Came here around a Saturday afternoon, and to my surprise there weren't a lot of people. The parking lot was full when we arrived, but it is rather small so expect to park on the side of the street if you arrive after noon. The hike itself was moderate, not much to see except for the lake. Majority of the time we were either alone or were passing others by. The weather was beautiful and it felt great to be outdoors in nature after such a long while of being cooped up in the house. We got "lost" trying to make our way back to the parking lot, but it was still a good hike lol.

Eagle Mountain Lake is a large Texas Lake with nice definition, a variety of marinas, waterfront properties, events, party coves, and mixed levels of traffic. It's a beautiful place to catch a sunset on the water and has lots of room for water sports as long as you can avoid other boaters at busy times. The Lake has its own community, some of which include urgent and former Fort Worth mainstays like Amon Carter and Bill McDavid. We enjoyed an afternoon and evening with friends on their 24 foot boat. Texas Lake culture. It's a thing.

Nice size lake, good for jet skiing, boating and tubing! Not really fishing. There's a small section closed off for swimming. Just a nice recreation place to go for the family.

This place is great for swimming and having a chill time. The beach area is huge and great for kids!! The have awnings to rent and there's grills at every one. Tons of trash cans everywhere. It does cost per car to get in and it must be done ahead of time. Make sure to make reservations!!
