Country Meat Market

Bought some ground beef and chicken this past spring. Had an issue with one pkg of beef but it was resolved quickly. Meats have been good and better than buying in the grocery store. Service is quick and a lot to choose from.

I do not go to the meat market much this is new to me. We decided to go one Saturday the Country Meat Market is near us. The place was very busy long line to wait in to order. I was surprise with the long line. Good for them plenty of business. They did have plenty of people working it just takes a while for people to pick out their meats. So we had a long wait.The Meat Market has plenty of meat to pick from a bunch of specials that change always. I think the specials change always. We got some beef ribs turned out to be very tuff. And we got this red color sausage they sold in the freezer. The sausage was not very good I would not recommended the sausage. The service was good. Not too happy with the wait. But cannot fault them on that. May go back one day just not a meat market guy.

My first time and I will definitely return. Great patio steaks and not a bad price! delicious made-in house summer sausage. Great service

After reading mostly positive reviews, we purchased the steak lovers package online.This package consists of filets, club, t bonessteaks that you would expect quality. They are not. Most of them are thin, probably less than a quarter inch thick. They shrink like bacon, and have a funky taste.The filets wrapped in bacon on the other hand, are probably close to an inch thick, but taste terrible, like liver. I seriously am wondering if I'm eating beef or burro.The hamburger was great, but not worth $159. I'm glad we only bought this package instead of a side.

The steaks are always so gooood. Thick, marbled, high quality unseasoned steak for me to grill one making it better than any steakhouse around I always receive good service, usually a person or two ahead of me but get attended promptly. The place looks nice, its small but theres a line with all the meats they have available for you, you can see in the background that they butcher they're steaks there. Overall love it!

Great cuts of meat plus frozen vegetables! Friendly staff! Big selection . The patio steaks and jalapeño sausage was excellent.

Let me tell you, I was born in Ft Worth and raised in Pontiac Mi and now lived in Blythewood SC thanks to the US Army (Ret.) Since 2005 we travel every year back for Family Reunions and (CMM) was told to us for the meats you will enjoy and boy they ain't never lied lol, We tired the Earl Campbell brand 0f sausages so we brought 3 boxes back for a fundraiser and boy did they enjoy them so I can't leave Tx without boxes and spices and other items without visiting Country Meat Market my go to place see you soon. I have been here a few times. I believe the meat is good and you can definitely tell the difference between store bought and the taste of fresh meat. My problem is the customer service. There is one gentleman that acts like it is a chore for him to wait on you. On top of this they weigh all the meat after it has been packaged and out in a bag. That weight adds on to the cost you are paying. I have never seen a butcher make you pay for packaging. If you buy a lot of something you are also paying for the grocery bag they put on the scale. I am sorry, but the grocery bag and the packaging add to the weight. I am trying to find a new place because I don't feel this is fair. When I brought it up I was treated rude about it. He took the product out of the bag and weighed the packages meat and there was over a $1.00 difference and this is with all the packaging still on it. You buy a lot this adds up. I went to another meat butcher and they didn't package until after it was weighed, but they are just too far to go all the time.

Great selection of items. Staff is knowledgeable and doesn't rush you to order exactly what you need. They never tried to upswell us. The store smelled good unlike some other meat markets. We will definitely be going here for all future beef needs.

All I writing on only relative to the beef jerky. I tried it. Spent $10 and was lacking in juiciness. I realize jerky has moisture removed but this is difficult to chew dry. I still prefer Badlands or Buckees Jersey better. I'll try the steaks some other time. Disappointed with the jerky.
