Solid spot to catch a game, even on a rainy Sunday. Wandered in during Cowboys-Pats and found a lively crowd despite the weather. Bartender kept the beers coming without hovering. Clearly doubles as a TCU party bar at night, but makes for a decent low-key sports bar during the day. Cheap Coors Banquet hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but does the job.

Came here for a drink on date night. Place wasn't too busy and we were greeted once we took our seat at the bar. They have plenty of beers and hard seltzers but don't ask for any specialty cocktails as they likely don't have the means to make them. So that's a bummer for someone like me who doesn't drink beer nor do I like the seltzers. Ambiance was laid back and dark like I'd expect. Bathrooms were very clean which was nice. We'd come back if in the neighborhood.

I met up with an ex here, went bar hopping with him... came back here alone. He popped back up after I thought he left... Stephanie the bartender had my back.. asked her friend to come talk to me, made sure I was SAFE. This is a girls girl bar. I would recommend this bar to anyone. Especially women. Thank you Stephanie.

Came here after work, was told they served food and had taco trucks outside and they didn't. When we asked the guy had a real attitude. So we went across the street to Zalat then came back for drinks, he wanted to ID my friend, which is fine, she's grown. But the guy looked at her ID for a very long time, like stared at it. Some of are other friends came and we decided to go to better spots. Wouldn't recommend.

Durty Crow is the most "bar" bar on Crockett Street. I mean, you can still smoke inside... It's dimly lit and all the furniture and floors are dark. No speciality drinks; plenty of booze and beer with some local selections. The bartenders I've interacted with have been great -- welcoming and attentive and cool. There's a pool table and a few arcade games (like a hunting game and some kind of basketball toss game). It's really nice when the weather is fair and their garage-door-walls are open and the whole bar feels like a big patio. No food here, but on Friday and Saturday nights there tends to be a food truck right outside. Affordable drinks and a little stage. The kind of place that you don't necessarily plan on going to, but you're happy to end up there.

The DJ is an asshole, Seriously don't ask the DJ for anything. He will get extremely defensive and wave you off dismissively. Sorry I wanted a little less 80s since I wasn't born yet asshole, Guy was wearing his pajamas too, I asked him to play something up beat instead of:1. The hokey Pokey2. Electric Slide3. Girls just want to have funThe hell is this place, Nostalgia Nights?

So it can be a little tough when you genuinely like the bones of a joint, but something within seems a little lacking. I'm a big believer in potential, and I'll cop to the idea that having originally driven by the Crow and having been intrigued by the cut of its gib, I wanted to stop in and get to know the place a bit better. From there things became increasingly confusing. Among the conundrums: what's up with the intentional misspelling of Dirty? I mean, I get it in that this spelling sounds a little more scrubby than its pristine spelling, but A) aren't crows by their nature somewhat dirty already, and B) how much dirtier (or 'durtier') than your standard crow is this one? I don't necessarily require an empirical answer, but a little clarification would be okay. Or at least interesting. All that ridiculousness aside, here's the real skinny, best I can tell: this venue appears to be angling for a crowd somewhere between old and collegiate (or post) and young for professional. And that's totally fine. Not my thing maybe, but they don't put on airs about who they purport to be.I may not be back often, but I'm not averse to an occasional stop.

I feel so douchy in this place.. like I should have on Sperrys and a popped collar. But I kinda like it? I've been here when it was so crowded you could taste other peoples beers and on nights where it was just you and the bar back- but somehow the level of douchiness never decreases. I will admit I never stay here longer than 45 minutes or so- just one of those places that is good for a pit stop. Its basically once open space with a bar in the middle and one pool table. I will say that the barkeeps are prompt and the beer is cheap- so you can see why its crowded on a Saturday night.

Do not recommend. By far the most run-down bar in the area. Customer service is atrocious. Seriously, steer clear.

Went on the Mimosa crawl thought it would be fun to check out a bunch of different places. We had a great time everywhere we went except the Durty Crow. We initially thought it would be cool they had giant Jenga and pool tables. However the bartender Kelli/Kelly (she would not tell me which when I asked) said that our group of 7 were too loud for the other patrons. I counted them out there were 4 people. We were playing pool and cheering when someone would get their shot. Unless you are looking for a quiet bar to hang out at, I would suggest you try somewhere else. So we went to Kung Fu and finished out and had a great time!
