Service was really good. I will say they do a decent job at Tex-Mex. You aren't going to get anything amazing but you will get solid food at a reasonable price. The salsa was a tad too salty but the chips were fresh. The queso was very good a creamy. The Chuychonga was a chicken wrap that was fried but if you dip it in queso it's pretty tasty. The Beef Enchiladas had decent heat to it that wasn't over powering. This is dependable food at the end of the day with good service.

We had gotten out of our downtown Ft. Worth church service and wasn't in the mood to go home and cook. We headed down 7th Street to see what grabbed our fancy and our tummies! As we came over the Trinity River bridge, we spied Chuy's and the decision was made!Fortunately, the after-church crowd wasn't too bad. We were seated immediately. YAY! We really thought about margaritas but decided on iced tea instead. Chips and salsa greeted up. For dipping we ordered some of Chuy's delicious queso. When you're there, don't forget to ask the server for a bowl of Chuy's Creamy Jalapeno did. It's good on everything. After looking over the menu, we decided to split an order of chicken fajitas. Shortly, our server brought our sizzling chicken fajitas to our table. Oh, they smelled SO good. On top of that they had a delicious taste, and the setup had everything to take the fajitas to the next level. We were even visited by "Taco Dude" at our table.

I'm still eating here semi-regularly, primarily because it's extremely convenient (walking distance). The best thing I can say about the food is that everything is reliably fresh, and the service is mostly solid. The patio is a bonus. Between the blaring music (why???) and the nearby traffic noise, it's still way, way too loud, but it's so nice to watch folks walking around the neighborhood, and to be able look across at the park, that we just endure it. I'm not the biggest fan of Tex-Mex, but their chicken tortilla soup is excellent, and probably the thing I order the most regularly. Also, the huge steak burrito is pretty good, especially topped with hatch chile, and the vegetable enchiladas are something a bit different, and always tasty. I cannot emphasize enough how very much I still hate their pathetic chips. Shudder. (Luckily, I shouldn't be eating them anyway, so I guess it's a silver lining?) That said, the salsa that comes out with the chips is really good. It doesn't have much kick, but it's fresh and flavorful. Very homestyle. I always order an extra dish to use in place of dressing whenever I have a salad.

Hi, peeps. Happy Tuesday. Today was gorgeous. My big bro is in town. I wanted brunch, and he wanted to munch. Munch wins. So it's top down so we can enjoy the breeze on the roll to West 7th Street in Fort Worth. This is high noon, so there were sweet seats on the patio. Love the view because I'm a car fanatic. This spot is perfect for spotting the nicest whips. Fresh warm chip and chunky salsa was out quickly. The server was all smiles. Off to a great start. Had the Chuychanga. The crust is so buttery with a soft crust like a taco salad bowls crunch. Just super delicious. I got the steak fajita with the queso topping. Ask for extra shredded lettuce so it feels healthier. Our server checked on us several times. Super great service. The tea, um, super light and weak. Truly could have just had water with more body. Truly disappointing. All in all, for the fresh air, views, good service, a solid 4 experience. Especially for the value. Take care folks. Get out and catch some sun, fresh air, and fun times.

Sat at the bar at lunch and Cody was so attentive and took great care of us! Shared an appetizer plate that came out short of the taquitos- before we could mention it, Cody had it taken care of. Great tasty light chips, fresh salsa, cold beer and a mango margarita? Yes yes yes!

I've here a few times but not in a while bc it was bad the time before. This time was much better, however, my biggest problem was the "salsa". It was basically pico but I wouldnt call it salsa, I dont know if the blender was broken or if that's how they have it but I was a let down. The chips were great though, food was pretty good, much better than last time. You can tell they used real chicken breast and the veggies were pretty fresh. Service was also pretty good, I would be back.

Absolutely wish dogs weren't allowed on the enclosed patio. Not only is it not sanitary it causes disturbance to other patrons. Food- Seems like a decline since I last visited. Service- Our waiter did his best but seemed overwhelmed. Short with interaction & came and left the table so quick we couldn't request things at times. Causing our food to be cold by the time he returned so we could request what we needed (extra sauce, more chips, drink refills, additional orders, etc) Many other places in this immediate area to dine, so I won't rush back or recommend

I recently ordered a meal to-go from Chuy's and the meal was good, ready on-time and made fast. Don't expect authentic Mexican flavors from here, but a laidback Tex-Mex meal. This location is always packed on the weekends, so be prepared to wait a bit. I tried the chimichanga, and it was pretty good. The meal comes with free chips and salsa, which is always a nice plus. My sister had the enchiladas which she said was good, but lacked a little flavor. We would order from here again due to the convenience of the location.
