Food was on point, the chicken was cooked to order, it was fresh and good!, the greens and Mac and cheese were seasoned well!! I'll be back

Food was bomb! The Arkansas location has new management, the original owner is back and the service and food was GREAT! Just wish they had koolaid. But guess I didn't need all that sugar.

This was straight trash! The negative reviews were on point. First off she said can I help you and I said uhhh. She didn't even wait for me to say anything else. She walked to the back and started talking to somebody. I'm guessing it was the cook. After I ordered she said it would be ready in 10 minutes. It was like 5 minutes. I've never in life had fish fried that fast. Taste like it was already cooked and they ran it back through the hot oil to heat it up. The pieces (can't call them fillets) were paper thin, hard and not seasoned. I try to give every business a fair chance regardless of the reviews. Needless to say, I won't be going back. Food and customer service sucks.

I Go here regularly and honestly this place is better than most big chain places I love the fact that they're black owned I love the fact that they actually sees in their food and I love the fact that my food is always fresh and delicious I really wish they would change out their ranch though or maybe make their own ranch, it dulls the flavor of the food.

My order was wrong and Ms.Rita took the time to figure out exactly what we were supposed to have and fixed it quickly. Great customer service!! The food is delicious and fried perfectly.

Good soul food i ate here last year and the food was good but the customer service was terrible. But i heard they have a new owner and everyone is so nice and the food is even better. great place if your looking for good soul and a full stomach

When I walked in the restaurant, the floor was sticky from the door all the way to the counter, which really turned me off. My daughter talked me into staying, because she had been wanting to try this place for awhile. We ordered some fries with chicken, garlic, and Parmesan and we couldn't get past the first couple of bites. We also ordered a piece of catfish, which was good sized, but it was hard and not at all tender. For these two items it was over 20 dollars. We ended up throwing it away and going through the drive thru at Canes. While we were there waiting, a gentleman walked in and started walking to the counter then immediately turned around and walked out when he started sticking to the floor.

Food was horrriblleeeeeeee .... Usually pretty good but idk what's going on now .. food was cold and nasty ..... what a waste of money

Placed a call in order- lady who took my order was kinda rude when I told her I want that I wanted all flats and crispy. Restaurant was VERY welcoming and clean but is kinda small. You can also dine in if you would like. They have a sign at the register that says " please put money in hand" lol! Food - (I DID NOT SEE THE COOK WEARING ANY GLOVES ) I ordered a 10 piece all flat extra crispy! The presentation was phenomenal! Wings- they are decent size but just had a little batter on them ( I dislike that) but were freshly cooked and flavorful. The wings did not have any crispy to them but again they were fresh! Side- fries (may have been cooked in the seafood grease) was super soggy with no crispy to them like my wing and had a lot of parsley! I found a piece of slice bread underneath the foil once I was done eating tho! Fried pickles- just don't order them full of grease and I slightly batter.Yes, I would most definitely go back but I will walk in to place my order and also call the cook out if they don't have on any gloves while handling food. Especially raw chicken! I'll also order my wings without the batter and make sure I tell the everything needs to be cooked well.

This is my 2nd time coming to the restaurant. My first experience was great! So I decided to bring my cousin with me this time.. On the morning of 9/10/21 the customer service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.. I asked for small things like ranch for my food and they gave me attitude and made little smart remarks. They also took like 30 minutes to make my food at that.. When I first got there on this day I asked for a red velvet waffle, the cook came from the back and said there was no more red velvet waffles.. 5 minutes later I heard in the back saying "why everybody keep wanting red velvet waffles" They were very unprofessional and I was not satisfied.
