Cinemark 14

This is a pretty nice theater. There is plenty of parking and it's in a nice location. The seats are also pretty comfortable and usually it's very clean. The concessions are average. Nothing stellar. Food is simple items like hot dogs or prepackaged nachos. Popcorn is also ok. Not great but not terrible either. However if feel most concessions are over priced these days for what you get with the exception of places like Alamo Drafthouse or Movie Eatery. That's not really a huge deal as I'm not going there to eat anyway. It's close by and easy to get in and out of. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants. Chuy's and Bone Daddy's (yuck), and BJ's Brewhouse are all right there too.

DANGEROUS PLACE. AVOID!!My car was stolen at the Cinemark 14 in Denton last night 12/26/2023. I have noticed the last couple times we have been to this theater (the last time before last night was to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3), that the place has groups of people hanging around aimlessly outside and the theater looks very dirty inside. Upon discovering that my car was gone, I went back in the theater to ask the 'manager' to call the police for me. Minutes later, another person appears and tells me they cannot call the police for me. WTF?? This second rando person, who was ALSO wearing a manager nametag, 'Elliott assistant manager', also refused to give me the name and number of the real manager of this dump. Makes me wonder how much crime must occur here that this is the reaction. Elliott also said they have no cameras outside. WTF?? I would never have gone into this dump if I had known their security was so bad. Speaking of security, there appears to be no security staff at this place. Triple WTF!When we finally notified Denton PD and officer B Scott responded, I was very satisfied with the response and professionalism of the Denton PD. DO NOT GO TO THIS THEATER! THEY HAVE NO CONCERN FOR THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THEIR PATRONS.

This theater is nice and staff is always super friendly. I would like to see the owner repair the chairs that need it. Where there is one torn seat there will be more. I love that u can preorder snacks as it's super convenient. Although, I find the popcorn is not as fresh and super salty. When I buy popcorn from the concession stand it's always fresh and tasty. The theater does not appear to be practicing good cleaning. I really like this theater and want to support local businesses: however, the theater needs to provide a clean sitting area that is maintained.

The theater itself is fine, it's clean, the seating comfortable, but when I went yesterday neither box office was in use and tickets had to be purchased via ONE electronic kiosk in the lobby. It was REALLY SLOW and took quite awhile to purchase a ticket... push a button and wait. Of course there wasn't any manager around to complain to - or to open the box office. If you're going to force your customers into the same position that every business is doing and make us do the work then at the VERY LEAST have two or three kiosks and spend the money on GOOD internet service.

Great movie theater for the disabled, though the service at the front may be lacking. No other comments at this time. Thanks for your help to the often overlooked disabled segment of the Denton community.

This place is nice, but unfortunately our seats did not recline. The manager had to come out and try to fix them, which he couldn't, so he gave us tickets to come back. Other than that, it's a very convenient theatre.

They have the slowest workers in the concessions. No one wants to work and all stand around talking vs serving the long line.

DO NOT GO TO THIS THEATER!!! The workers are extremely rude. Especially the brunette ticket checker. He used very suggestive language and made me uncomfortable. The theaters smelled like vomit and were very unsanitary. Very bad customer service. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!

Enjoyed the theater with my sister. Clean and service. Priced wasn't bad at all. The beer was good and cold. Will be back again

Checked earlier in the day for the times a specific movie was playing to see in the evening, made sure it was the correct theatre and day, etc.. no problems until we got to the theatre to purchase the tickets, they had removed all the evening showtimes. Royally pissed off, date night ruined. I didn't think i would have to purchase tickets in advance for a movie that's been out for weeks now, but apparently this theatre removes showtimes if no one buys any tickets for that showing. I've never heard of theatre's doing that before but i don't know what else could be the reason. The last time we tried to see a movie we pre-ordered, but something came up and we tried to refund the tickets which is allowed if its done before the showtime, but we kept getting an "error - please try again later" on the refund page and was never able to get our money back.
