Carnitas y Barbacoa el Guero

Huge fan of YouTuber and Los Angeles taco legend Mexi Papa. Seen he went here and loved the pace. Had to go. Was way worth it! My favorite was the Carnitas. Very good flavor. Will be back!

Absolutely the BEST in DFW. No one else even comes close. All the freshness and all the authenticity. The flavor of the Barbacoa was incredibly refreshing. Do NOT pass this one up!

Fresh meat and fresh handmade tortillas. Felt a bit like home for the first time. Super fast service and food was out QUICK! Ambiance was just like home and had live music.

I really liked it even if its hard to find a table or parking its super full sometimes but the food i have always ordered is good i recommend

They tasted pretty good... tacos were cold, made me burp nasty all day, & gave me really bad heartburns though ..I did like the the fact that they had hand made tortillas ! I think the meat was maybe too greasy for me or idk...

It is located in an unusual spot. As I kept following the map, I kept wondering if I was headed in the right direction but I finally got there and the long was line because it was getting close to lunch hour. I ordered the three taco plate with rice and beans for $7.99 and a large pineapple water. The tacos were one each: beef tongue (lengua), beef tripe (tripa) and beef head (cabeza). I did ask for a soft beef tripe but it was hard and crunchy so I was not too happy with that one. The other two were tasty and I enjoyed them. Red and green salsa were extremely spicy/hot so I'm glad I tried them before adding them to my food. The rice and beans were a 2.5/5, nothing special. My favorite was the pineapple drink. While I will not be rushing over there to get more food anytime soon, I may be back one day to try something else. Overall, I give it a 3.5/5

Oh, it was so good. I had gorditas (fat corn tortillas) con costilla en mole (rib meat in chili sauce). Was not hot. The meat is so tender. The best flavor. My friend had three tacos, each one with a different kind of meat. She got costilla, asada, and al pastor. Came with rice and beans. I have to go back. I have to try the chicharrones en salsa verde

I come here Atleast once a week love the tacos carnitas mixtas.. it gets pretty packed during lunch time , they do their best to be fast and efficient!

I guess you have to be Mexican to really appreciate this cooking. I love authentic Mexican cuisine and this was not for me. No flavor. Tortillas were not to be desired. Plus .... I felt out of place and not welcome. Broke my heart cuz I thought I stumbled on a hidden treasure. So sad....
