Dansungsa Karaoke and Bar & Korean Food

Been here twice now, and both times have been on weekdays! Good experience from Allan! He's taken care of our group both times and is very accommodating! We love coming here for karaoke and drinks. Our first time here we got the food, and it gave majority of the group an upset stomach...it was lower quality than we thought. We never ordered any food after our first visit. This and the bathroom having a wonky lock are our only complaints. They also have weekday drink specials! Vibes are good, and we always enjoy our time!

This place is legendary and the food is underrated please come out and try this place! Great servers and the karaoke ain't bad! Ambiance is cute,a place to feel welcome!

Where to start. We came here on the night of March 12th. We drive from Fort Worth. They have karaoke and bar. It's a press the button for service type location. I remember coming here before and it was a good experience. We had ordered these Asian tacos that they only had for a limited time. I loved it. But this time only left a sour taste in my mouth. We ordered the corn cheese, yangyum chicken, Kim chi jigae, and spam, egg, rice appetizer. I do not recommend the corn cheese here. Soup was fine, spam, egg, rice appetizer was fine. The chicken I brought home after we ate some because my boyfriend went to go wash his hands in the men's room. And he said it smelled super strong like pee and when he sat down back at the table the smell followed him. Could've been ammonia cleaner but I couldn't tell you. The food became unappetizing and that's when I think I've learned my lesson not to come here anymore. It's sad but it's not worth it. Not sure if the workers are really happy or not but they look like it's rough. We did hit the call button once waiting for the check but no one came. I think maybe they were caught up with something. Anyways, I wish I didn't have anything negative to say about a place and I do not wish this experience upon anyone else. There are other places that have not let me down. It's a bar place so I guess you can expect bar like quality. I've just never had a restaurant make me feel like I needed to run far far away from them.

Food was great! I got the Teukbokki I liked it! For those Service was great! I had great people with me so it was even better. I didn't try the karaoke rooms but will try it out next time.

Good place to go late at night, especially when everywhere else is closed. Walking in it's nice, there's public and more secluded seating options, and even rooms for karaoke. The ramen was good and came with an egg. The seafood tofu kimchi soup was good it had crab meat as well, and the tofu was nice and soft the soup was savory. The octopus balls were very flavorful and melted in your mouth. The pork dumplings tasted very soft yet crunchy, it had just the right texture and went very well with the sauce. The fried pork was good by itself and wrapped in the lettuce and other veggies it came with, and the sauce wasn't too spicy but not too little either.the bolgolgi was soft, well cooked and seasoned, and wasn't too salty as some at other places can be. Even though this restaurant has a bar, it is still very family friendly place, I would recommend this place to anyone for a late night meal or just for any time of the day.

I visited this establishment based on TikTok reviews. So, I can say the service was not bad the servers we engaged with were nice so that's a bonus. Let's talk food. Calamari was fresh, but lacked seasoning, the fried orzo was good, the chili shrimp was good, the fried chicken, a.k.a. sweet-and-sour chicken not my favorite, kimchi rice had a good flavor, but smelled might be what should be expected due to it being Kimi, ordered 15 garlic wings, they were larger than the normal size Wings, which may be the reason why they were not cooked thoroughly. They offered to replace the wings or replace them with another dish. This is greatly appreciated, but at this point my party was grossed out and did not wish to try anything else. The drinks are canned drinks, which were expensive $3.25 for a can you pour into your own glass. Let me just say I will not be making a TikTok video praising this establishment. But that is just me.

We arrived at about 11pm on Saturday, June 17th. We had just left Legacy Hall and our group was looking for fun activities the show our cousins visiting from Florida. When we arrived it was a long wait, but we were ok with that because it was Saturday night. We waited patiently without even being acknowledged by the gentleman at the host desk after we inquired about how long the wait was. A group came in after us and was welcomed and without waiting was immediately given a room. When we asked if there was another room available, we were told they only seat parties of five or more. He didn't even look at us when he was speaking and completely dismissed us. It was a very negative experience. I was not in the mood to sing after this experience. I was so embarrassed that my guests and I were treated this way.

I don't know why this isn't rated higher. I've been going all over the DFW trying to find the best Kalbi and I think i've found it. Kimchi across the street used to hold that title but this one overtook it. 15/10 for their Kalbi. Usually Kalbi is sitting on top of a bed of onions which is on top of cast iron skillet still cooking the onions. However, this one had mushrooms as well and i LOVE mushrooms.The potato trio was good. as expected. who doesn't like fries? didn't exceed expectations not let us down.the fried chicken was not it. my girlfriend got that and she regretted it. but it's definitely doable. just not gonna order it next time.the bulgogi quesadillas are delicious as well. 12/10. the flavor is delicious, i just wish they were a little thicker. they were a little stingy with the cheese and meat on these.still 5/5 for this restaurant/karaoke bar because of the kalbi. they have a squid and shrimp plate that i'm going to try next time.

This is me and my besties go to restaurant! We love the food so much! The service is my absolute favorite part, you push a button and then they come over so it's way more private! Such fun vibes. Highly recommend!!
