My mom and I went to buy Barbacoa on Sunday . I was happy with the friendly prompt service I got from the carniceros. The girls at the register on a scale of 1-5 5 being best - they get a 2.5. Not friendly , or approachable, or nice. I am very bubbly and outgoing and super polite to workers but even my personality didn't break their clear unhappiness to be there. I get that a lot with Hispanic folk tho. So Idk if maybe they clash with me or what - but service should be happy service and egos, personal problems, or opinions about people should be left at home when delivering customer service. I recommend they get training on how to deliver great customer service. The barbacoa was phenomenal ! 8/ 10 ! I got rajas con queso tamales thinking they would be delicious but I was very disappointed. They were made Salvadorean style and I wish I would have know because I would of opted out. Please let customers know before they ask about them because it's a very distinct flavor and super different from a Mexican Tamale, which is what I was yearning for. As far as groceries - I'll be honest - I did see variety on Mexican product but no ideas on if prices are good or not .

This location provides some of the best marinated carne asada in the DFW area. Prices are always fair and employees are very welcoming. Contrary to the previous review left by the entitled Karen(Michelle M)below me who should instead learn another language. If you want a truly authentic Mexican Carniceria experience visit Carniceria La Superior.
