Dance Axiom

Time for an updated review as we are about to finish our first season and had our first recital on Saturday.First, the recital was on 1.5 hours long.WINSecond. The recital was super casual, and easy going, which is good because when you've got little kids dancing, and young families with little kids, and everyone is is just LITTLE, that makes for quite a bit of ups and downs and talking, and ins and outs, and you know what... IT WAS OKAY! No one was bothered in the least, and that made everyone chill.So.. second win!And the third win, Miss Devin (the owner) was IN LABOR and still came to the recital. I wonder if she's had that sweet baby yet? Now there's a director who really loves her craft and her students! Three cheers for Dance Axiom!

My daughter has attended Dance Axiom for the last 4 years and has grown so much in her dance ability! Under the direction of Mr. Bryan, she has flourished! She has dreams of dancing professionally and with his experience, he has been able to coach and train her to be ready for those opportunities. He is truly interested in creating life long dancers who are poised and confident in their abilities.

This was our first year with Dance Axiom. I have to say it was wonderful! Not only did Frankie enjoy every moment in dance class, but every Sunday night she would ask her father and I is it going to be Monday tomorrow so I can go to dance?! Lol! Mrs. Devin was her teacher this year and she was wonderful to Frankie and her friends! I am so excited we decided to walk down there one evening and sign up for tap and ballet. We have also made some amazing friends along our year journey with dance axiom. We can not wait until we start up again in the fall.Dance Axiom has a great staff and they all love what they do, they welcome you like you are family and you never feel anything else but that. The studio is very clean, everything is very straight forward as far as schedules and any special meetings. It is very affordable. I hopethat our little girl want to keeping growing with this studio as she becomes older! Thank you all for a great year!

My daughter came here wanting to do Hip Hop classes. The pricing was fair, 1 hip hop class per week for $63 /month. My daughter REALLY enjoys the class. She looks forward to it whenever it's that day of the week she has classes. The owner and staff are VERY nice and welcoming. There are always classes going on when we are there - tap, ballet etc... And the level of classes and students are varied and you can attend classes that fit your level and needs. They also do a recital for your kids if you are interested for an addition... I think $60. The negative... I don't think the beginning hip hop class is for "serious" dancers. They are there learning basic moves and I think they are more focused on making it fun as opposed to technique. This is actually what we wanted, but if you were wanting it needing your classes to be more technique oriented, this is not the class for you. Maybe the higher levels focus a bit more on that but I wouldn't know. All in all, my daughter likes it very much and we keep going back. The people are great, the place is clean and professional and the "Dance Moms" I've met were all surprisingly wonderful women.

It's a small studio that does the best it can with limited space and staff. The communication is spotty and the calendars are unpredictable.

Dance Axiom is a true treasure. The owner Devin Cash and faculty have professional experience, training and know how. The way they are with the students and parents is unsurpassed in DFW. I've personally seen people grow there, not only as amazing dancers, but wonderful individuals. Also... it's right next to a Mexican restaurant, so drop off the kid and grab some grub! ;)
