landed us here.Restaurant is big and roomy. Two large dining rooms with hostess desk in the middle.First thing I noticed was how clean and orderly the place is. You know, some places just can't stop decorating and look cluttered. This place is bright and has real charm.PLEASE SEE THE PHOTOS I'VE INCLUDEDWait staff cordial and attentive without hovering. Warm chips brought to the table with a light dusting of paprika. Nice. Salsa warm and flavorful.I ordered a beef dinner and husband ordered Super Mexican Dinner.The view in the parking lot was a breathtaking surprise.I can't remember what mine was called. The food and the way it was seasoned was soooooo delicious. I tasted his guacamole and it was outta this world fresh and tasty. Husband remarked it was the best tastingTex-Mex he's ever had. He's 70 and 100% all Texan.The rice was lovely. The food tasted like home cooking. The kind I've never mastered.Ladies room was immaculate. Prices are super reasonable.

I have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but after tonight, will not be returning. The wait was long, the service terrible, and the food inedible. Worst of all, management was completely disinterested.
