Crazy 8s Sports Bar & Grill

The Crazy 8s Sport bar is just that- a sports bar and not a very good one. I've been several times and the outdoor entertainment is usually ok, plus it is the only thing open in MW late at night. The bottles and cans of beer are good enough but I don't trust the cleanliness of this place. The food is disgusting- don't bother to order. I've been three times and go home sick to my stomach three times. Not worth it. We got the chicken wings- soggy skins and undercooked chicken. The Chips and salsa with queso. I mean who can go wrong? Crazy 8 can! The queso is not real. Looks like whipped orange oil. The wait staff is pleasant and try their best to accommodate the customer but the cook staff and cleanliness of the place is too much to overcomeWe will go back for the local entertainment but will not be ordering food (at all) or drinks that come out of a tap - bottles or cans only

This was actually a very good little place! We had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was served on grilled Texas toast..with homemade fries! It has onions and jalapeños that give it the right amount of heat!

Nacho Crazy about Crazy 8. Bless this little places heart. We were staying at the crazy water and thought we would give crazy 8 a chance although reviews were a little iffy. I would not recommend. They were out of so many liquors, the list of things they were out of were longer than what they had. Most of their drink menu couldn't be ordered. The little waitress was not knowledgeable and struggled with people skills. The beer was hot and foamy. We decided to forgo on food since the first 5 minutes was pretty tough. The chips salsa and queso that was $10 bucks was alright. The queso was better than the salsa. The restaurant was very hot and a bit dirty. I will not be going there again.

This was probably the worst experience I've ever had. Upon arriving there were no people inside, should have been our first sign being prime time Saturday night. It was extremely hot no ac just fans. The sweet tea was like water, we got soda instead. We ordered jalapeno poppers, I realized I had these exact ones before, from the freezer section at the grocery store.... Expensive for frozen and also only like 4 and tiny. Burgers were okay, but mine had a very soggy bottom bun, I asked for no mayo and mayo was on it. Fries were nasty. They were soggy and the bigger ones were undercooked. We didn't even make it out of the building before both of us spent some time in the bathroom with food poisoning. $52 for the nastiest meal, terrible atmosphere, and food poisoning. AVOID

Drove down to Mineral Wells to buy a couple cases of Crazy Water with the intent of having lunch somewhere in town. Saw Crazy 8s sports bar before & decided to check it out. When I walked in I really didn't know what to expect as there were only three people sitting at the bar & no one at any of the tables. Let me get right to it: I was preparing to be let down as I looked at the menu & saw just basic easy to make stuff. Chili cheese dogs, nachos, wings & whatnot. But let me tell you, the food we had was great. My wife had the Texas Cheese Steak & I had the nachos. Both really good. Really. Good. Wife's cheese steak came with fresh cut fries that she was kind enough to share with me. Good stuff. The bartender, Aaron, is a very personable guy that makes good recommendations & is great for conversations. Ask him about snorkeling in Key West. Nice guy.Bar appears fully stocked: Jim Beam, Jameson, Captain Morgan, Western Son etc. and yes, they have beer. Bottled & on tap. Take a few minutes on a hot summer day & stop in. Or anytime. It's worth a stop.

The menu is typical bar food and nothing special. I ordered a bowl of beans and they were not good at all. They tasted sour to me. My husband ordered nachos and the queso was the stuff out of a can that you get from a football game concession stand. Maybe the drinks are good?!?

how the hell are you supposed to handle when the baker hotel opens when you run out of food on a saturday at 7:30pm. maybe the old people need to shutdown shop and let people that can handle it run it! And WHO TF USES TABLE SALT TO DRESS BEER?!

This is my family's & I go to spot when we are in town visiting. We love the daily specials, awesome atmosphere and even better when live bands play. Loved when the had the pool table outside- gave us something to do. We have two hats and every koozie color. Service is always on point even with staffing / calling in problems from employees that they apologize for.

Great atmosphere, cold beers, amazing specialty drink menu, plenty of TVs for sports watching, staff is always very friendly and helpful, along with awesome wings! 10 out of 10!!

July 3rd - Went with family for lunch stop after a hike. Service was average. A bit of a wait time from when we placed our order to when we got our food. I ordered buffalo wings while the rest of the fam ordered wraps and the cheesesteak sandwiches. Wings were a bit too crispy and didn't have enough buffalo sauce for my tastes, the wraps were good and cheesesteaks were alright.Overall ambiance was alright, not too many people were around when we were there. Seemed like there was only one hostess tho thats prolly because it was the day before July 4: the hostess was nice and occasionally checked in for refills. Was one of the few restaurants still open at the time.
