I was in the area and saw a new taco place (used to be a fried chicken place) and decided to try it. It was really more like 3-stars, but added one simply going it's because they haven't been there long and the lady working there was very polite and sweet.I got 4 tacos (barbacoa, pollo, asada, and pastor) for a variety. The meat tasted fine, but the real complaint is portion size for the hot sauce and the tortilla itself. The hot sauce was ok, but not exceptional. The red is the spicy one and the green is more mild. The green is super thick for some reason and tbh couldn't really taste it while on my taco and each of the containers only had about how much hot sauce would normally put on each taco, but for 4 tacos, I got 2 hot sauce (luckily asked for an extra red because I prefer spicy, so had a third container)Also the tortilla, had a complaint. Based on the texture and flavor they taste like homemade, though mine tasted like made yesterday. It still had a good flavor BUT, the tortilla was falling apart on me making it really difficult to eat, especially the barbacoa one.I might come back and might not, just depends on if in the area, but nothing really exceptional imo.... And looking at the menu, saw the Texas burrito. It listed mayo as an ingredient which to me sounds very odd for a burrito, but that's another thing

Authentic Mexican food. Enchiladas are delicious and the mole is very good. Try the homemade chips with guacamole. Service is excellent! If you want to eat real Mexican food from Chihuahua, come to El Pariente de Chihuahua.

This place is a very traditional Mexican style, not your Tex-Mex go to, but still very good. The authentic dishes were prepared well. The service was excellent. The dining room is a little cold and sterile, but adequate for our needs. On that particular occasion, they were out of Agua de Jamaica and I had to drink agua de Horchata instead. Looking forward to go back going back and trying the Jamaica.

I came in to try this spot- I had to compare it to how my tias could cook. They were pretty close. Great authentic mexican food. They fried my chips after I ordered so they were warm and fresh. With bomb salsa. You gotta stop by this spot and try it.

Went in for Breakfast and was not impressed on the food. For $13ish the quantity looked like children plate. And it had no eggs on my chilaquiles . The service was good. But won't go back .

The people are so friendly, and place is clean; however, the food is not very good. I got the carne asada. It came out cold, very thin, and dry as a bone. Thank God I got the charro beans instead of the refried beans because at least those didn't come out of a can. My companion got the mulitas. The portion size was good on his, but nothing was seasoned. I'm not sure if the lack of seasoning is indicative of the region the food hails from, but if you order either of these 2 menu items, be prepared to rely on the salsas for any flavor you get. It's a shame because we were looking so forward to dining there. On a good note, the guacamole was made fresh for the table, and it was delicious, so I am giving 2 stars.

The atmosphere of this place is peaceful and nice! It feels like an authentic Mexican restaurant that feels like it's from Mexico. Service is also really well their friendly, nice, and really good at taking your order and seeing how you like your food. The food is also really tasty as well. There's many options that you can get and different types of meats that can go with those orders that you like. I would recommend this place if you want to try Authentic Mexican food or even have Authentic Mexican when your craving it.

Hidden gem in North Richland Hills, they're tripa, barbacoa, alpastro tacos are delicious! Gorditas are crispy, menudo was cut soooo small and perfect (if you know you know) ! They didn't have jamica when I came but the lemonade was very subtly sweet! Rice and beans were good as well. The green salsa is chefs kiss, red one is spicy! Definitely will come back !
