"Every time we have come it's been great. The service and the food. The ribs are good. Had the catfish fingers very good. The hush puppies amazing! The fries are really good too! Not sure why there aren't more people here. We came on a Saturday at 5pm. No wait and no one was here."
"As a part of my pre-birthday celebration, we decided to stay in Arlington. It is a really nice ambiance. The wait for food was a little lengthy but I understand that good help is hard to find. My friend ordered the Chicken and Waffles. Great taste, even better with warmed syrup. I ordered Shrimp and Grits w/ a side of bacon. The bacon was cooked just the way I like it. The grilled shrimp in the grits were okay. However, the gravy on the grits had a cajun flare but the grits were bland. Also, there were baby shrimp, onions, and corn kernels in the Grits. Not a fan of all of that. I didn't taste any cheese in the Grits. Maybe the lunch/dinner will be better. Oh by the way, you can't order anything other than the combinations on the menu. For example, I only wanted the fried boneless chicken to take home but I had to order chicken and waffles because their register wasn't set up to separate items."

"So I started typing a play by play of my awkward and embarrassing encounter today, but I'll spare y'all the details. I decided to come in super early, because after reading some reviews I wanted to avoid peak times due to it being a new business with freshly trained staff. Well, I was charged my total transaction, because the young lady at the counter did not understand that I was here for the Yelp event. I told her multiple times and even explained to her what the event included. It was so awkward. A manager came over and resolved the problem. Maybe leave a sticky note at the register? I'm glad there wasn't a line behind me.The food was delicious. The five and dime was everything... crispy bacon, fried egg, cheddar cheese, and moist fried chicken breast between tender biscuits then smothered in gravy. The potatoes o brien was bomb! Loved everything about it. I opted for the iced caramel toffee crunch latte. It was really sweet for me but good. Training needs some ironing out, but the staff and manager were all friendly. Overall solid food. As always thanks Kendall, Yelp, and MSBC for this event. This is a "I was here" review since I didn't get to officially checked in."
"Had an amazing time tucked away in the beautiful gem! Big fan of their friend chicken family style! Come hungry, feeds for a few with about 10 pieces half and half mixed in! Thickly coated and perfectly seasoned, each bite will melt your heart! Very cozy setting, with open kitchen! You can see their lovely staff cleaning, preparing, and serving all right there! Lovely area at the bar, with great service from Oscar! He is absolutely the best! Ensure to see him if you go! The deviled eggs have a big kick of spice and you will gobble it up! Cheers! I'll be back!"
"Fries were absolutely amazing I could snack on them all day, the burger wasn't my favorite but my mother thoroughly enjoyed it. Restaurant was clean and didn't experience any negatives while in my visit."
"Everything here is great! The food is just good ol' fashioned home cooking! The people are out of this world amazing! Go for your birthday and have Brenda sing to you! It's a local establishment which is awesome! A wonderful, family environment! Love AYCE Catfish Fridays! Get up and go visit! Kim and Austin work hard and are just as nice as can be! Stop by and God bless..."
"Actually, 3.5 stars. My brother and I were in Stephenville for a magnificent Jake & Dorothy's CFS. Closed on Wednesday! NO! I had heard of Greer's and seen it on tv. Off we went. We started with the house salad and homemade honey mustard dressing. Fantastic! An excellent salad. The honey mustard dressing is a star! Next came CFS, loaded baked potato, and fried green tomatoes. The loaded baked potato was excellent. My first time to try fried green tomatoes. They were ok. Let me say that I'm a CFS snob. It's either great or just average. This one was average. Nothing wrong with it, just didn't ring my bell. The restaurant is very nice, and the staff was very friendly. We will be back to try something else."
"This was the highlight of our trip to Texas! We were meeting a friend who lives in Burkbennet and this was a good halfway point between there and Dallas to meet. And it was very Texas! Decatur is a really cute small town, there wasn't much open on Sunday but I would leave time to walk around if visiting. The service was incredible, our drinks were consistently refilled without ever feeling intrusive. The menu is simple but I would love to be able to try more! I loved the flavored butter on my filet. The vegetables were very fresh, definitely not canned. I wish I had gotten the squash side, it looked amazing! The wedge salad is a very good size, most dishes come with 2 sides and a roll. I had the pecan pie that came with homemade whipped cream for dessert. This place would be a reason for me to go back to Texas! It was the only place we found that had actual soul to it (most of our time was spent in Dallas suburbs)."
"I came here as part of a food tour, so all I got to try was the brisket. But OMG it was melt in your mouth delicious!!! It didn't even need BBQ sauce, although the 2 sauces provided were good - one more thick and sweet and one more thin and spicy; they were especially good mixed together. The sides coming out to other tables also looked really good. I definitely plan on coming back and trying more items!!"
"In 2021, I said... "best biscuits in town." I'm pretty sure that still holds as of now. The biscuits are fluffy, buttery and paired with the best spreads: salted whipped butter, golden natural honey and sweet seasonal jam. You always need to start with an order of these here. Heck, you could go and just get coffee or a cocktail with them. You'd be happy with your breakfast! We were last there with a group so we had an order of biscuits, pimento cheese and entrees. I tried their chicken biscuit sandwich. It had a fried chicken thigh, kale apple slaw and honey. It was delish! Surprisingly, I also really enjoyed the pimento cheese. I'm not a typical pc gal, but this one seemed to have more flavor and heat to it. Overall, we had a really lovely brunch! The entire party seemed happy with the food, service (shout out to Melody for all the water refills and being patient with us!), ambiance and (of course)... the biscuits!"
"Music was really good we went last night Tuesday 10/08/2024 for the live band. Food was excellent I got the catfish & shrimp basket with 4 wings. Some of the best catfish I have had in dfw!! Highly recommend. Its a old school chill juke joint type of vibe."
"Came to have lunch with my sister. It was alright. Our server wasn't very attentive unless I caught her attention. Her name was Jade. For an appetizer, we got the queso with beef. When she brought it out it didn't have the beef and she mentioned she didn't hear me ask for it. May be because as I was talking to her she started walking off before I was done talking. The dip came out hot and was good but not ggreat. Ordered the blackened salmon with side caesar and brocolli casserole. The salmon came out normal not blackened and was also a little over cooked. The dressing for the caesar side was alright. Not the best but not the worst. When I eventually got the brocolli casserole it was cold. Once she got other tables, we had to flag her down to get her attention. She would keep walking by our table and not ask if we needed anything. We needed to go boxes, to go drinks, and the check. She said it was on the computer on the table which it wasn't. Asked for just the print out check and she brought me a computer for the table to do everything. In which the gift card I had would not work on it. Had to get up and take the gift card to her to get it taken off my bill. I wasn't totally thrilled about the experience. Server could have been better but you never know what someone may be going through. Maybe she was just having an off day."

Their food was simply incredible. I loved the brisket and baked beans. I've never had a potato salad as good as theirs. I will definitely be returning for more.

On a whim we tried Spice and Gravy today for lunch. There weren't too many reviews but why not try it out, right?I am very happy that we did as the food was great. I had the chicken and waffle and that was some of the best fried chicken I have had in a long time. It was very juicy, crispy as can be, and perfectly seasoned. That waffle, it was no second fiddle on this plate. The cinnamon was a nice touch and the texture of the waffle was perfect for being able to stand up to the chicken being piled on top of it. It almost had a buckwheat earthiness to the taste but it wasn't that. This was no run of the mill waffle though, I can assure you that much. We dined in and the food wasn't rushed to get out to us but also we didn't feel like we had been waiting for it for an unreasonable amount of time. Long story short, we will be back!

What a great new spot in keller! We went around 10am Saturday and it was packed but they were able to handle the crowd quickly. There is plenty of seating in spot of the crowd and there is also some outside (however there is a major fly problem they need to deal with ) Staff was all very helpful and on top of keeping everything clean and restocked. I got the farmer and it was really good I was afraid it would be to sweet with the apple butter but it wasn't.The maple coffee was delish too! I love you can drink offer from a real mug! It always tastes better that way to me.Thank you Yelp and Maple street for a wonderful experience we will be back!!

We had a wonderful time at this intimate spot with lovely outdoor seating. The food was flavorful and well-seasoned, with beautiful presentation. The Cast Iton Skillet Cornbread was a definite highlight -- so delicious! My husband did mention he'd prefer the arugula on the side rather than on top of his hot dish, but that's just a small thing. Brianna, our waitress, was attentive and offered great suggestions. Her service really made the experience even better. We'll definitely be back!

Pretty good option of a burger in Weatherford. I've only been once, and plan to go back. Onion rings very tasty too. Worth noting, it's an order at the counter kind of place. Now I don't recall if they brought food out, or I picked up, but either way, not really a factor. They have milkshakes, but I'm trying to be better.

Best cut of liver that I have had in quite some time. Being so easy to overcook, I have become accustomed to tough liver & onions but this was cooked to perfection.Service was prompt & courteous. The dining room was clean and calm, despite a full house. This diner has managed to retain the small town charm of my favorite diners as a kid. I will certainly be returning.

Home cooking! Prompt service with lots of chit chatting between our table and server! ! Fabulous iced tea! Delicious fried green tomatoes and chicken fried steak! The only complaint was the mashed potatoes could have been warmer. That minor issue didn't set us back from 5 stars and wanting to come back to visit Greer's again!

Ah, Sweetie Pie's Ribeyes--right on the square in little ol' Decatur, Texas. Landed here during a work trip, thinking this might be some small-town tease joint. I mean, come on, "Sweetie Pie's"? Had me recalling a very different type of establishment down in the bayou of Louisiana. But nope, wrong kind of sweetie pies. And honestly? Not a disappointment in sight.Rolled in with six of my fellow coworkers, and let me tell you, these lads know how to eat and drink. A proper posse for a place like this.Me? I went straight for the chicken fried ribeye. Let me paint you a picture: imagine a perfectly tender cut of ribeye, bathed in seasoned batter, and fried to golden perfection. Crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, with just the right kick of spice to keep you guessing. Paired it with mac and cheese so creamy it could've doubled as a bedtime lullaby and some broccoli steamed just enough to make you feel slightly better about your life choices. The vibes were as Texas as it gets. They've got a server belting out tunes here and there, a real touch of charm you don't see too often. And then Santa Claus himself strolls in. My mate Old Red, bless him, asks if he can sit on Santa's lap. Classic Red move--no shame in his game. The service? Top-notch. Food? Fantastic. Atmosphere? A perfect blend of small-town warmth and big-time personality. Sweetie Pie's Ribeyes isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience. A must-stop if you're ever in Decatur.Rating: 5 stars--because they earned every one.

"We went yesterday for Easter brunch and my oh my were we wowed! The food was superb, the selection seemingly endless and there was a mimosa AND bloody mary bar. The bloody mary bar had approximately 30 toppings and the mimosa bar had 3 or 4 juices to choose from. But all that aside, what set us up for an amazing experience was the staff! Ashley, one of the managers was professional, kind and helpful. Every person working at the buffet, serving and the hostess were exemplary. We had a perfect experience from start to finish, I don't think I've ever been to a brunch with so much variety and so much amazing food. The ham was carved while you waited and outstanding and they even have a kid's buffet!!! It was all-around the perfect experience. My only request? Add some bagels or plain toast. I am a carb girl and really missed the bagel :) If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would. We had such a great time that we went back to see the evening bar staff for a night cap before we ended our day of Easter family time! Thank you to everyone we worked with for the BEST day and meal :)"
"Wife and I went to Lisa's last night . We got 15 piece tender dinner , cost us $27.00. Chicken taste like nasty fish, obviously catfish cooked in same oil as chicken. Called the restaurant and manager said that's exactly what they started doing to cut down price of oil. If I wanted fish I'd have gone to Captain Ds across the street. Stupidest thing I ever heard of. No apology from management. Nothing whatsoever. Certainly my last visit"
"Everything great and actually better than expected aside from our server who disappeared after randomly deciding to give a table her unsolicited political opinions lol. She's harmless but funny and not the most focused..no big deal. Breakfast potato's were AMAZING! Perfectly crispy on the outside and indulgently soft on the inside. Eggs were perfect and portions large. Coffee great. Highly recommend!"
"First time here and just took a chance ordering a girl dinner of a bunch of apps and sides! Everything was delicious!! Started with spinach dip, which server told us to squeeze the lemon on it that it was served with, not a huge fan of lemony on my food but we tried it and it was yum!!!Brussels sprouts were sweet and saucy, Mac and cheese was a dream and the cornbread with jalapeno butter was to die for!!Service was great and attentive, restaurant was clean and cute! we will definitely return!! Nice place for a date or a girl's date!!!"
"Service was good. Food was delicious. The ambiance was true to the old west theme. We ordered the Saloon Lady, kids pancakes, and the Philly Skilly. The kids pancake was bigger than my head. The French toast was crispy and sweet. It was a great last meal before heading home from checking out at GWL."
"Came back again and it was just as good as the first time we checked the place out which prior to the pandemic. The food still had great flavor. I had a kids meal with Mac & cheese and mash potatoes with cream gravy. The Mac & cheese had really good flavor and was creamy. The potato's had some skin left on and the gravy had real bacon in it. The kids meal comes with a drink. My fiancé got the daily special which is $3 cheaper than regular price. He got the chicken fried chicken with mash potatoes and gravy and corn. The chicken was cooked just right not dry at all the breading was crispy and had a good flavor. We split the banana pudding and it had chucks of banana in it and was so yummy! I hope we make it back sooner and not wait so long."
"Fried Chicken the way it's supposed to be. The service is first class and the country decor fits the menu. The family serving style is unique and caused more family engagement without cell phone interrupting. Flavors =YUM"
"Jellico's is inside the new Westin hotel in Southlake, but it offers no ordinary hotel food! We decided to stop in last minute on a Sunday for an early dinner and the staff quickly accommodated all 8 adults and 3 children under 4 years old. We are a rowdy bunch but were quickly tamed by each amazing plate of food. Between all of us we sampled pretty much all of the menu, but were passing plates around so fast I didn't have a chance to get any pictures. Favorites- Sharables: charcuterie board, tuna crudo, deviled eggs. Entrees: Steak and mashed potatoes, shrimp and grits. Dessert: S'mores with horchata ice cream (note: the panna cotta is vegan!)The ambiance is light and airy too, it's really just a lovely place to spend an evening!"
"The chicken fried steak was amazing, the pecan crusted goat cheese chicken was good but needed some extra flavor, and we enjoyed the deviled eggs. The service was good too."
"Had a great time with our friends. The chili was fantastic, the wings were great and our server John was very good and pleasant"
"I love this place. They are never out of items , everything is always fresh and cooked perfectly. I was get the gizzards here. I always get more than I ordered, the batter is never too greasy and always seasoned well. The Cole slaws tasted fresh and was not watery. The mash potatoes were very creamy and smooth. Their lemonade is also very good. Their regular fried chicken is made with that same crunchy light batter, always juicy and never dry!"
"The Budlong Southern Chicken is a fried chicken sandwich chain that serves Nashville Hot chicken sandwiches that uses chicken thighs instead of breast. This is the first location in Texas. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return)Atmosphere - The Budlong Southern Chicken is located behind Bar Louie in the Toyota Music Factory. Like all restaurants at TMF, try to get street parking, otherwise you have to park in the garage, which can be busy on event days. The restaurant itself is a long, quick serve style restaurant with booths along the sides, tables in the middle, and cool Budlong art and murals on the wall. If only it had better parking.... 1/2 Star.Service - The staff is super nice. We went on a grand opening day where the line was to the door, but the staff were all smiles, were super patient with our orders, and made sure we would enjoy our meals. Like most quick service restaurants, you order, give them your name, then wait for your food to come out. 1 StarFood - I ordered the original Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with Cajun potato salad. Kudos to Budlong because the thigh meat works. The chicken was hot, plump, juicy, and contained a good amount of heat. The soft, spongy bun held the chicken and slaw well. The slaw cooled the heat a little, and the cold, creamy Cajun potato salad cooled it a lot. IMO, it was a perfect paring. I chose the buttermilk ranch. And while I didn't dip my sandwich in it, my teens ate it with their hot, crispy crinkle-cut fries. But the star of my meal was the fried corn bread. Served with sweet butter, who knew boring cornbread could be transformed into such greatness? The only downer was the chocolate pie. The dough was very chewy and the chocolate a bit gooey. Otherwise, a great meal! 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. While I'm not a fan of the parking at Toyota Music Factory, I'm happy that I now have a great local option (I live in Irving) for Nashville Hot Chicken. I'll be back for that fried corn bread! 1 Star"
"People don't come here for the food, although it wasn't too bad when I came here in August 2024 with some friends for lunch. The service and ambiance - well, it is like Twin Peaks on steroids. The tables are jammed together so that men can be packed in here like sardines to get an eyeful of the ladies who are hustling to get food and drinks out. Our waitress was solid and friendly. Professionally so. I had their take on a Cobb Salad, which wasn't bad. The lettuce was like it came out of a Fresh Express bag, but the salad was well topped with a tasty dressing. The beer was cold and the price wasn't too bad for what you got. I wish this place every success."
"Always liked chicken salad, but Chicken Salad Chick takes it to a way new level . The food is always fantastic, love the melts, service is outstanding and the cookie that comes with you plate is amazing. Highly recommend !"
"All the food I tried was cold, it all tasted like it had been sitting there too long. The place was clean and looked nice though. There were a lot of nice people working there. But the food for the price I paid just wasn't up to par. Two people for 45 dollars was a lot to me. Yes they had a lot of things to choose from. But everything on my plate was just cold. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone."
"The wait time was quick. Quoted me 15 mins on a Sunday 10am. The food was delicious! I definitely will be back."
"Cheddars is probably one of the best restaurants in the Burleson/Crowley area (in my opinion). Our waiter Cain/Cane was so amazing, he seemed like he loved his job and was constantly making sure everyone was good. The food was really good, the steak was cooked to perfection and my party had no complaints. I'm definitely going to come back"
"Our party of 6 came in at around 7:45 on a Thursday night for dinner. We were seated after a few minutes, and our server Shawn promptly came and took our drink order. After a few minutes we placed our food order. It took a bit for the food to come, but when it did, it was hot and fresh. All of our food was correct, and tasted really good. The service was friendly, and we enjoyed our dinner. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would come back here again."
"The food arrived and was very healthy, still warm and you can taste that all the ingredients were very fresh. The service was decent and the atmosphere I can't comment on because this was UberEats order as I learn the area. But I can assure you that I will be making a visit on my next order because this has been by far one of the most decent breakfast meals in the area. They are doing it right and I am looking forward to trying some other things on the menu. Breakfast 1+2=4 was deliciousAnd Breakfast #1 was just as goodWas hoping for some home fries but the Biscuits and gravy were on point.Bacon was fresh and firmSausage was okayAnd the eggs were good"
"Well well, I finally got over to this little country spot that I've never tried before although I had heard a lot about. It was a cold day so I was in the mood for some good old comfort food and my friend at work suggested the Cotton Patch and I said okay I've never been there let's give it a try and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the country fried steak with jalapeno cream gravy garlic mashed potatoes and mac and cheese and it was delicious, especially the country fried steak with that jalapeno cream gravy in the portion was huge. Now I know if I want a good country fried steak at a good price close to the house I know where to go, I will say the service was a little slow in the food took a little too long to come out but at least it came out well. All in all I would recommend Cotton Patch to others and I will be back."
"Great spot to celebrate a special occasion or just to enjoy a nice meal. The menu changes with what is in season. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The overall atmosphere is nice and inviting, fancy but not intimidating. Will definitely be going to to try more dishes."
"The tenders were really good! I got mild and they were exactly mild lol next time I will try a step up. I was expecting different fries based on the pictures I seen here but they were regular which was a bummer for me. I wasn't a fan of the sauce they gave with the tenders but that's just a personal preference as I don't like pickles on my chicken & the sauce had a creamy pickle-y taste. The tenders were perfectly crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside which I loveeedddd!"
"Quality of food and service. Our host even gave us recommendations from the menu and desserts. The coconut pie is delicious!"
