I stayed here last Tuesday night for work and enjoyed it. I was greeted by Mr. Lions, who was very friendly and helpful at the check in. They are conveniently located just off the highway too. They also had a restaurant here, which was pretty good. While several options looked tempting, I got the Philly cheesesteak which was solid. Overall, I had a favorable experience here and would stay here again.

This hotel is beautiful! The only thing is that to find your room you feel like your inside a maze, a little bit hard to try to figure out. The room was in great condition it looks like it was recently renovated which it was good. It even has a starbucks inside and the breakfast is served from 6:30am to 10:30am.

This is now second Hilton brands hotel we have stayed in with lackluster results. Property apparently was a Holiday Inn, and was purchased and renovated. While it did feel updated, it felt like it was a rushed job, and not really finished correctly. Exposed wiring on the a/c unit, poor paint work, and just not clean in general. Stayed two nights and the room was never touched by staff. Area of town is not good. Mostly industrial, but it's a somewhat rough area of Fort Worth. Pretty good drive to get to anything around I-30. Would not stay here again.

Absolutely avoid this place. The property is lovely but the staff and service is awful. And when I say awful I mean awful. I ordered a Caprese SALAD from room service and this what they delivered. Everything about our experience was bad. . Clearly no good management

Front desk attendant Kalen Lyons was professional, helpful and friendly. Great experience when I was in on July 28. Thank you for making me feel so welcome!

I am absolutely shocked this place has 4.5 stars right now. It definitely does not and did not live up to that rating. I am traveling for a leadership summit and decided to stay at this Hilton property. I am a Hilton honors member and exclusively stay at Hilton properties when I travel. I saw the great rating and decided to book it. My issues began a few hours before I checked in. I was on the road from Houston to Fort Worth and got a text from the hotel. They let me know that I would need to pay for parking. That it is $10 a night. I found that weird since the Hilton website says parking is complimentary and so does the app. I asked the employee when did this go into effect. They stated December 26, 2023. The issue is that I booked my room stating parking was complimentary and they knew this. They have not updated the website and marketing materials to mention this. Also they tell you after the cancellation period ends. That comes off as a bait and switch. Most people would say it is only $10. True. But $10 per car adds up fast when you have to pay it and not being told about it when booking. I arrived and went in to get the parking pass. The staff was lack luster at the front desk. I felt like I was bothering them just by being there. Next the lay out of the hotel. This place is huge. The walk from the front desk to the guest elevators is a good 2-5 minutes. It is like a maze. So be prepared to trek a good hike to get to the elevators. Next, there are only two elevators. The hotel only has 6 floors but during my trip every single high school cheer squad was staying here. So tons of kids, slow elevators, etc. means reduced experience. With that there was trash everywhere pizza boxes in the lobby, etc. The room actually was nice. They did a great job on the remodel. Some of the areas you can tell they did a quick fix on, but overall it was a nice room. A had a six floor two bedroom suite and enjoyed it. The real disappointing factor is the hotel restaurant. Smoke and Barrel I think it is called. I could not find a menu or anything online about the place. I went down for a quick dinner. The place wasn't busy at all. There was no one to greet me. I waited for a few minutes and simply sat down. I waited for 10 minutes. No one spoke to me or greeted me. The manager was running around talking to people he knew at the tables, but no server, no acknowledgment, nothing. So I left. I went and got dinner and returned that evening. Someone in a car idling in the no parking zone comes into the side door before me and can't get into the hotel because they do not have a guest key. I tell them I am not letting them in and they would need to go through the main entrance for access. He sat outside in his car trying to get in. Super suspicious. I thought breakfast would be better and not by much. I walked in and yet again empty. A squad of high school cheerleaders were taking over the buffet. Two guys at the bar area mumbled if I was eating here and told me it was only buffet and would be $22. I could barely hear him because he spoke so low. I said that was fine. They just stood there. I asked him if I just sit anywhere. They both just stared at me and said yeah. I waited for the cheerleaders to finish at the buffet and got food. They had waffle bar, fresh fruit, pastries, pancakes, potatoes, bacon, sausage, and eggs. Not bad. I sat down and about 5 mins later the guy comes and asks me for my drink order. I get a water and sprite. The sprite is just club soda because the syrup isn't working. I sat there about 25 minutes and he never returned. I walked up to the bar area because I needed my ticket. The other guy comes back about 5 mins later after me standing there. I tell him I need my ticket and he sends other guy over. Remember, this place is not busy. With me, another guest and the cheer squad we are at maybe 10 people total in the entire restaurant. The guy returns to the bar and I tell him I need my ticket. He also seems irritated and like he simply does not care. He gives me my ticket, I sign and leave. I am preparing to check out shortly and definitely will not be stay here ever again. Not worth it. You can stay at better properties in this price range in this city and get great service. This is absolutely subpar and the previous 4.5 rating is an absolute joke. No way at all. Avoid this place.

When I booked this room, Hilton's website read, to me, this was new place. It was new, but in name only, it was previously a Holiday Inn. But that was my impression. The lobby, dining area, bar area area very nice. Certainly this area was addressed in the switch over. However, I noticed as I stood in line to check in, they check in desk was under staffed. Only one person at 4:30pm and there was a line. Online check in worked, but they don't have digital keys so you still have to check in. Gentleman at desk was friendly and apologized over and over for the wait. Once in the room, I noticed it was hot, 78 on the wall thermostat. And the a/c was running but just cooling. Now it was 109f outside so there's that. After a while, it still had not cooled off so I had the room switched to another one. The clerk at the desk said that the rooms with king beds that were located at the end of halls suffered the most. If they now that, then why let people book them to only come and have to change rooms. I was fortunate that there was a room available. If not, I would have changed hotels. Breakfast, again understaffed. One taking orders and one delivering. As for the food, dinner the night before (smoked & fried wings) and breakfast were quite good. No complaints. The bar - went down the first evening for a drink and light dinner. I asked for a dark rum on the rocks double and the bar tender held up a bottle and I said ok. I recognized the bottle as I have it at home and it's a $50-55 bottle. I didn't ask how much the drink was - my mistake. When he brought my tab, that was a $52 double. I about passed out. That's a $20 drink tops anywhere. But my mistake, I didn't ask. So all in all, I was left not happy with my stay. I stay at Hilton hotels exclusively- they have a great rewards program - and DoubleTree is one of their nicer lines, this didn't hold up to that standard. A tip when you stay at this hotel or others with this option, if you have a family and want to eat breakfast, select the breakfast option pricing. For me, it was a $12. upgrade, and my breakfast was $20. And this is for everyone staying in the room. I will may stay here in the future with the hope that double tree fixes staffing issues and a/c issues.

Stayed here for work and would not stay here again. I arrived and parked near the lobby to quickly learn the rooms are a long hike away from the lobby. Luckily I did learn there is more parking in back by another door near the elevator. Many construction workers seem to also park here and when I got back at night many were standing by their trucks drinking. This property does not allow you to see a map when choosing your room on the app. The lobby is renovated, but the elevators and halls are not. The rooms are maybe partially renovated. The walls are paper thin I can hear my neighbors tv, coughing, and nose blowing.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, friendly, free parking. I recommend not getting a room that faces the bright lights in the front parking.
