Cat City Grill

They don't make restaurants like this anymore.This place was absolutely fantastic. 10/10 would recommend. Everyone from the host to the management has such great personalities. The service is amazing. The place has an old school fine dining vibe. The place looks small but actually has plenty of seating. Warm cozy feels. Seating by window off of the side walk. It's definitely a dream. All of the food that came out of the kitchen was very delicious. You can tell the chef and staff have a love for food. The lobster bisque was the best I have ever had. So creamy and flavorful. Both entrees were 10/10. Beef stroganoff was full of flavor and very hearty. The mushroom sauce that it was served with was probably the my favorite thing I ate. The Ossobuco (veal) was very tender and came with a surprise bone marrow. Which was very flavorful. The potatoes with it was sitting in a broth sauce and gave the potatoes so much more that kept us craving for more. We dared to order dessert. The cinnamon roll cheesecake dessert was very delicious. We couldn't stop eating it even though we were so full. The lemon cake was dry so we didn't eat much of it but the lemon cream icing was very good. Overall this is a great place to have a nice dinner. Everything was great and we would definitely come back.

Cat City Grill is a neighborhood restaurant in Near Southside in Fort Worth. I love this place, everyone is super nice and they remember you and what you like. The food is American, specializing in steaks and Chicken Fried Steak. Happy Hour is always a good time, we love sitting at the bar and chatting with friends. I definitely recommend!

Amazing atmosphere, like family. Clean restrooms delicious food on par with an upscale restaurant....STRONG drinks and superb service. Everyone here is lovely, customers and employees alike

We just hosted a retirement party for a friend and Cat City knocked it out of the park!They provided us a delicious brunch of eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, corn tortillas, fruit, and so much more! And of course brunch adult beverages! Thank you to Cat City for a perfect party!

This was a great experience!! Hunter our server was very attentive (kept my tea FULL!!!).He offered the Meat Ball sandwich special and it was delicious.My wife had the BBLT And it was also great.Food was hot and fresh when it arrived at the table. The fries were too hot to eay at first. But were delicious.I recommend this restaurant highly, and I will return one daySteve N.

Great experience, greeting, service, brunch was the best, the Bloody Mary's a must. Love the atmosphere, view by the window, all the great puppies/dogs and their parents walking by, stopping for treats and a drink of water. Can't wait to go back for Brunch!

I so looked forward to Brunch with friends. We arrived early 10:30. The Bloody Mary's were excellent and only $3. I ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict. They were very good except not quite warm enough. I ate them anyway and they were tasty. My fellow had the Chicken Fried Steak. We expected the best but were some disappointed. The batter was soft and not as crisp as expected. The eggs tasted like they may have been powdered. The Waffle Fries were not rewarding. But with two Bloody Mary's I'm happy.

I have to give them only two stars because this is the second time we've been there for brunch. Both times our Eggs Benedict came out room temp. That pretty much ruins eggs benedict. Service is pretty good, but I want my food hot. Probably won't return.

Last night's visit to Cat City Grill was not great. They left a lot to be desired. Service was the bare minimum, the drunks were out in full force, which is never pleasant for sober guests, such as ourselves. It's mostly a place for alcoholics to socialize and more like a meat market than a nice venue for a date. The food was OK but very overpriced. It was close to 100.00 for a couple of appetizers and my husband's chicken fried steak and a small dessert. Ridiculous.
