Love their food. We usually get the goat biryani and chicken tikka masala and it's good every time. The price is kind of expensive but the portion is huge. It's hard to place an order through the phone sometimes. We've called a few times and either can't get a hold of someone or get hung up on. Online/in person ordering is the way to go.

We came in for a take out order and ordered 3 chicken items. It took about 30 minutes for the food to be ready. The food did taste good, though I had some hard dark pieces that I had to pick out multiple times.I'm lowering my rating because they once again mislabeled the food, luckily I caught it this time. They also didn't give us our garlic naan, just regular naan. Additionally we saw a roach crawling around the front area and there were some pans that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while sitting abandoned on the stove.

DO NOT GO HERE. IF I COULD GIVE THIS RESTAURANT ZERO STARS I WOULD. Let me tell you about my experience. I literally only make reviews when I have an exceptionally great or horrible experience. This is the latter.The first time I tried this place it took 30+ minutes. Food was sub par and staff was slow. Hey, maybe it was an off day, I get it. Restaurant was probably a B-C as far as cleanliness but i gave it the benefit of the doubt. This most recent time really bothered me. I went in to order Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala around 4pm. I paid and started waiting. Not 2 min the woman in the back tells me the kitchen is closed and that I need to come back. I ask for a refund, but she doesn't give it to me. Instead she gives me a reciept and another paper and tells me to come back later. I take it as an IOU and leave disappointed. Several days later I come in around 6. Place has people in it and the kitchen seems active. I go to the register (same woman there) and I ask for food. She tells me they had made it the day I ordered it and they threw it away. ...so I'm out money and food? I ask for a refund but they refuse. They tell me a manager will call me if I give them a number. I give them a number and I leave...again no food, no refund. I paid over $30 for food and I have nothing. I have not received a phone call and I'm pretty doubtful that I'll get a refund OR food that I ordered. I've been to many MANY Indian restaurants and NEVER have I been treated this way.

Disappointing experience overall.Orders took forever to be prepared, dosa was cold, service was subpar and the food was nothing to rave about. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, especially the outdoor seating when the weather is pleasant. Plenty of parking is available.Overall, there is much to be improved about the food and service.Pricing : Expensive for the food served. There are many better places to spend the money in.Will I return? : Unlikely!

Super cute eatery in Coppell! The outdoor seating is what I love most - but only second to their food! We ordered the pav bhai, shezwan noodles and two cakes and it was *chefs kiss*. Felt like I was back on the streets of Mumbai! Highly recommend! I will be back! The only downside was I actually wanted the grilled sandwich and Frankie but their grill was not working :-(

During my recent trip to Texas, I've had the pleasure of visiting Chowrastha on multiple occasions, and I can confidently assert that it ranks among the top spots in the area for delectable Indian fare.Their drive-through service proves to be an excellent choice when you're in a hurry and craving delicious snacks.I was thoroughly delighted with the prompt service and the inviting atmosphere. Here are some of the items I sampled:1. Onion Samosa: Featuring a crispy, well-seasoned onion filling, it was incredibly satisfying.2. Punugulu: Slightly crispy on the outside and wonderfully fluffy inside, perfectly cooked and served with peanut chutney.3. Chicken Tikka Frankie: A must-try - Succulent pieces of chicken tikka wrapped in a soft flatbread and accompanied by a side sauce and potato chips.4. Pineapple Pastry: Another must-try for those who enjoy sweet, fruity desserts; moist cake layers with a sweet pineapple filling made it highly enjoyable.5. Mango Lassi: A thick, creamy delight with a perfect blend of mangoes and yogurt.I'm certainly planning to revisit on my next trip to Texas and explore more of their offerings.

I love coming here! I always get the spicy chicken curry and it's so delicious with the rice and complimentary naan! And always so fresh

They are rude and the service sucks. Their printer and yelp menu don't communicate in the same language. You can order in yelp and their ticket in the kitchen won't match up and they don't give a crap in the restaurant. This is the second time in a row they have messed up our orders and last time they didn't care either.

This place is a hidden gem! I'm not sure about the other negative reviews, but we had a great experience here. Service was fast and the food was so so good. There's a huge variety to choose from on the menu. We happened to order all vegetarian but everything was great! They only had onion samosas available, so we tried those. Nicely fried and crispy, and was also good dipped in some of the sauce that came with the dosa.The masala dosa was delicious - the filling was amazing, and I would absolutely order it again.I've had different versions of the palak paneer at other establishments, and my only comment is that they're a bit on the heavier side in terms of spice level. I want to differentiate that compared to level of spiciness, to which we ordered medium and it was the perfect amount of kick without being too overwhelming. The garlic naan is super well done. We tried the rose milk out of curiosity and to be adventurous, and although I normally don't like fragrance flavored foods, it was not bad! I think the ice cream really balanced it out and the basil seeds added some nice texture. They make all of their drinks in house and it was in a cute little bottle, convenient for taking on the go! Will have to try the mango lassi if I visit again. There was also a chai that I saw many people order that I'm curious about.Overall, great experience and would highly recommend!
