"The best Sushi in town . Love love this place freshest sushi great service , we do a lots of Togo orders ."
"The food here is delicious, but plan to come here on a weekday late in the afternoon when they aren't busy. We came during the Lunar New Year celebrations when the City of Richardson was having a festival in the Chinatown plaza where this restaurant is located. The restaurant was packed! We sat in the waiting area for 20 minutes before a table cleared. Once seated, we ordered drinks and foods immediately, but waited at least an hour for our hakata noodle ramen to show up. The food was delicious, but the wait was so long, we missed the entire festival taking place outside. It was chilly inside. Our table was near the kitchen and the front door, but even when the door wasn't open, it was quite cool inside. I'm guessing they had the air circulating for the wait staff and kitchen crew who were probably hot from running around all day serving everyone. It wouldn't have been so bad if we could have received our ramen sooner so that we could warm our insides with hot broth. The food was delicious, well my spicy tonokata was delicious. It was flavorful without being so spicy that your nose started running. lol! The hakata noodles were plentiful and delicate enough that you could break them without slurping continuously for five minutes. Ha ha ha! Seriously, I was super happy with the tangled nest of noodles. There were a lot! That made me very happy. Waitstaff were nice, apologetic about the wait, good about refilling our drinks on a regular basis. Price was about $44 with drinks. Not cheap, but average for the area. I would come back, but definitely in the off season."

"Oni is a must-have when in Deep Ellum. It's easy to order (two kiosks, self-serve OR sit at the bar, not both!), and easy to pick your spice level... just know there are no remakes or refunds! Choose wisely! You can get your spice on the side if you're wanting to be adventurous but not have a heavy risk of dragon fire breathing, mouth melting spice levels. The ramen is quality, always delicious, and tastes fresh. I love that you can choose a hard or soft boiled egg because, let's face it, not everyone likes it the same way!The restaurant itself is a skinny sliver of a place with two entries, one at the front, one at the back. It's stylish and utilitarian; plenty of place for you to hunch over a steaming bowl and slurp noodles to your hearts delight. It's definitely casual and the mood (and crowd) gets more creative as the night goes on!I will always approve of Oni when it comes to ramen. The spice choices are dialed and they know it."
"I was craving ramen but a lot of places don't have gluten free noodles until now.. when I find a spot in Texas! You can add them to any of the ramen options they offer. I got the veggie ramen which came with a creamy broth (think of a miso soup but creamy). It also comes with a spring mix, egg, tofu, bell peppers and some tomatoes. A different kind of veggie ramen then what I'm used to but it's def worth the try. I got it to go, comes with plenty of noddles and the sides as well as a good amount of broth. **note the gf noodles are thicker and so tend to fall apart easier in the broth. The server who helped me was really nice, told me it'll be ready for take out in five minutes. Inside had plenty of seating as well as a bar area to eat at. More options then just ramen too!"
"Still the best ramen I've ever had. The price definitely matches the inflation of the time but so worth it. No complaints. Service was friendly and atmosphere relaxed at the bar. I miss it already ... till next time!"
"So technically the owner is nextdoor at the former Moonglow and is still serving ramen plus a French Japanese cuisine. This is still the best restaurant around and is a quiet place to dine in peace. The chef told us tonight he intends for his restaurant to be like your own personal chef. There are not many places like this anywhere. Always the best experience. Arigato."
"Great location off Lemmon Ave. The food here is always fresh hot and delicious. I got a huge chicken soup for about $14. It's definitely a lot of food and I would recommend this location"
"Small setting with delicious ramen and great small bite choices! It's definitely a place you would visit for a quick lunch!"
"Definitely one of my go to places for quick fix of Korean fusion food. Their togo service is stellar. I've never had my food order wrong and precise with special instructionsLove getting their loaded Bulgogi fries and Chasu-Don. Bulgogi has a char grilled flavor. Ingredients are fresh. Great flavor for both items."
"I absolutely love this place... the owner (I think) is great, the servers are great, as well as the cooks and sushi chef... I normally eat the Poki Bowls... SOO delicious... the Pad Thai is literally one of my favorite from around the country... that's all I've tried so far because the other two are so good!"
"High quality sushi with good ambiance. Servers were pleasant and welcoming, I would definitely come back!!!!!!"
"This is a hard review to write because I really liked this place. Tonight was my 3rd visit to Kurume Ramen over the past 7 weeks. My first visit was outstanding. The service was excellent, the food was deliciously perfect, and we were treated like VIP's. My second visit, I brought along a party of 6 guests with me to celebrate my daughter's graduation. We had the same server from our first visit, and he was excellent. The food was just as great as my first visit, and my guests were all satisfied and happy. When I received my bill, I was a little shocked to see a random hefty surcharge on my bill, but I didn't ask any questions about it, I just left a tip bringing my total to over $170.00 and thanked our server. Tonight was my 3rd and likely last visit. I have been looking forward to coming here all week, and boy was it a complete disappointment. After walking in, my kids and I were greeted by a younger man. He sat us at a table and asked for our drink orders. My son and I had been drinking alot of fluids all day, so we didn't order any drinks. My daughter only ordered water. I got the feeling our server was irritated about this, so he didn't return to take our food order for quite some time. When he finally returned, he asked what we wanted then he collected the menus and walked away without another word. My daughter ordered the Monster Sushi Roll, my son ordered a side of fried rice, and I ordered the Creamy Veggie Ramen, that I also had during my two previous visits. After waiting about 15 minutes, our server stopped by our table and dropped off my ramen, this was the last time we saw him. 10 minutes later, a woman stopped by our table and delivered my son's fried rice, and 7-10 minutes after that, my daughter's monster roll was delivered by the same woman. I was wondering why our dishes all arrived at different intervals, as this was not my experience my previous two visits. It was very strange. Now for the disappointment... I dug my chopsticks into my bowl of creamy veggie ramen, and took a bite, I was shocked. My ramen was cold. So I used the spoon to taste the broth to see if it was cold too, and it was room temperate, no heat whatsoever. I debated with my daughter if I should just suck it up and eat it as is. Then I decided to taste the tofu... it was ice cold. Like it had been frozen and partially thawed out and put into my bowl of ramen. I decided I just could not eat it. I really thought the food here was fresh and cooked to order, but I guess it's not if my tofu was icy cold. When the woman came over to drop off my son's fried rice, I told her about my cold ramen bowl. She offered to heat up my bowl or have the chef make a replacement. But at $13 for a bowl of veggie ramen I didn't want my dinner to be microwaved, I could've stayed home if I wanted microwaved ramen. So I told her no thank you. She was very quiet, but kind about it. I asked her if the tofu was previously made and then frozen. She told me that she thought the tofu was made in the morning then refrigerated, but she wasn't completely sure. Either way, it was a huge disappointment for me as I had really looked forward to this meal. In the end, I was never offered an apology, no one came over to talk to me about it. No manager came over to simply say sorry. Instead, I observed the cooks and or manager in the kitchen on their cellphones. Just disappointing! Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant during my first two visits, and if not for my experience tonight, I would've given them 5 Stars. Maybe they just had a bad night tonight. But in my opinion, there are no excuses for ever serving a customer ice cold food. I still recommend you try this place out for yourself."

Had dinner here with my family since my son had heard so many good things. The parking really sucks, there is very little street parking, but several lots and each cost oner twenty bucks. The restaurant had a very friendly staff and they were eager to help with inputting your orders. I ordered the Texas Mazeman, and aside from having a very big chunk of ramen, partly uncooked and inedible, it was a really good bowl with lots of flavor and a really good broth. My wife also enjoyed her vegetarian bowl. If ever in the area again we will make another visit.

This is the best ramen I've had in DFW. its authentic flavor and traditional style and staff gives me everything i need to feel like I'm being transported to Japan. I love the tonkatsu deluxe with a level 4 spice, it's savory and full of porky creamy textures. The marufuku bites with Chashu is also a staple every time we go. So far, everything i have tried here is a 5/5 from their beer, sake, and sodas to their bites, octopus, and squid its all delicious! You certainly won't be disappointed. The staff is always very friendly and i have never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seated. Its cozy and personal each time.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend. I don't think I would have found it otherwise, but I'm sure glad I did. Interior has a nice Asian minimalist decor and a kitchen that opens into the dining area. Server, Sue, was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Kara Miso Ramen which is marked hot/spicy. I found it to be about a 3 on the 1-5 heat scale, which was perfect for me, and the broth was delicious. A friend that went with me ordered the Seaweed Sandwich, which we had never seen before. It's about a half sheet of seaweed spread with white rice and folded over. The inside is filled with seasoned meat, grilled onions, and other good stuff. She said it was "to die for". Prices are reasonable and we will definitely be back to try more of their interesting dishes. I highly recommend you give them a try.

We got here right when they opened so no waiting in line for a table. It was fast to get our food! It's a small place so I get why they can't accommodate more than 4. The renovations look great. We got 3 apps and then ramen. The bluefin tuna and avocado was great. A lot of avocado so people who hate beware! I am a person who drenches their salad in dressing and overpowers the main dish with sauces so take this with a grain of salt - the scallop one was a bit bland but it allows you to taste the actual scallop and not the sauce so I appreciate what it was. Then the spicy tuna with crispy rice was really well done and spicy! Spicier than I thought but you can take off the pepper on top to help. I got the spicy garlic shoyu ramen. It's not spicy and very yummy. I will be coming back to try out the yuzu miso ramen next!

Ok so if there was a sixth star I would give it that because it was that good! Basic no frills ramen place with a K-pop theme. The service and the food are top notch. We ordered the garlic miso ramen soup and the veggie ramen soup with veggie potstickers you can add more items to your ramen and they even allow you to customize the heat level. I would definitely return again! I wish they had one back in Arizona !

My husband found this spot when he was looking for poke. I thoroughly enjoyed the poke a few times. So today I decided to try some rolls. I ordered the spicy tuna and spicy salmon. I can say they were delicious. I wish I would have ordered more! The service is speedy and the atmosphere is quaint. I uploaded a picture to showcase the salmon. I asked for green onions on top.

"This was my second time coming and I must say that it was amazing I will definitely go back... I have my spice levels down now lol"
"I've been here before so I'm surprised at the poor service today. To be fair, they appear to be understaffed - I only saw two people working and no hostess. When I walked in and said it was just myself, the gentleman appeared confused and then referred me to the bar, which had no bartender. I was asked what I would like to drink, asked for sparkling water, and was offered the choice of Perrier or club soda from the gun. I chose Perrier and it came in a plastic bottle. I had to open it and pour it myself. About 8 or 9 minutes went by and I realized it seemed as if I had been forgotten, so I dropped a $10 and walked next door to Truluck's where I'm having an amazing dinner."
"This review is strictly for to-go orders. I haven't had a chance to dine in yet. My smallest dog is too clingy and since he can't sit in the dining room with us, who knows when I'll be able to eat there lol. Onto the food itself! My husband enjoyed the generous bento box with California roll. The specialty rolls have a bit more going on than I could enjoy. Rainbow roll: 4/5 stars because there's cooked shrimp on itSalmon roll: 5/5 stars because it's perfect the way it is and the flavor of the fish comes throughTuna roll: 5/5 stars, just as consistent as the salmon rollSombrero roll: 4.25/5 because the sriracha is a bit overwhelming. If it were sriracha mayo to add a touch of butteriness that didn't compete with the fish, the fresh slices of deboned jalapeño slices on top could work well with the roll. Rocky Manhattan roll: 3.5/5 because many of these more specialty rolls have a little too much going on and the flavors get lost. It could do without the Cajun sauce IMO. Overall, solid!"
"Anytime I can stop by and grab a bite from S&R I do just that. I had a midday doc appointment in south Arlington so in decided to visit.Sushi hits every time!!"
"Cool hidden gem in Frisco. Food and service was excellent! We got a chicken ramen and passion fruit tea, delicious very fresh."
"We finally have a chilly night and my bestie was craving ramen so it worked out perfectly. I got the Tonkatsu Garlic ramen and I loved it. She got the tonkatsu ramen. Really good flavor and a generous portion for the price. We ordered a couple of rolls and we both liked them. The restaurant is small and cozy. It has a very homey feeling to it and everyone we had contact with was very friendly and accommodating. I don't live in the area but I would definitely come back"
"Delicious ramen! The chicken ramen & the tonkatsu black ramen were so decadent, rich, yet light (not heavy!) you have the choice of adding additional toppings~ lots to choose from!We also tried the house salad and seafood salad which were so fresh! Dara was a great server and was on point on the service!Great spot for a warm bowl of ramen on a cold day~"
"Always consistent and amazing food and service. I get the spicy ramen and I love it. I also like the quiet ambiance !"
"The location was recommended...there wasn't a wait to place the order. I ordered Korean chicken and rice...my daughter ordered a Ramen bowl. We waited about 15 minutes for our order to be done. Both items were filling and good. The environment was clean and quiet. The customer service was friendly. I would visit again."
"I found Hot Spots Eat Fresh after looking around for spots nearby that searched for General Tso's chicken. This is one of my favorite dishes. This restaurant had high reviews, the food pics look good, so I said why not give it a try? I placed a pick up order online from their website and parked and went inside to get my food. I did notice they do have a drive through and curbside pick up. Inside was pretty spacious and it had a few people eating around lunch time on a weekday. My food was ready when I went to get it, which was awesome. General Tso's chicken was very delicious. The piece of chicken meat was fresh and tasty and good pieces, but the tough and chewy parts of the chicken. The flavor was good, not too sweet or spicy. However I wish they had broccoli included. The rice was steamed food and tastes as you would expect white rice from a Chinese restaurant to taste like, bland to mild flavor (It's white rice).I definitely would recommend this spot and you should try them out too. I know I'll be back!"
"We visited this spot while in town and had dinner here one evening--it was such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was clean, charming, and inviting. The young lady working that night greeted us with a warm welcome and the biggest smile. She patiently guided us through the menu and answered all our questions, making us feel right at home. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing--bursting with flavor in every bite! They even provided take-home containers so we could enjoy our leftovers later. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, and we'll definitely be stopping by again the next time we're in town!"
"Disclaimer: I ordered via DoorDashFirst time trying Rakkan Ramen and I was excited to finally experience their food.I totally appreciate that this restaurant offers so many vegetarian options! It is difficult finding ramen that is not pork based. I recently had dental surgery, so I say that I am on a geriatric diet, meaning soft foods. When I saw Rakkan as an option on DD, I knew it was the right time to try it.I ordered the vegan bun, veggie gyoza and Vegan Garnet ramen. I must confess, I am a mushroom fanatic. I could eat mushrooms for every meal and I have never met one that I didn't like. The vegan bun was full of umami mushrooms, which were delicious. Unfortunately, the bun was falling apart and I had to eat it with a fork. The bun was mushy- bummer. The veggie gyozas were tasty, but the best part was the dip for them. I have never had gyoza sauce that was that tasty-- I could drink the stuff! The ramen... what a disappointment. I really thought that since it contained the same mushrooms as the bun, that it would be delicious. Sadly, it was boring and lacked so much flavor. Plus, the serving was shockingly small for the high price. With tax and tip, the meal was $39. Thirty nine dollars for one person! I mean, at a fine dining establishment I would expect this. At a ramen eatery, no. What a bummer."
"Pretty good here. It's a go to spot for my friend and I. I have to say pretty decent for ramen in the area. Service is very good. Our server worked hard and checked up on us. Atmosphere is pretty cool, and you can watch the cooks cook. We ordered some appetizers; like spicy edamame, pork buns, shrimp tempura, sushi. We also order the hot tea, and of course ramen. Check it out! Till then, let's eat!"
"My friend wanted ramen for lunch so we landed here. We started off with the chicken karaage and gyoza which were both lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the seafood ramen and my friend ordered the tonkotsu ramen. We both felt the flavor of the broth could've been richer and he did note it could've been spicer even with the side of spicy oil he had. Overall, it was an ok experience and we had good customer service."
"What a fun little gem in Keller! We stopped by after church as the pics of the food brought us in. We had an incredibly friendly and informative server, Alex. He walked us through the menu and some of the best combinations (as there is flexibility in flavor with your choices). My husband and I both ordered a ramen bowl - Texas and the Bulgogi Ramen. The regular bowls were enough for our early appetites. There were many options to choose from including a gluten free noodle option. The place had plenty of seating and was cute. We will come back for sure when our boys are with us."
"We had a really good late lunch here at Hokkaido. There was a welcoming ambiance to the restaurant and the service was polite, friendly and efficient. It was a cold, rainy day so ramen sounded perfect. We also split a specialty roll and an order of the beef buns. The beef buns were really flavorful. They were overshadowed though by the Monster Roll, which we both attacked. Each of the ingredients tasted fresh and distinct on the palette. I had ordered the Beef Ramen while my wife ordered the Spicy Chicken. Both were exceptional. The shoyu broth had a deep flavor while the sesame broth had a brighter, spicy bite. We will definitely be back to explore the menu some more."
"Visited on Friday at 430 pm and we were greeted and seated promptly. Charlie was so delightful and attentive, she is an excellent server and her kindness is infectious. The broth, it was delightful and overall great. I LOVE spice and I didn't enjoy their hot sauce (think sriracha flavor) and the broth could have been more complex, it was good. It was just missing a layer of complexity to the flavor. We enjoyed our experience and will be back!Arigatou!!"
"Been here twice for the ramen and it is very good. Next time I plan on the sushi. Service is good and compares to similar restaurants. And it's style inside is also typical of an Asian food restaurant being built in 2024"
"It was my first time here today and I'm really glad I stopped by this afternoon. I walked in only looking for a takeout menu, but I was warmly and happily greeted by the hostess and she convinced me to take a seat and review their menu which is only available online. There is a LOT to choose from on their menu. I was craving ramen, but after seeing the number of bento box choices, I decided to get the steak teriyaki bento box. Lunch specials last until 3pm and include a choice of 2 or 3 sushi rolls or you can select from the list of bento boxes. The restaurant is very calming, nicely decorated and clean. Artwork adorns the interior and there is also a small sushi bar that seats up to four people. My beef teriyaki bento box was incredible and included an 8-10oz sliced teriyaki steak, small portions of miso soup, ginger dressing salad, four pieces of California roll sushi, one shrimp and four veggie tempura, and a cup of steamed rice. Soy sauce and a ginger sauce for dipping is also included.Overall, the meal was exceptional. The miso soup was absolutely incredible, the ginger salad was refreshing and the tempura pieces were very delicious and cooked to perfection. The beef teriyaki was cooked perfectly as well. You can also order wasabi which I like to eat with my sushi.I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere and look forward to coming back and trying other items in the menu."
"Really good casual sushi! Def give it a try or go pick it up. I got the California roll and rainbow roll. It was very good and the fish quality was good."
"Hold on Houston. I may have left you, but I didn't leave my appetite behind. But what's this? Ramen? Good noods and chillacious drinks. I'm just making up words alright? Bear with me. But picture this. Bustling streets. Chatters of different conversations from bars around the way. Aromas of carbs and tonkotsu scream in the air to be devoured on a hot day. You're hungry and you just need some good eats in your stomach. Making your way into Wabi means you're either waiting on their patio for a table/bar seat. Or you're immediately sat with yourself (or with friends.) The menu is pretty extensive from their scallops, meatballs, to Japanese fried chicken and ramen which are pretty damn tasty. Plenty of the food has been good noshes and people like Amanda, Ahn, Jasmine, and Denise have made this place incredible. Here's the food and how I eat it. The scallops have a light soy marinade with micro greens on top. I had a dash of salt to compliment it. Shittake mushrooms have a nice density to give it extra umami. That bone marrow butter is stellar. I get the tsukemen which is their dipping ramen; but what do I do? I add scallops and that bone marrow to enhance that broth. The gods answered my prayer and I couldn't stop saying thank you to the food one. Overall, it was great. I love the atmosphere and I couldn't thank them to be another home away from home."
