China Queen

We visited on a Tuesday for their buy one get one free soup dumplings special. The dumplings came out quickly. The dumpling skin was delicate and held the soup well. I liked them a lot. We ordered the orange chicken, sizzling beef, and Chinese vegetable. The food portions were large and tasty. The restaurant was cozy, clean, and quiet. They was a steady stream of customers coming in for takeout orders too. The service was friendly and attentive. They brought us a small dish of edamame while we waited. We will come back again and also try their linch specials.

Alphabet Date C. I felt like dim sum and we were in the area so I looked for a spot that started with a C and here we are. It's a lovely restaurant. The ambiance was really nice, clean and quiet. We were greeted and seated really quickly at around 11:30am on a Saturday. Our server immediately gave us water and edamame. He was quick and came by often to fill our water. We ordered hot tea, pork XLB, salt & pepper squid, hot and sour soup, and sweet and sour spare ribs. The winner was the pork XLB. The salt & pepper squid was tough. I wouldn't order that again. I also really liked the hot and sour soup, but how do you really mess that up? The sweet and sour spare ribs were also pretty good. I think I'd try other things if we ever go here again, but I'm glad we got to try it. It was a solid last minute alphabet date.

Good spot for a quick lunch. We enjoyed the xiao long bao's and especially the Shanghai shumai's.

I ordered from here for delivery. The food was prepared and packaged timely. It came with fortune cookies and plastic sealed utensils. I ordered a single dish - braised pork trotters. It was just alright. The trotters are a mix of salty and sweet. It was a tad expensive at $15 given the small portions.

The Shanghai Braised Pork Belly is not so good because it has a unique coconut flavor that we weren't expecting. The green beans were really good, and we also enjoyed the service and atmosphere. I need to come back and try the other dishes.

Was looking for a decent Chinese restaurant around carrolton & found this place on Yelp. We ordered dumplings, soup dumplings, and beef flat rice noodles. Everything was delicious! It is a bit pricier than other Chinese restaurants in DFW. Probably not my first pick when thinking of Chinese restaurants, but a good option around this area.

Absolutely delicious! Had the Spring rolls, crab rangoons, and golden garlic chicken and cant say a bad thing about any of them! And I feel like I got great value for the portion sizes, I had leftovers for lunch the next day. The food came out quickly as well, was in and out of the place in about an hour. Will definitely be coming back!

Most authentic Chinese food you can find in this area. Love all the steamed and fried dumplings! Our new favorite Chinese restaurant. The service is great too.

Excellent food, and the staff was very friendly. They answered all my questions about the menu and helped recommend what to choose.

I live near midway and trinity mills. There is no decent Chinese food restaurant near us, I literally stumbled into this place and let me say to you with 100% honesty. China Queen is the best Asian cuisine short of flying to China itself. unbelievably fresh, meticulous preparation, and presentation. you can tell the people/employees have pride in their business and it shows.
