The best crawfish in the area hands down. All tails curled to a tee! Came with some corn and potatoes with an adult plate and the ability to add more seasoning as well, however it didn't need it. They nailed the perfect amount of seasoning. If you see the Crawfish truck somewhere, don't miss out and stop. well worth standing in a short line. The owner also supports local animal rescues which is a huge plus.

Disappointing. Bought boiled crawfish. Too many dead crawfish. Some crawfish are salty and some are bland. This tells me that they only boil them then sprinkle the seasoning on the crawfish then toss them. Crawfish must be soaked to taste right.Never order again.

I purchased a 30 lb sack for a boil with my family. My sack contained around 40 dead ones, which I suppose isn't a horrible ratio but also seemed pretty suboptimal. Although I purchased the "washed" crawdads, they still needed three good washings before they were clean enough to eat. Price point was pretty reasonable and the sizes were all great. Pickup was simple and service was friendly. I'd like to give them another go before looking for supply elsewhere!

I have to apologize... Cajun Crawfish has been my go to place for crawfish for years. I have always been satisfied with the quality of the crawfish. Well I tried another place today and I am sorry I did. The crawfish were old smelly and A LOT of dead one. The place I purchased them from is a well known Cajun restaurant, who now is selling live crawfish(or they were supposed to be a live). Lesson learned, David and ladies, I am sorry. I'll be back for my crawfish every-time from now on.

First time using Cajun Crawfish Company and couldn't be happier. Crawfish had great size, absolute monster mud bugs! Only had about 2 or 3 dead ones in the entire 15Lb bag. This place is a gold mine, take care of it! I'll be back for more soon!

Amazing service and always transparent about what you are getting. Dont have to worry about your order not being there! The boiled pick ups are the best crawfish you can get. Always soaked and not sprinkled. The seasoning is just enough heat to get your nose running while letting you feast.

We purchased from this company many times and even recommended them to several friends and family. However, it seems their quality and customer service has begun to decline significantly. We picked up a 15 lb sack on 6/5/2022 around 10:30am. Once we got home to clean the crawfish, I discovered that nearly half of the sack was dead.I spoke with Angie about the issue, and she accused me of "drowning" the crawfish. I explained that they had only been in water for about 20 minutes, and I called as soon as I realized that there was an issue. She then gave a lecture about how the crawfish should only be rinsed in the sack and don't need to be purged. I told her we had a difference of opinion because many people purge crawfish without killing them. Especially if they are only submerged briefly in flowing water. After this, she gave me David's number (the owner) to speak with him about the issue.David gave me the same lecture about purging crawfish, and I similarly disagreed. After a bit of back and forth, with many contentious remarks from David about how I must have received a "miracle" sack, David reluctantly agreed to provide us with half of a 15 lb sack to replace what was lost.I arrived around 11:45am to pick up the new crawfish from Angie. She gave me the crawfish and began to lecture me again about how the crawfish only need to be rinsed in the sack. I told her that I disagree, and I would not be following her recommendations. I suggested again that we could agree to disagree. She then asked if I had read the LSU (Louisiana State University) study about purging crawfish and stated that she and David have been in this business for 25 years, so they know what they are doing. I responded that I did not read the study, but I and many others have prepared crawfish for 25 years without killing half of a sack. She then condescendingly told me to "Enjoy your free crawfish".Angie, please be aware that we paid for 15 lb of LIVE crawfish. In response to their adamant stance on not purging crawfish I took this opportunity to review the LSU study and investigate their claims. The study is titled "Effectiveness of saltwater bath in purging crawfish". We do not use salt, but the study also used fresh water to compare the effects. The study actually found that purging crawfish in a water bath aids in removing mud/debris and results in less gut content than non-washed crawfish. It confirms that the effects of purging the crawfish are beneficial, and it also addresses the effects of water baths on crawfish mortality. The study states, "Less than 1 percent of dead crawfish were observed immediately after the water bath, and these may have been simply due to handling." This study disproves David and Angie's claims, but the last section suggests that improper handling of crawfish is a common cause of death. But what are some common ways crawfish can be mishandled? Let's find out.Another document published by LSU titled "Enjoying Louisiana Crawfish" has a section that addresses the "Care of [live] crawfish at home before preparation". This section states that we should "protect [crawfish] from exposure to the sun and from being crushed." With this quote in mind let's recall that pick up here is from 9-11am, and the sacks of crawfish are left out in the parking lot exposed to the sun on a hot summer day. We can all agree that leaving crawfish in the sun for over 1.5 hours is a much more effective method of killing crawfish than submerging them in water for 20 minutes.David stated that he is considering adding a disclaimer on the website about killing crawfish through purging to avoid dealing with deadloss issues. I hope this review helps others that are falsely accused of "drowning" crawfish.David and Angie, your opinion that purging crawfish will kill them is not accurate. Stop spreading misinformation and blaming customers to avoid taking accountability for improperly handling your crawfish. I expected much better from this company, and I am disappointed in the ill-informed, condescending attitude I received from both of you.

I purchased the 15lb "Washed and Graded" live crawfish sack from them. All of the crawfish were a perfect size and alive. As I was washing off the crawfish, I noticed the water was kinda dark, so I decided to soak the crawfish in freshwater for 20 minutes. The water turned very murky/muddy looking.I emailed them asking why was the water so dirty, if I purchased the "Washed" sack, but they never responded to me. If I still have to wash/purge the crawfish, I might as well pay a cheaper price at another location.

First time ordering live crawfish to cook at home. I contacted David because on the website, it didn't give me an option to order 15 pounds. He was kind enough to contact the distributor and order 15 pounds for the next day. I picked up the crawfish at his warehouse, and he was very kind to walk me through the cooking instructions and give me pointers. I 100% recommend ordering from David.
