"came here while on a work trip after it being recommended by a friend.highly would recommend this spot. the service was great - the gentlemen that waited me kept checking in to make sure i was okay. complimentary bread was good.the wagyu beef meatballs were good but i had a unique taste, not sure if it was the gravy that added to it. had the cesar salad as a app as well before i had my bone in ribe-eye which was cooked perfectly medium rare with a side of truffle oil mushrooms. food was very good. the ambiance was classic new york style dark dining room. afterwards took a visit to their cigar lounge for a nice after dinner cigar."

This evening we went and our third course was running behind and the manager apologized and comped us our entire meal. We were fine just sitting and chatting but they insisted on making it up to us. They asked us what else we wanted for the night and my husband jokingly said he wanted a puppy and the restaurant manager actually brought us a puppy stuffed animal at the end of dinner. To say that the thing I most enjoyed was the salmon and meats and cheeses from the salad bar. Very disappointing, I expected better food."

"I originally found this steakhouse on a random google search when my fiancé and I visited Dallas 3 years ago, and I'm so glad I stumbled across it! Of course the bill is pricey, but that is the expectation when dining at an upscale restaurant. The complimentary valet parking, the elevator entrance, the piano, and the waterfall all give this restaurant that extra push towards a lavish experience. If the food wasn't reason enough to come here, the staff is just as incredible. Everyone is helpful and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. They decorated the table for our anniversary, took lots of photos for us, and even ran after us when I left a souvenir I purchased earlier behind at our table. Whenever we have family in town and we want to make them feel like royalty, we take them to Dakota's."

Hangry! That is the mood I got myself into after not eating for so long. The husband and I decided to drop by here at 4:00 without realizing that they didn't open for another hour so we kill time by going to Dillard's down the street. Once waiting and getting here the ambiance was quaint. Not too warm, and not too cold! You'll need a light jacket if you're running on the frigid side. Were greeted by our server Adelino and that was one of the last times seeing him besides him dropping and picking up the check. Everyone else was solid; the food? Delicious. A little salty but it works out. There's a nice fat cap on a bunch of the items so it retains that extra flavor and juiciness. But why the 3 stars raj? There was a server with an electric fly swatter and he was doing it over and around the bar where drinks were being sent out. Please by the love of god do that not in service and in front of guests. I suppose what really got me and rubbed me the wrong way was of an auto gratuity when it was just a simple date night between eyad and I. If I hadn't had seen it, I would've tipped the average 25%. But oh well, you lose some and the server definitely lost that extra 5%. -should shrug- we paid and left but just be cautious and weary."

The restaurant itself is very nice inside, shortly after being seated we were pleasantly surprised to be greeted at our table by the executive chef to wish a happy birthday and bring us an amuse bouche! What an awesome gesture, a little later the restaurant manager also came by our table to greet us and wish a happy birthday. Our server was also fantastic.I ordered the 18oz bone in NY strip steak which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had a nice crust on the outside, my girlfriend ordered the jumbo gulf shrimp with lump crab meat and an accompaniment of scallops, she said everything was delicious but especially the scallops, as a side we ordered the black truffle mac and cheese which was so so good and full of flavor!The top tier service and hospitality is what earned Eddie V's this 5 star review, I would absolutely recommend Eddie V's to anyone especially for any special occasions!"

The service was incredible, our drinks were consistently refilled without ever feeling intrusive. The menu is simple but I would love to be able to try more! I loved the flavored butter on my filet. The vegetables were very fresh, definitely not canned. I wish I had gotten the squash side, it looked amazing! The wedge salad is a very good size, most dishes come with 2 sides and a roll. I had the pecan pie that came with homemade whipped cream for dessert. This place would be a reason for me to go back to Texas! It was the only place we found that had actual soul to it (most of our time was spent in Dallas suburbs)."

I almost gave up, but there were people waiting for me at the restaurant and I finally arrived to the dedicated parking lot reserved for Dino's. When I get there, I head upstairs, very rustic and old steak house vibes. Wine was already served, so I get a glass poured. We chat, appetizers come out, and salads. Everything was very delicious. The main course, the steak was like butter. I ordered an old fashioned. Single ice cube, perfectly crafted. We had chocolate cake for dessert. Decadent, not too sweet. If I had this for my last meal, I'd be happy."
