Small restaurant connected to a Shell gas station. Complimentary chips, salsa, and black beans. Food was good and affordable. Service was quick and attentive. Usually not a place I would've stopped at, but it was good and the kids really enjoyed it.

We found this place on Yelp, and I wasn't even looking for Tex-Mex. However, almost every review of this hidden gem was 5 stars! Out in the middle of nowhere, an old Grandy's where we used to stop for the restroom on our trips into FW. When we pulled up, the windows to the back of the gas station was cracked. So, this place was completely sketch by all stretches of the imagination in my book. Man, was I wrong!Once we braved to go inside, the nicest lady named Abby greeted us and took excellent care of us! We were seated, given the menus. Warm chips with salsa and the yummiest black bean dip was brought out! When I requested if they had a spicy salsa, Abby smiled widely, and scurried off! It was delicious... not an up front heat, but a grilled onion forward salsa, with the nicest warming notes on the back end... on a cold day (38 degrees) it was a pleasant surprise! Off came the jacket! We added queso the chips, which was nice, but nothing to write home about. The the entree's. The wife had La Gran Adela, which was two deep fried flautas, with chicken, cheese, jalapeno and bacon bits. The filling had been "pulsed" but not "puree'd", so everything came together in sort of a pate'... the filling was out of this world, and you got a taste of everything you were after in every bite. The wife admitted, she was taken back because she was expecting dry stringy chicken, but that's not what she got.I had the La Gloria, three chicken enchiladas with mole, verde (tomatillo), and sour cream sauces. I'm not the world's biggest fan of mole', because throwing chocolate chips into bean dip does not make mole' in my opinion. I would not have ordered it on it's own, but I'm glad I did. There was a smoky barbeque hint to hit, but at least it wasn't melted chocolate chips.... I really enjoyed it a LOT!If I would have read the reviews, I might've tried to the Abby's shrimp (since Abby WAS our waitress!!), and I WILL be back for the ultimate test: the fajitas! So far, so good... 5 STARSSimple food, prepared great, with happy staff... It's a winning combination!

Moving in to the area and was super excited to try this little hidden gem and of course I turned to Yelp.Let me start by saying the Salsa is sooooo good. Fresh and delicious. My sister said it tasted just like mine. The chips were perfect and the bean dip served with the chips and salsa was tasty. We agree with the other reviews about the queso. It's good but is missing something. We ordered the enchiladas and they were served quick and we really enjoyed them. The service is amazing. Highly recommend.

The chips and salsa are average but the bean dip is excellent. Queso tasted a lot more like butter than cheese but was still good. Quesadillas were good, tiny, tiny amount of sour cream and guacamole served with it. Beef nachos were also, beef was flavorful. Chili relleno was average, was hoping for better but didn't have much chicken. Rice and beans were very good, tasted fresh. Enchiladas were also very good. Small restaurant attached to a gas station, not a ton of seating but never had anyone waiting as they serve fairly quick. Service was good, enjoyed our time there.

This is a lovely neighborhood place! The decor is fitting for our country living style. The food is some of the best in the area. No, it isn't five star food, but it is delightful and easily accessible. The service is nice. It isn't white linen napkin service, but it doesn't pretend to be either. We have found a new local favorite!

Fabulous food and service in this quaint little restaurant connected to a gas station- get the el jefe pariliada - it's a feast for 1 or 2 that comes over a fire to keep warm - carnitas, beef and chicken fajitas and shrimp! Fabulous!

It's a small restaurant attached to a gas station so it couldn't be good.... right? Wrong. It's good TexMex and the service is great.

100% favorite place. I order something new every time and it never disappoints. Seriously. Margaritas are also delicious. They give you chips with black bean dip and salsa when you sit down and my daughter LOVES the bean dip. It is delicious but I can only get one bite before she smashes them down lol. Honestly pricing is very affordable for the amount of good food, great service, adorable environment, and everything in a timely manner. I have seen it get PACKED during rush but I typically come when it's slow so that my daughter doesn't get overwhelmed and we can enjoy a peaceful lunch. My baby loves the staff that always greet her very warmly, she loves the attention they give her and I love seeing her smile every time they interact. I always tip as much as I can with any cash I have on me as it's the least I can do in return considering the pure joy I get to see on my daughter every time we visit is priceless. Also the margaritas are delicious

This place has good street tacos but they are just too unreliable. Asked them if they were open for breakfast and they replied yes. Drove from Keller. Walked in and nobody came to the front. Called 3 times and nobody answered the phone. I drove from Keller. I always get 10-20 street tacos. Brisket on flour and they charge me 50 cents per taco for the flour. Thats $5 to $10 dollars. Ask them once how much for a dozen flour tortillas and they said $3. Ok. I love their green sauce always ask for extra in addition to what the tacos come with. I ask for a 6 or 8 Oz container and I'm happy to pay for it. They then short me the small containers that the tacos come with. I have even said please give me what it comes with in addition to what I pay extra for. Never. I always have to check my bag because something is missing. Lately hardly any brisket on them. Someone asked me if I was eating an onion Taco because there was so many onions and little brisket. These are street tacos so they are small. I have had $50 to $60 orders and you'd think that would be a nice order but I still get shorted and they actually seem annoyed that I am there. Sorry to say but I won't be back.
