This is THE grocery store in the Fort! It's truly the BEST in every department: quality of produce, quality of meats, quality of seafood, quality of wine and beer selection, quality of coffee selection, quality of breads, quality of cheeses, quality of in-house made hot items... if you haven't caught the trend it's just PURE QUALITY everywhere! Plus, you can try anything in the store. All you have to do is ask an employee and they will happily get you a sample. It's unbelievable! Which takes me to the people that work here, they are just the BEST too. They wear proud smiles with helpful hearts. Finally, the layout of this grocery store is one of my favorites. It just flows so well. It makes your shopping experience feel like a little circuit track. I love slowly zooming through it. :D___________RANDOM FUN FACT: I actually take friends and family here when they come visit from out of state. Now, I don't know if I'm just surrounded by a bunch of grocery store nerds like myself but it consistently ranks as one of their top moments of the trip haha. ;D

Met a friend to join in on Central Markets 30th anniversary celebration. What a well organized stroll. Unfortunately we missed the chance to get tickets as they sold out quick! So we didn't score the reusable shopping bag, $10 coupon, a private upstairs event & other goodies that they gave away with the tickets. However anyone coming into the store could enjoy the stroll so we jumped right in. Store was organized and well stocked as always. The staff were very engaging, knowledgeable of the product or wine that they were sampling. It was visible they were well prepared for the influx of shoppers coming in for the festivities. Samples at each turn in the store. A lot of fun signs and set ups just for the 30th celebration. Fun things like "where were you in this year.." or "write your favorite Central Market memory/food"We enjoyed many samples as we made our way around. Although a bit more crowded than usual it never felt over packed or overwhelming. Also noticed the upgraded deck/patio on the way out. Will definitely be back when it cools down to enjoy it.

The worst lobster Mac and cheese ever tried . My Dad paid $50.00 for 2 small containers. It tasted like bad catfish. I'll never buy another item from this company.

I love EVERYTHING about central market. The employees are so friendly and I never feel bad about overspending because WHAT budget?! I'm literally in heaven on earth when I'm here. I had my 1st not so pleasant experience at the wine bar. I walked up to look at the non alcoholic spirits and made a comment to the blonde lady sitting behind the counter and she kept eating her snack and didn't even acknowledge me. Looked right through me like I was invisible so I just turned and walked off. No way was I going to let that ruin my shopping trip. I got all my goodies I went specifically for and then some. Look forward to my next grocery haul.

Wow, I was blown away by the meat counter and seafood counter. The smells at both were of fresh seafood and meat and no bleach smell that is typical of most grocery stores. The selection of imported food items was also remarkable. Best I have seen since I lived in Manhattan and I have been all over the US. This place is dangerous because there are too many yummy temptations and prices are expensive too. I picked up a bunch of hard to find delicious cookies, filet mignon and some veggies, and dairy. Nice selection of dairy products. The only section I was disappointed in was the fruits and vegetables. There was a large selection but I would rather have a hyper local fresh section than a bunch of stuff from far away that doesn't look fresh.

Past time for an update. Central Market is my favorite grocery store in the metroplex. My one and only complaint (that doesn't really even count) is that it gets so crowded, but duh, everyone loves it here. It's not exactly the biggest store so it fills up quickly. I always want to leisurely stroll each aisle, so I don't come during peak traffic! Lunchtime can be especially busy because of the cafe and fresh chef-prepared food section, where anyone can find a delicious version of something they love to eat. During my last dine-in visit, I had delicious tomato bisque, this Mediterranean salad that I loooove made with salami, cheese, and peppers, a bag of Central Market waffle-cut potato chips, and a bottle of Tempranillo Blanco from the refrigerated drink section. Jon had an enormous quesadilla, cilantro lime rice, cream of mushroom soup, and some canned beer. All reasonably priced and it's so fun to put your own lunch together. We ate outside on the patio because the weather was fair, which we all know is rare. After lunch we strolled through the market because it wasn't crowded. We could spend forever browsing produce but I'm always especially in awe of the cheese department and bakery. There are just so many beautiful cheeses and this insane variety of gorgeous breads and pastries. Central Market focuses on featuring local goods and I love how they really lean into the holidays and celebrations of so many different cultures. I always learn something new, like recently I learned what Colomba di Pasqua is (it's a sweet Italian traditional Easter bread). The floral department is also a must-see every visit. It smells incredible and the flowers are stunning. They have some really lovely affordable bouquets and you can also put your own arrangements together, they sell plenty of flowers by the stem.

5 stars for the store bc I LOVE it! 3 stars for their cafeteria area. There are so many things with horrible ingredients: caramel color, canola oil, bioengineered food ingredient( what is that!!!?). We came here specifically for lunch and ended up getting nothing bc we couldn't find anything with clean ingredients. It's very unfortunate that you can't trust a store like central market to make your food with quality ingredients especially for the price point! We still got some ice cream while we were there. If there is nothing healthy to eat you might as well indulge in ice cream!! It was way way too sweet however! We got the s'mores one. Their lemon cookie one is super good though.
