Wtf Backyard! $15 for a Long Island. that is insane. Booooo!!!!! How are we supposed to have fun in this recession. And! The ticket said gates open at 6:00 event at 7:00. At 7:30 they played like 2 games and the first band didn't come on until after 8:00. The main band didn't come on until after 9:00!We came early to get food at Texas live but Geash I could have gotten food at 7:00 and not been worried about getting in for the band to start at 7:00. instead we got food at 5:00. To come in at 6:00 to find a good place to stand and watch the band but didn't hear a band for 2 hours.... How are w you going to start that late. The ticket lead me to believe the main event was at 7:00 not after 9:00. And I'm angry bc I'm not drunk bc I can't afford yalls drinksWriting this review is the most entertainment I had in the first 4 hours waiting for the band. All in all it was fun. But get the timing right. It was one star but Giovanni and the Hired guns did such a good show I'll bump it up since it was worth the wait. But I'm still disappointed that nothing started on time.

We have been to two country band concerts at Arlington Backyard and I really like the venue. It is outdoors with big ceiling fans so the air moves around. There is over hang so if it is raining you can stay dry in most of the place. You have general admission which is the way to go you can get pretty close to the front. The very front is a reserved seating. On the second floor it cost more but if you do not get on the rail you cannot see anything. Do not get second floor unless you go early and get a rail seat. Or what we did is go downstairs to general admission. You have plenty of bars for drinks and beer 10 dollars for beer but it is a large beer. You can go into Live and other restaurants just make sure you get a wrist stamp. The sound is very good it is loud but fun you will have hearing loss one day like me. The first band we saw had a large video screen it was great. The second time no video screen not good. The only bad thing I saw was getting into the venue they have a very long line to go through metal detectors. This is dumb you can go all over the place inside Live, all the restaurants everywhere no body stops you or searches you. But to go into the Backyard you have to get searched. Parking is free at this time to the east of the place. Not free during Ranger games.

We finally got to check out this new concert venue Arlington Backyard. It's an open air venue so I can see it getting hot in the summer. It was pouring down rain when we were there and a little of the water kept blowing in on us but no enough to worry about. We paid a little extra to be in the Mezzanine section but if you do not get there early enough to get one of the rail seats, you will be at one of the tables and not able to see the stage. We finally went down to the general admission area and enjoyed our concert. There were plenty of bars downstairs to handle the crowd but here's a hint, everyone was in line at the downstairs bars and no one was upstairs. 10 minute wait downstairs and 1 minute wait upstairs.I'm looking forward to our next visit now that we know more about this venue.

Attended the World of Art Show. It was very small but expected since it was the first year. It was nice with a variety of vendors, live music and plenty of places to eat.

Good venue, good show, good ticket prices, but there was so much misinformation. The website, ticket purchase site, and printed tickets all had conflicting information. And when i called for clarification, the information i was given was apparently wrong, because we arrived to find the opposite of what i was told. Glad for another good local venue, but hoping they work out the kinks. This place has a lot of potential.

Went to see the Toadies last night and they were AWESOME! I'm an average concert-goer and this was hands down the best music venue I've ever been to. Acoustics were amazing. The band was amazing. And the venue was super cool. I'm normally not a whiskey girl, but the bartender convinced me to try the Balcone Baby Blue whiskey so I put my big girl panties on and tried it. Absolutely no regrets. All in all, I had a great time last night and will definitely be returning.

Great sound quality and viewing space! You can get right up by the stage or pre-order a table! Plus they have 2x jumbo screens on each side of the stage for more visibility!

This was my third concert here since opening and the first during colder weather. The first two concerts were great. Good view of the bands, excellent sound and lots of fun. Huge fans overhead kept air circulating and the heat wasn't overwhelming. This last concert was a miserable arctic experience. Yes, it's outside but the wind whips through there, and you're standing in a frozen tundra unable to feel you face, fingers or feet. No heaters at all. No way to get out of the wind. Even body heat from the crowd didn't help. Great place to go and good bands but warm weather only for me from now on.

Came here to see Heart Attack Man and Taking Back Sunday. I must say, even though the venue is open so there's not much cool air, I loved it. The entrance line was easy and quick. Once you're in you have endless choices of bars and restaurants to go to before the show.We were in the general admission section, but we got there early so we were at the front of the pit. I will say standing for almost 5 hours was rough but SO WORTH IT BECAUSE THE SHOW WAS INSANE! Taking Back Sunday put on the best performance I've ever seen and it seemed as though everyone was just as passionate about their music as I was. I even received a free gift card to the Miller Lite restaurant and I forgot to use it. Hopefully I can use it in the future.I'm looking forward to my next visit to this venue!

Fun venue but what kind of "wine mixer" runs out of Cabernet within the first 2 hours? Wasted out 3 out of 5 tokens we payed for so they get 3 out of 5 stars.
