Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

We just ate at Cheddars and I have to say the food was delicious. I had a chicken pot pie and it was full of chicken, and the homemade crust was incredibly flaky. My husband had blackened salmon and it was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Most of all the crossaints, are a must have. Actually just order some to go also. Our waiter, Bradley was very attentive and took care of all his tables with compentsey.It was so nice, to not have to shout to carry on a conversation. It was a extremely clean and tasteful place to eat.

Came to have lunch with my sister. It was alright. Our server wasn't very attentive unless I caught her attention. Her name was Jade. For an appetizer, we got the queso with beef. When she brought it out it didn't have the beef and she mentioned she didn't hear me ask for it. May be because as I was talking to her she started walking off before I was done talking. The dip came out hot and was good but not ggreat. Ordered the blackened salmon with side caesar and brocolli casserole. The salmon came out normal not blackened and was also a little over cooked. The dressing for the caesar side was alright. Not the best but not the worst. When I eventually got the brocolli casserole it was cold. Once she got other tables, we had to flag her down to get her attention. She would keep walking by our table and not ask if we needed anything. We needed to go boxes, to go drinks, and the check. She said it was on the computer on the table which it wasn't. Asked for just the print out check and she brought me a computer for the table to do everything. In which the gift card I had would not work on it. Had to get up and take the gift card to her to get it taken off my bill. I wasn't totally thrilled about the experience. Server could have been better but you never know what someone may be going through. Maybe she was just having an off day.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch today and Kira took care of us. She was/is very friendly and attentive! She made our quick meal that much more great.

The food was very disappointing. It tasted nasty, chicken was way overcooked to the point of hard and stringy. The restaurant was very busy and kind of loud. The server was the only positive that we take away from that experience. I think his name was Cody, very sweet human being. He had SO many tables to cover all on his own but it held it down perfectly!! Props to him. I will have to really think about if I would want to return but I'm open for another try ( maybe)

Good place to stop and eat with the family, or to have larger gatherings (8-10 people) for a meal and camaraderie. The restaurant is clean, has good service, and is in a good location off the highway. The food is OK. The fish was a bit dry, and the green beans were severely salty - I love salt, but this was an extreme.The salads were good and the tomatoes were fresh - tasty ranch dressing.

Waiter was nice to say the least. My el patron I had to send back. It tasted pre mixed and it was not patron. Appetizers were good. My son enjoyed his chicken sandwich. My fish dish was just ok. Nothing to brag on.

Been waiting to eat here for a minute but what a disappointment!!! Bone-in ribeye is just like something you get at ihop!!it was terrible. The size was terrible, the thickness (you can't call that ribeye), it definitely lacks seasonings. Just awful. And to top it off the baked potato was also terrible! I mean who can mess up backed potatoes? It was so small, and so overcooked, not even worth a dime. Ribs were dry, and the chicken tender tastes frozen! Idk if it is though because everything is supposed to be fresh here right? But it wasn't good. The whole restaurant was empty and they seated us on top of each other and we had to move. The host was RUDE, she had an attitude of unhappiness. Why put her in front of the house. Worse decision you guys can make! Tuesday Oct 31st at 7:30pm She acted so bothered when we walked in like "Urgh go away" attitude on her. No smile! Just resting bitch face! The server was ok. She was nice but also kinda immature. Came back twice the whole time we were there. But she also complains about unnecessary stuff to us. Like I said just immature and not professional. Definitely WOULD NOT come back here. Not even when they pay me to do so. what a disappointment experience.

Food is great waitress was sweet and helpful and the location is easy to get to, definitely my go to place

I I have not been to cheddars since I was a teenager. I'm 50 years old now.! I was so excited my son was taking me to eat there today. We receded in 15 minutes, had passed with no drinks not even any kind of service.! I wouldn't be able to tell you how the food taste because I never got to eat there. We decided to leave and go next-door to Texas roadhouse and got service immediately.!! thank you Texas Roadhouse for being next-door

The spinach dip is really good! The bad reviews on here must be from service because for the price I think the food is good. We usually just get chicken fried steak.
