"First review for 2025, and it's dedicated to my favorite lunch place. Blue Goose is a pretty popular dine in spot around noon on a weekday. However, the service is fast and efficient. We're immediately seated. Drinks are refilled. The food comes out in a jiffy after you order. We're not sweating over being late to return to work.They provide complimentary chips and salsa. We added the queso as an appetizer, and it was a delicious addition. There's a lunch menu that applies from 11am-4pm on weekdays. My coworker and I both went for the lunch mesquite grilled fajitas. Let's just simply say we couldn't finish everything. We barely touched the charro beans since we were so full. The corn tortillas were also very good. Another favorite of mine is their enchiladas. I love that they are also available on Uber eats and DoorDash, making it convenient to order when you're too busy to step inside the restaurant."

The servers are friendly but made some mistakes with our order and weren't very attentive.Food:- Caesar Salad: Run-of-the-mill, though the spiced croutons were nice.- Tomato Soup: Tasty, savory, and sweet. Would order again!- Chips and Curry Sauce: The chips were nice, but the curry sauce was just cold tikka masala, not the traditional chip shop curry sauce.- Sticky Toffee Pudding: A bit dry, and we wished the toffee sauce was soaked in more. The custard on the side seemed like whipping cream with sugar. "Service was good- quick, on top of things but not overbearing. The kinds of pizza they offer are fun and the flavors were good. We ordered the white, pulled pork, and brisket pizzas. They offer a gluten free option, too, which was a plus. My complaints about the pizzas were that the crust did not seem to be homemade. They looked/felt/tasted like the premade ones you can buy at a grocery store. They also could have been cooked a little longer- the crust was still pale and floppy. And they were very, very greasy. Like grease was literally running down my arm when I picked up a slice. My brother in law ordered some naked wings, though, and those were outstanding. Without the wings, I probably would have given them 3 stars. I don't know that I would go back for the pizza again, but I would very enthusiastically order more wings from them."

"This place gets packed, so I made a reservation. It feels kinda expensive to pay 100 for a little table, but I got a table for 4 and 2 and they were great seats, right by the live band. Tables were together which I was worried about because I couldn't get in touch with anyone, but they were clean, reserved and ready when I got there. The lady at the door was super nice and guided me to my seat with no problems. If you're only going with like 1 or 2 people, you might can just come and get a seat. But I was with a group, so a reservation was our best bet. It's more of an older vibe. It was nice to have both the band play and switch out with the dj. It was a good balance and a nice mixture of old school and todays music (mostly old school which I love). Plus, the DJ took song request! Cheese sticks were good, hot and fresh. The wings were good. Friends got loaded fries, I wasn't a fan, but they liked them. Drinks weren't too strong, but still good. Ordered the Long Island, lemon drop shot and green tea shot. I heard the strawberry henney was strong. The lemon drop was a little sour. I would come back to this place. I really enjoyed it. The service was really good, even with them being super busy. They were pretty attentive.The only thing I didn't like was that they never answered the phone. So if you expect to get in touch with someone, don't.Also, it was very hot, felt like no AC was on. There were fans, but you couldn't feel anything. (And a dust mite fell on our table )Regardless, everything else turned out to be great! I will still be coming back."

"First let me start with reviewing Shakes in general. I have visited all of their locations around the metroplex and I enjoy them all. While they differ a bit based on the neighborhood, one thing you can count on is the service and food/drink quality. This location is unique because of the location. They can be extremely if there an event taking place at any of the stadiums. With that being said they still do an amazing job at taking care of the guest. Ally in particular is an assets to this location and one of the reasons I keep coming back. She is always in a great mood, even when customers are being difficult. She is the type of person who remembers what you like but also treats everyone as a regular with fantastic service. My favorite day to visit it Taco Tuesday! With this economy everyone can appreciate a $1 taco!! Ally is sure to make my cheat night a great one but not feel guilty about it!"

"This "hole in the wall" is somewhat of a hidden gem. It is a sports bar with multiple television monitors all around the room. We arrived on a Sunday evening, and there was not much of a crowd. Our server was prompt, friendly, and knew the menu. She did not need to write down the orders, and everything was correct. There were three of us. The food was probably about four star Tavern food. What made this five stars is the service, and how we were cared for. One person in our party had a burger. Another member had 10 wings and fries. I had the fish and chips. All were prepared to our liking with no complaints at all. For my fish and chips, which came with hush puppies, and two IPAs the cost was just over $21. I would expected to pay closer to $35 or $40 for the meal. Our server received a tip, which was commensurate with how she performed. Another words, it was a really good tip. I wish I had gotten her name so it could be mentioned in this review."

"Happy to have this new addition so close to home!! Bartonville store is always very busy and always felt like going but they have so many people in a small area. Them and Marty Bs are the only local places I can rely on for live music so this new addition is great!!! Reasonably priced GOOD food. They didn't shy from the topping on the pizza, it was a thinner crust type and (as a pizza-snob) it was delish! I was a little surprised they only had 4 beers on tap but still a fully stocked bar so you'll find something you like. Patio is dog friendly. Plenty parking. A little family reunion with kids when we went so seemed real family friendly as well. Can't wait for the live music to start up. Will be going again. Great addition and I think they'll do real well."

"For the first week of business...they are running very smooth and efficient. We had amazing service & the food was way better than I expected for a "Bar & Grill" type restaurant. We had the Italian nachos (minus peppers cause I am allergic) they were everything I had hoped for. The pretzels bites are not a normal baked bite...they had a great salty butter dipping and served with a great white queso. Our mains were a knock out of the park..,The BIG REX BURGER...is HUGE!!! Short rib was tender and delicious!!! Chicken fried steak was tender and the very homemade gravy was a plus!!! We will be back in the regular....great atmosphere for the sports fan in your life!!"

"Lot 12 is perfect for football game days. You can't beat the space with the rooftop views and they have live music. During the TCU football season, expect it to be packed inside and outside. If you're wanting to watch a game, note that there are only two tvs outside and one is slightly blacked out due to the amount of sun rays. There are many lounge areas to choose from to chat with friends.During the summer months, they serve coconut mojitos that are delicious. I highly recommend those!If you're staying at the hotel or just want a rooftop bar outside of football season, expect Lot 12 to have a much more chill vibe with fewer people. I am a little surprised that more people don't come here because when the weather is nice, you cannot beat the outside area.Lot 12 does have a good looking light bites menu, but they can be low on ingredients some times. For example, my wedge salad arrived as a spinach salad and they did not warn me in advance. Check with your waiter that they have all the ingredients ;) I did really like the chipotle chicken quesadilla.Overall, Lot 12 is an excellent bar choice for rooftop views, outdoor seating, good drinks and light bites."

A great place to unwind!If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, this may not be a good option, also make sure to have your ID out and ready to be checked by the person at the front door."

I see the right amount and then there's another one for $1 which honestly... it's only a $1 but that is never ok.The bar is in a "shady" part of Fort Worth and I cannot bring myself to get a drink here by myself. Always with a group or somebody else to keep tabs on each other. Beers are cold and cheap and service is always with a smile. This is what you may call a "my neighborhood bar" if you live in the area. It's pretty far to call it that for me."

The patio at Maple Landing perfectly faces the take off path of Southwest Airlines. The service is incredible. No sooner than seated, our beverage orders were taken. Some great suggestions were offered. They had brisket sausage. Yes, for brunch. I had the fluffiest french toast, with a ginormous pile of the plumpest, juiciest fresh blueberries ever. My eggs were a perfect over medium. My son ordered pancakes. To be honest, as big as they were, one would have been plenty. Super light, rose high enough to block a planes take off. Topped with caramalized bananas, nothing needed syrup. Best of all was the service. Every aspect of this experience was 6 star. Yelp has kind of spoiled me. I know know what to expect, and where to find it. The food and service was 5 star. The patio view of others flying off to great adventures earned a 6th star. Hope you each make it out here to experience this for yourselves."

"I admit I was hesitant at first to go into the place. It really is t the most inviting storefront. But the reviews were great and I was hungry for wings so I took a deep breath and decided to take my chances.Upon entering the place was rustic but sparkling clean. It definitely feels more like a bar than restaurant. The fantastic staff greeted me warmly and made me feel at home. I was seated at a small table and reviewed the small menu. (Note that I prefer places with somewhat limited menus. They focus more on quality dishes than doing everything mediocre.)I settled on wings and their two piece catfish platter with fries. I watched several sports channels as I waited for my lunch. The meal took a bit to come out, but again I find this as a sign of the quality of the food. When it did come out I was impressed. The catfish was true catfish with that very slightly muddy taste real wild catfish have. Served with a sauce and hot sauce and was crispy, flaky and not at all greasy. Fries were great. Crisp with fluffy centers.I got the Parmesan Garlic wings and enjoyed them. As well.My server was wonderful. Friendly and attentive without hovering. A good price for a meal I couldn't finish. One thing to note is they don't have brewed iced tea but a full bar and sodas. Don't let the scary storefront keep you from having a wonderful meal."
