Cowtown Bowling Center

My friends from church were meeting here. I've seen some pics on Instagram about Cowtown Bowling so, I wanted to check it out.The staff was super helpful. I walked up to the desk and told them my situation. The girl explained, "They might be over in lane 15&16." She was right! What a relief! I didn't have to walk all over the Bowling Alley to find my friends. Then, I snapped a pic of the front desk and the guy was posing for the pic. That's was nice of him. Most people dodge pics. Lol It was a Friday night so it was crowded. It seemed like every lane was occupied. Lights were dim and pins were glowing. The crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves. Also, when you program your name for a game it will show your picture. I thought that was a neat feature.If,l were you. I would check out this hidden Bowling Alley in River Oaks. You would enjoy it!

It's an older bowling alley in River Oaks, about what you'd expect. We were there on a Friday night and did not wait long. During the week, it's $8 per person to bowl. I tried to find out pricing on the website and it only had the weekday price listed. So, I was a little surprised it was more on Friday night. Not terribly expensive, but I would have preferred to have been able to find the pricing on my own.The guys behind the desk were great. We didn't order anything at the bar, but it was busy based on the constant "Order ready for..." calls over the PA. The food looked like high school foot ball stadium nachos, etc.The lanes were a bit slippery, and balls a bit oily. The software that keeps score looks like a kids video game. It's been a while since I bowled and maybe this is just how it is now. I could do without the dinosaurs shouting "Party!" when I scored a strike. But idk, maybe that makes it more fun?Overall a pretty positive experience. I think I'd come on a weekday next time for better pricing.

Great family place. Clean, a little loud with the music but over all good vibes. The grill is actually pretty good too!

Horrible and rude. No open lanes available during the week, despite what their website says. Won't honor your name on the list during the weekend and have nasty attitudes. Spend your money elsewhere.

We came here because there was a really good deal on Groupon. For about $24, we got two games of bowling and shoe rental for four people. We came on a Sunday afternoon and there is no wait for a lane. They had lots of little kid birthday parties going on, but it wasn't too crowded. One cool thing they offer is bumpers to select people in your group. Maybe this has been around forever, but I had never had that option. Usually, if you want bumpers everyone in the group has to have them. You can pick who needs them in your group and they pop up for that player only! I that that was awesome! Apparently, this place is been around forever, it's definitely an older bowling alley. It's nothing fancy or nice, but for the bargain we got, we had a lot of fun. It appears as though they have a full bar, to help those who might have a lack of bowling skills! I would not be opposed to coming back.

We went here on a whim, we wanted to Bowl and this was the closest place to us in Fort Worth. The area it is in is sketchy, almost scary. Lots of pick up trucks around the parking lot. Anyway, so we went inside and our wait for a lane was only like 5 min, not bad at all for a weekend. They have lanes on the right and left side, and pool, and a bar. So you can eat an drink while playing. We paid Less then $30 for 2 hours! Pretty good. And that included shoes. The lanes were easy, some places have uneven lanes, but this place was easy to bowl.

Attended grandson's birthday party here and the lanes were set up for the kids with fun scorekeeping software. The staff member taking care of us was phenomenal; very attentive and made sure everyone had what they needed at all times. I didn't get his name but he was great. The pizza isn't the best but it was fine for the kids; it was eaten with no issues. I thought it was very nice the bowling alley also took care of providing the goodie bags for the guests, too. Very nice people; I'm sure we will return.

Dated bowling alley, but lower prices. Great value. Have bowled here about twice a month over the past four months.

We were kicked out because of a machine malfunction , also people there were ghetto I do not recommend if you want a bowling center .
