Comal Street Tacos

Comal Street Tacos has been around for years, but this was our first time giving it a try. The taco plate comes with three tacos, and it's nice that you can choose up to two different styles. The gentleman who took our order was attentive and made sure to ask whether we wanted rice and cilantro on each plate.Our two orders of taco plates came with three small salsas. I started with the green salsa, thinking the red would have more kick, but both were surprisingly spicy! A few drops were more than enough for me. The asada/steak and brisket tacos were definitely our favorites. The pollo/chicken was good, but it didn't stand out as much.I appreciated that they served the tacos with lime, though the lime was a bit too dry to get more than a few drops out of. Each taco was served with three small tortillas, and though that seemed like a lot at first, it worked to help keep the tacos from falling apart.My daughter tried the agua de jamaica for the first time and loved it, but I would have preferred it to be a little less sweet. There were other items on the menu that caught my eye, so we'll definitely be back to try more. We may also trying dining in. The restaurant was very clean and had several tables. I'm not sure what I expected based on pictures of the menu and driving by, but I'm glad we decided to stop by today!

I've been visiting here off and on for the past two years and can honestly say this has the best consistency of flavor and quality that I've experienced. I live in Georgia but I travel here for work often, and when I get here, this is the first place I go.Everyone is kind and thoughtful to ensure you get exactly what you want. With great prices and delicious flavors, this place is absolutely perfect. I usually have time to be able to sit in the dinning room which has plenty of space to relax for lunch or dinner, and they always have great music going. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my heart keeps coming back to the classic taco plate. Try the Al Pastor!

Nice small business spot with great food! Prices are average in my opinion. Very friendly staff. Only knocked star down because there's no soda machine. I'm not a fan of plastic bottle coke when sitting down for any meal at a restaurant

I had grabbed Togo from Comal street tacos after having passed it a number of times before. I had been kind of glad I did togo because it was a little bit of a mess during my visit. Though staff was nice enough during my visit. Let them know my name and I had a pick up, and I got my food a few minutes later. The tacos were decent enough, not my favorite, but ok enough. The enchiladas I had picked up ended up not being good. I was glad we had order things to split, cause I wouldn't have finished them if it had been the only thing I had gotten. I may stop if I'm there in need of a quick taco fix in that immediate area, but I don't know if I would go out of my way for it again.

Been looking for months for really good carne asada tacos! The search is over. The food here is amazing, good flavors, cute little place to eat. Staff is friendly and food was delicious. Lots of variety and great prices. They even have $7.99 specials during the week that come with a large portion of food. Will definitely be back!!

Ordered a steak taco plate. It was very flavorful. It came out quick. They run a special Mon- Fri and they honored that price even though it was Sunday. These are small street tacos with rice and beans. For the price it was really good.

I would highly recommend if you are looking for a cheap but delicious street taco. It is very casual, but nice enough to eat there. I like their guacamole too!

A little too gushy meat on texture for pastor. But it was great. Would recommend. The water flavor drinks were great.

This place has great food! Delicious dessert! The flan is yummy! Fabulous price. Good service. Great Hispanic music w/ good vibes. Perfect hole in the wall. Very authentic. Don't sleep on this place!!
