Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I would love to share a positive experience at Dickey's Barbecue! My wife and I had a delightful time. The excellent service, good atmosphere, and great food certainly make it a place worth visiting. And those excellent prices are an added bonus! I present 5 out of 5 rating, and I recommend. Whether it's a quick lite meal or a leisurely dining experience, Dickey's seems to have hit the mark. Next time I'm in the area, you should definitely consider stopping by!

Their website says veterans can get a complementary pulled pork sandwich on Veterans Day. After we ordered the sandwich we were told they did not participate in Veterans Day. Then I said "you don't?" And they replied "uhh. Ok then we're sold out" Clearly a lie. It's just shameful. I used to like this place. We will never spend a dime here again and we'll make sure others know how this location treats veterans.

They don't bbq on sight for starters. Then there are the numerous reviews claiming a staff member is abusive. I did not see a satisfactory response to these claims. Therefore I was unwilling to give this store a try. The franchise owner needs to fix this!

Fantastic food and timely delivery / service! Ramon was great to work with and lead a swift / thorough catering activity with zero hiccups! Try these guys and you will be pleasantly surprised!

Some of my favorite BBQ is from Dickeys. However this location does not have the same experience. The BBQ was not the same. The brisket was very dried out and tasted old. We asked for Spicy and I remember it usually had red pepper flakes in it and this one did not. If anything it tasted more sweeter. The condiment station was completely closed down so we had to ask for everything at the counter which was inconvenient. Going back and fourth.

I found out that this location has a new owner. Went today and had a GREAT experience. Food was hot, and ribs were so tender that they were falling off the bone! I was excited to hear about all the things that the new owner is planning to do and offer! Happy that I stopped by after leaving the movies.

My last two deliveries were incorrect. They don't care. When you order you want to eat your food warm/hot. When you open the box you don't take pictures! I just throw it away. They don't care. Awful service. Never ever again.

The WORST experience ever. Joe was working as we ordered and got all of our orders wrong. EVERY single thing. Left out items, incorrect orders, etc. He also didn't print a receipt and so when we went back to resolve it there was no way of us showing him what was wrong. Then he cursed me out of the store and kept saying "that's what you ordered" when we KNOW WHAT WE ORDERED. This was INSANE. I was not hostile whatsoever, but he completely popped off. He kept arguing that we ordered wrong!!! NOT the case. We were the only ones in the store and he still couldn't get anything right!! Don't leave without checking your orders. In fact don't go at all. Joe has anger issues - he must be the owner of the store because there's multiple reviews about him cursing people out. Wild. NEVER RETURNING and will be calling corporate to talk about Joe being fired immediately.

Do not recommend this Dickey's!!! Horrible customer service. The man named "Joe" behind the counter (based on the reviews below I'm guessing it was Amin, not Joe) had NO ONE else in the store and couldn't even get our order right. We got home and had missing items. When my son went back to let him know and get the missing items , he disagreed and got HOSTILE to the point that he said "F you and I don't have to serve you!" We were STUNNED. Who in the world curses out a customer?! He finally gave our son the missing items and cursed at him all the way out the door. Wow...not surprising this store has no business.

The parent company of this franchise sent an email to me advertising a $2.99 pulled pork sandwich. Had to be ordered on the app or online. So I go online and try one location. That location doesn't take on line orders. Got to an alternate location. That one only sells the sandwich for 5.99. I get in touch with the parent company in Dallas. They refer me to the extremely small font at the bottom of the email which of course has a disclaimer saying basically the special price is only at participating locations. If you have a yearning for barbecue, go somewhere else.
