I typically end up buying my booze at Specs where there's an endless selection of every type of alcohol in every price range. BUT, it's always a joy to shop small and shop local and get that whole local-neighborhood-feels fix. Crockett Street Bottle Shop offers just that. There's not a huge assortment of goods here, but they have your basics covered and you're not going to leave here with anything of poor quality. You'll spend a few extra bucks on the essentials; Maker's Mark, Fireball, Deep Eddy Vodka. The little wine cellar is really pretty and cozy, but don't come looking for bottles under $10 -- you're looking at $15 and up. And it's for the best, of course! I found some really lovely and not-so-common bottles of cab that I can't wait to buy more of. Nice sized walk-in cooler/beer cave/whatever you want to call it that has a pretty stellar variety for such a tiny store. The staff is great. You'll see the same folks in here and they're always sweet and ready to help. I read that they do tastings here, I'd love to see that happen! Great stop for some holiday shopping. :)

The employee working the register wasn't wearing a mask. This was on 11/14 at around 5:30pm. He was not enforcing the Tarrant county mandate upon another patron who had removed her mask. The craft beer selection was not exceptional. I will exclusively be going to Chicotsky's from now on where they take the pandemic more seriously.

Hooray! New liquor store!!! Such a convenient location from 7th Street and Foch. This place is gorgeous! I mean really. I've never seen anything like it. Beautiful new bottles line the shelves, amazing layout and the selection they have is high quality. Whiskey, Scotch, Vodka, Tequila, liqueurs for coffee or just sipping...you name it. They have it. Except Firefly :( Das aight tho. They also have an enormous walk in climate controlled room in the back where you can get beer, wine and even cigars! They deliver too, yep DELIVER...fo realz. The woman that helped me was so friendly, I will def be coming back. Welcome to the neighborhood!!!

I wandered into this store one evening and was very impressed! They have a rescue dog that hangs out in the store and plays with customers, she is really sweet! I had an extensive conversation in the wine cellar with one of the owners, he is very knowledgeable and fun to chat with. The wine cellar is climate controlled and full of a wide variety of wines. They carry some of the big well known name brand wines, but they also travel around and find small family owned wineries and limited production wineries and bring in those wines as well. I explained my wine preferences to the owner and he recommended a few bottles that I took home. He was right on point, I loved all of them. They also have a climate controlled room full of beer and a very large liquor selection. I will definitely be coming back here for more soon!

Super congenial local bottle shop next door to Durty Crow, I dropped in there in anticipation of an ensuing dinner at Revolver Taco Lounge, which, as it doesn't have it's TABC certification wrapped as of this writing, is currently BYOB.That meant that I was on the hunt for a variety of beers to complement the anticipated meal, and the staff at Crockett Street pointed me to the back corner, where you could build your six-pack via the single beers section. The beer selection here is pretty terrific (not all of them are available individually), and there's a tasting area that appears to see some regular use. And though we didn't get a chance to explore the wines in any great detail, we did ask the proprietor a bit about his philosophy in selecting vintages. What he offered up was a measured but somewhat enthusiastic take on what people have been buying lately, and in that sense I bet if you're looking for something that's been hot this season (except the wine itself, that would be weird), you'd be in good hands. And then we talked beer again - they said that if we had something in mind that he could get in, they'd gladly order it. And if I have the chance to buy local, that sounds like a grand idea. See ya soon, Crockett Street Bottle Shop.

This review limited only to craft beer selection. I didn't look for special wines or whiskeys.THIS IS NOT A BOTTLE SHOP. This is not a good liquor store if you're the kind of guy or gal who is looking for a "bottle shop". They use the name "bottle shop" in the vein that they sell bottles of stuff. This is not what a beer geek would call a "bottle shop". I was super disappointed when I got there. We went out of our way because of the name and decent reviews. Totally lame place. I went in hoping to buy a few bombers to take back to Oklahoma; I walked out with a four-pack of Deep Ellum's Dream Crusher DIPA.Any medium-sized liquor store in Oklahoma has a much, much better selection. If you need a sixer and a bottle of Jack, this place is fine. If you actually want to peruse the craft beer available in DFW area, you better go elsewhere. Michael G's review is right on.

Best liquor store ever. Clerks were very helpful, but not pushy at all. They were very helpful with picking a good wine (even for under $15), and taking us straight to the shelf for the liquor we wanted.Prices were maybe 10 to 15 percent higher than other places I've been, but worth it for the good help, especially if you're picking a wine. Also the selection of beers was great (even some local Rahrs), and you can build your own six packs from singles for a decent price.

I'm new to the area, and coming from Louisiana means that I'm used to buying liquor at Kroger not at some sort of fancy purpose built establishment. So, despite being befuddled by such things as enormous whiskey selections and knowledgable staff I was very pleased to have discovered Crockett Street Bottle Shop. There are many single barrel bourbons and single malt scotches, and some rotational stocking which means that there is always something new to see. The beer selection is decent, but the prices are a little high. Actually, the prices are a bit higher than I would expect for most everything, but I chalk that up to carrying such a deep selection and being in the new hip area of town. It is always a pleasant experience going to Crockett Street, and the owners (I'm guessing the clerks are the owners) are pleasant to talk to and happy to help. Definitely a place I will return to. Please Remember, 4 stars means it is still a great place to go.

Must have just sold to new ownership. Guess their first move was to jack up prices to the point that I live across the street and I'd rather drive to another liquor store 15 minutes away.
