Dollar General

It is rare that I give a one star review. This place is not a place for anyone who expects an organized or clean environment. There was things all over and way under stocked. Despite this I did continue to shop, I found a few things I needed and had them in my cart. Then... I went to ask a price for a tub that no where had a price posted. First the cashier rolled her eyes.. said "it's 11.00 - 11.91 with tax. I said thank you. She immediately turned to another coworker and said "I'm going to start telling them to download the app for a damn price" While I could still hear her loud making sure I heard her. I immediately put the tub back and told my gf we had to leave because I refuse to let her attitude ruin my day and checkout with her. As we walked out she was giving more attitude about the cars in the parking lot. The service was unacceptable, I've never just walked out of a business like this. I will never return.

While I appreciate good honesty I don't appreciate's stale, moldy food. I know what you're thinking, why buy food at a dollar store? well it's convenient and close. But as I got home all of my food items that were refrigerated had mold growing and some of the pantry items were stale. I brought them back and the cashier let me know that I probably shouldn't buy anything refrigerated because and I quote "they are not to be trusted and the stocker leave things out Way past the refrigerated time." Generally there's only one cashier sometimes there's another worker putting things away, and while that one cashier was moderately honest, the rest don't give a shit what happens at the store or how loud their music is. Half the time they're all having conversations with each other & the customers aren't even acknowledged from the time the purchase starts until they walk out.

If I could give a zero I would. I stood there for 10 min and received no service. The store is incredibly messy. Just go down the street to family dollar. Same prices and way better customer service.
