Cresson Bluff

The grounds are very pretty and the owners were very personable. Limited wine making so far, most grapes sourced from California, Italy, and Mississippi. I did not care for the Mississippi wine, probably an acquired taste. The gave estate Tempranillo, I wasn't moved by that one. I did like the Italian Pinot Grigio and the California red blend. Even took a bottle of it with me back to California. The spot is convenient and definitely worth checking out

Visiting family and saw this special place on the drive from DFW to Granbury and had to make sure we checked it out. This place is relatively new but the owner is super knowledgeable as he grew up in a wine family from Mississippi. All the wines we tasted were great especially the estate grown wine and the Carlos (muscadine), yes...I said muscadine. In no way did I expect to experience a muscadine wine in Texas - it was fabulous! We visit the South often and muscadine is the go to. The property & ambiance was great and will get even better as it matures. The staff was very welcoming, great family owned and operated winery. I highly recommend ALL the locals visit often and ensure the future success of such a great place! Next time we are in from Ohio, we will be back!

Service and wine were great! They are just learning the ropes in food but it is nice.
