Events at Moha Ranch

not very professional at all. you hire a company to keep the property maintained and you do not think you have pay them. not cool at all for any business. i suggest folks do not use your facility for any venue.

Please, please, PLEASE do not get scammed like we did! The owner of Events at Moha Ranch in Caddo Mills, Tx is dishonest and scams people out of money. After some research, we have learned that the owner of this business has owned several other businesses, in which she and her husband provided poor service, kept people's money that they promised to refund, were involved in multiple law suits, and have had 2 or more businesses involuntarily dissolved. As for Moha Ranch, we booked our daughter's quinceanera through them a year in advance. As soon as we paid the first payment of $1,500 (which we had to work very hard and save for months for) she started throwing new fees at us that were not agreed upon in the quote we had been given. Immediately (one day to be exact) after making the depsosit and first payment, I cancelled the event with her and requested a refund. It was very difficult to get in touch with her, but eventually she did promise a "partial refund", which was also not part of the agreement. There was never a signed contract, just a price sheet, which it appeared she had altered the refund policy on, making it hard to read. However, we NEVER RECEIVED ANY MONEY BACK. It has now been a month since requesting a refund through text, email, phone call, and cashapp (the method we paid). She is now avoiding us completely. We have tried repeatedly to get in touch with her and she dodges our calls and texts. It is heartbreaking that she took this money not only from us, but from our daughter. I truly hope that no one else has to experience this.

Beautiful venue land well maintained and Dennise did an exceptional job helping us plan/set up our event here. The gazebo was a huge plus in the middle of the pond and great spots to take pictures we are looking forward to booking more events here in the future!

Amazing experience. Not only was the place beautiful but it was filled with fun things to do. The gazebo was so nice and made the night much more fun! Whoever manages this place deserves a raise! Will definitely consider coming here again!

My friends birthday party was hosted here. It was great! Main venue area was clean and spacious , and the gazebo area and the pond were beautiful . The bathrooms adjacent to the venue were also very clean. Dennise , the event coordinator, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed!

Sherrie has made excuse after excuse about refunding overcharges for my daughter's wedding reception back in September 2023. The night of the reception there was a gentleman who either lives on or next to the property carrying a firearm, was drunk, and yelling at guests for parking too close to his large RV. Spoke with Sherrie again today and was asked to meet her there at 6 to pick up the refund. Guess what...she never showed up and blocked my number. Very unprofessional.

Makes excuses to keep deposits and then can't pay the lawn service they ran around for months. Always excuses... shame...
