What a neat place to visit for dinosaur fans! We spent a little over 3 hours here with my almost 2 year old. She had a blast looking at all the dinosaurs. I was shocked how few I recognized. Many dinosaur books do not talk about some of the ones here. I wish they had a book about all of the books you saw during the visit. I would definitely buy it! Most of the books at the gift shop were cartoons or with just a few pictures and a lot of facts. Some fun little things: feeding koi fish on the path, some benches in the shade to eat a snack while walking, two large playgrounds with many picnic tables and a museum to look more facts about dinosaurs.I do wish they would tell us more about the dinosaur prints found in dinosaur state valley park. Many dinosaurs here were found in Canada, Asia, Europe, or Africa. Only a few were around here. I did love to learn about the only one found in a cow farm in Kansas!Overall, it was a great trip, and I would recommend to any dinosaur fans! If you come on a day, 80+ degrees, it will be hot, so bring lots of water, hats, sunscreen, fans, and cool clothes. There is some shade on the trail to get some relief. There is a changing table in the bathrooms with 4 stalls, so it's not too long of a wait when lines form.

We had an amazing time. My boys LOVE Dinosaurs. This is a must stop spot for family. If you come in the summer try to come early to beat the heat. Recommendations make sure you have water, sunscreen, or mosquito repellent and maybe some snacks for the kids.

Such a fun place for little ones! We came on a Friday and pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Our toddler LOVED the indoor and outdoor exhibits. They have a great picnic area around 2 huge playscapes. You can feed the pond which has a ton of coy fish and turtles. Definitely going to revisit!

This is a really cool store full of fun and unique gifts/souvenirs for Dino enthusiasts! Most items were reasonably priced with really good sales on a few things. There were Dino themed toys, hats, magnets, shirts, jewelry, geodes, fossils, etc. One of the biggest draws of this place is the dinosaur themed park (hence Dinosaur World). We didn't go because we were on the way out of town, but see my posted pics of the price sheets. Fyi- no public restrooms.

The dinosaurs are especially great for 2 to 5 year olds. Be sure to buy fish food from the gift shop because the koi pond is amazing! The older kids will really enjoy the gem mine and the fossil dig. Worth a visit!

Very cool spot for all the dinosaur-loving kids out there. It's a bit of a drive from Dallas with toddlers, but definitely worth the trip. We went on a Wednesday afternoon which was perfect as we only saw a few other families there. We started in an indoor area with animatronic dinosaurs that moved and roared (which scared one of the kids) then we transitioned outside to walk the half mile trail with dinosaur replicas scattered about. They even had a pond area where we were able to feed fish and turtles. At the end of the trail there was a playground where they ran around until it was time to leave. The park is small but perfect for toddlers (I brought a 2yo and 4yo). We didn't have time to dig for gems and the other section was still closed due to Covid but still a great time I'd recommend for those with kids.

We did not have any expectations coming here today. 3 adults & a 12 you never know if everyone is going to have a good time or not. Was every dinosaur an exact replicas? Nope! But we did not care. We enjoyed being outside, with each other & had a blast trying to pronounce all the names. I love that the path is one way!!! We did the gems & even a geo. If my son was younger I am sure we would come here a few more times every now & then. I recommend you taking some time & going at least once.

Fun little spot outside of the Dinosaur state park. HUGE play ground for kids of all ages. A nice walking trail full of dinosaurs with brief information about each. We paid extra to sift for gems (can't remember the price but we were able to walk out with a large amount) as well as fossils (which you only get 3 small ones). There's a small walk thru museum with fossils. Great spot for families and kids.

We loved walking through the dinosaurs and learning about them. This place has gem mining, a fossil dig, you can feed the fish, and there's a museum. There's even a playground for the kids and a picnic area. You can definitely spend a whole day here!

A whole lot of fun but it's outdoors so bring your sunscreen and bug spray. The indoor building is the gift shop but they don't have any food so you'll want to bring sandwiches, get food delivered (we heard you could have pizza delivered there), or grab something before you head that way.. Bring cash for the drink machine because IT'S HOT! The highlight was mining. My son and husband didn't want to stop.
