Ok let me start with this, when the Family opened here we were impressed we had been going to Prairie House prior to the opening of this place loved it since day one.Tonight I fell in Love again, let me explain Banditos are always our goto started they are amazing!But tonight I tried their Prime Rib..Let's just put it this way they have been holding a deep dark secret!I have paid triple what I paid tonight at well known establishments around the DFW, never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect such an amazing, delicious, perfectly prepared and extremely tasteful Prime Rib for the small amount I Paid!This WAYGU Beef Prime rib was kissed by the Gods of Meat!Perfect temp, absolutely stunning flavor, a great hint of smoke, not too strong just enough to let you know it was a Texas Prime Rib! Tender, moist and mouthwatering.The Team at Elm Fork knocked this one completely out of the Park!

We had been meaning to go for a while and finally made it in recently. It wasn't too busy on a weekend evening. It felt like an elevated Prairie House, they have similar menus and decor. Our waitress was super nice. We ordered a ribeye and a filet with street corn, Mac and cheese and seasoned rice. First, the Mac andCheese is pretty good. The street corn wasn't street corn, it was corn with Tajin and Oaxaca cheese. The seasoned rice was bland. The ribeye, though undercooked, was seasoned well but a mediocre cut of meat. It was supposed to be American Wagyu. It had a lot of gristle and wasn't as tender as other American Wagyu. I don't know how the filet was as it was served medium though I ordered medium rare. The replacement steak was blue - ice cold in the center. I ended up picking pulled pork instead - they basically told me to. I didn't think medium rare was difficult but here we are. The sauce for the pulled pork was a little Smokey for my taste, an artificial smoke flavor. The replacement steak took 25 minutes and my husband had already finished by the time I got my pulled pork. They did replace my sides with warm ones and that was nice.It wasn't the best experience, they did try to remake the filet, and again, our waitress was nice. She wasn't the one dealing with the replacement. Being served an ice cold steak was kind of like getting the middle finger from the kitchen. They had to know that wasn't medium rare - it wasn't even rare. I could tell as soon as I put my fork in it to cut it open.I don't know that we would go back anytime soon.

Came here for lunch. Nick was our server. Ver7 friendly, nice, and attentive. We ordered the BBQ combo of Brisket and sausage, potato salad and beans. Also ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich with fries. Great tasting food! Need to come and try more items on the menu.

Definitely one of my favorite spots when I'm in the area my good friend Steve always came here and that's how I found the place came back again this year for a company party but the food and service is always really good. Just a hometown good place to come get some barbecue and enjoy yourself

A friend recommended this place, and it was absolutely perfect. He raved about the food and boy was he correct! They have so many wine, spirits and beers on tap for you to choose from.I went with the jalapeño cheddar sausage, which comes with two sides. I chose the white cheddar mac & cheese, and the coleslaw. When I tell you every single item was delicious I truly mean it. The sausage was so cheesy and flavorful. The mac & cheese was so creamy, and the coleslaw was great as well. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and we sat right away. It wasn't busy. However, there is a ton of seating. The staff was super friendly and we felt welcome the entire time. Large parking lot as well.

While we were staying with my wife's dad, he took us out to dinner at Elm Fork Taphouse and Kitchen as he thought we might enjoy their beer selection and the food. Boy, was he right! We started with a couple of beers, Vodoo Ranger Juicy IPA's and Downunderstruck IPA's as we perused the menu. I needed a burger and went with the Rattler; 1 4 oz patty, chopped brisket, pepperjack cheese, bottlecaps, pickles and BBQ sauce. This was one delicious, juicy burger and couldn't be happier with my choice. The fries were crisp and hot as well. My father-in-law wanted the Wild Hog; slow smoked pulled pork piled high on a jalapeno cheddar bun, topped with jalapeno cabbage slaw, fried onion strings, house bbq sauce and pickles. My wife chose the Smoked Brisket Tacos; three corn tortillas, grilled onions and jalapeno cream sauce. My wife said that they were full of flavor and really enjoyed them. Overall, pretty good service, great food and beer selection and a nice atmosphere. Next time we visit my father-in law I look forward to stopping back into Elm Fork to try some other things on the menu.

I like this restaurant and would love for one to be in my hometown. The chicken fried steak is a great deal - on Sundays it is $10...with mashed potatoes and green beans. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are great.

The menu is extensive and will give you a lot to choose from.Service: 5/5 This is where they shine with great service even with larger parties. We've held several birthday parties and graduation events here and the staff is always friendly, fast, and accommodating!Environment: 5/5 Plenty of parking, great bar vibes, and also very clean.

Food is always delish and the drinks are always strong! Fried Pickles, Catfish, and BBQ Sausage never disappoints and don't forgot your frozen Jack!

Food was excellent, service is great and ambiance was really nice. Nice for date night or dinner with the family.
