The people working the patch were very friendly and knowledgeable. They indulged my questions about which pumpkin is best for soup. I ended up with a ten pound red one that made enough soup for my extended family for months to come for under $10. It had such an aromatic smell when I cut it open. Almost like a cantaloupe. The soup was . Not a whole lot for adults except taking advantage of cute photo ops and enjoying watching your progeny have a blast. (Which they did). The pumpkins are high quality and reasonably priced.

We went before and had a good time. This year on opening day no less was extremely underwhelming. They advertised magic shows, balloons, face painting... nobody I saw was doing any magic, the balloon guy was extremely unenthusiastic and because of how my daughter reacted, I didn't even want to approach him for one. I didn't see any face painter but my husband said there was one , I believe it was the older woman sitting at a booth with a bunch of plants and I honestly walked right by. There wasn't tons of people (we came in the afternoon) and you'd think that people working there would be more engaging. I saw the owner once but not even a hello. He was very friendly last year and even took a family pic for us. This year I was just very disappointed. Perhaps towards Halloween it may be worth a visit but I don't see a point in returning again. Very sad. They did have (as usual) lots of plastic play toys for the kids to enjoy and a few bounce houses. The mini cows and goats....yeah, behind an electric fence. Seriously. Better time spent at the Aubrey Peanut Festival which is free and has TONS of things for kids to do and a Petting Zoo as well as pony rides. This was not worth $20 IMO

Great pumpkin patch for families with kids under 6 years old. Kids under two were free and they got a free mini pumpkin as well, adults were $12 each which wasn't bad at all. They have several activities set up including face painting, a mini hay maze, several different holiday theme picture set ups, bounce houses and more. They also had a snack shack serving hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos and snow cones which are all also reasonably priced. There is also a pumpkin patch of course with many options for purchase.

We decided last minute to find a pumpkin patch and came across some information about this one. Decided to try it. And we loved it! Our 2.5 yr old loved running - just anywhere and everywhere. He loved the toy bikes; playgound, and the bounce houses. We didn't visit the animals, but we saw them in the distance. We enjoyed a snow cone and took home some great gourds and pumpkins (all the sizes, colors, and shapes). We truly loved meeting the family (it's all family-run business - they work hard in the corporate world and do this as a side business...which is truly incredible). I just wanted to ensure to leave my review because I believe in supporting small local businesses with wholeness family atmospheres. Thank you Cobbins Family!
