The Cold War Air Museum is an enjoyable travel through time. This is a living museum as they restore these masterpieces of aviation wonder, and bring them back to life! You can walk through the hangers, and get up close and personal with these wondrous machines. If you enjoy history, like to learn, or just want to experience a change of pace this is a perfect opportunity. Come see Migs, Helicopters, and an assortment of other planes. There were a number of people working on the aircraft the day I went. They all stopped their work, and engaged us, speaking eloquently about their work. You could literally feel their passion being exuded in their stories and explanations. I took literally dozens of photos, and recommend you visit their site then go and enjoy yourself!!http://www.coldwarairmuseum.com

Amazing place with many Russian helis and Migs. Many of these aircraft or being restored or flying. The volunteers are extremely friendly and you see one of the best active jet-heli collections in the world

Great Hind helicopters here. One of the volunteers was working on one. He was Russian. So cool to hear him talk. The volunteers are great and are so proud of their museum. You can see some fabulous aircraft take off. They even sell t-shirst. All goes to a good cause. Preserve history!
