"We have been meaning to try this place since they opened. Great having Thai and Laotian food this close to our house.Food was fresh and tasted great. We had the Pad Kee Mow, Papaya Salad, Lao sausage, Panang Curry and veggie stir fry. They have a customizable level of spice on all dishes. Went with a Level 4 on the Panang Curry.Friendly service, and the inside of the restaurant is nice and modern. We loved it, as did the kids."
"Food was good. We found the portion for the curry a bit small. The beef Jerky was just okay. I wish they cut it up in strips. The curry was really good . The noodle dish was also good. The thai tea was really refreshing. Service was okay."

"This place is the gem that Euless didn't even know it NEEDED!!!This Thai restaurant delivers Fresh quality food that is *chefs kiss*! Since stumbling upon this place we have not been able to get over their food especially the orange chicken, they make the sauce , & it is so good! Really friendly customer service and experience. We will definitely frequent oftenAnd this mango and sticky rice!!!! Listen I never had it before tonight but this will definitely be on my order next time!! So good!!"
"OMG This place right here!....i ordered the glass noodles with chicken and let me tell you it was so delicious! Plenty of fresh vegetables and large portions of well seasoned chicken. I also ordered a peach drink with strawberry boba. Lastly the sticky purple rice with fresh mango! Chefs kiss! Forgot to mention this order was takeout and it arrived hot and well secured. Highly recommend this spot!"
"My favorite Laos and Thai spot in N Texas. It is family owned and the most authentic Laos food in the area. I have tried close to half their menu and every dish satisfies my craving for my mom's cooking."
"Omg I been craving some Kao Poon and today it was so satisfying when I went to this restaurant. My two years old love the chickens wings he was chowing it down...My husband order the Pad Kra Pao, and he was really surprised on how much meat portion was giving. I would recommend this place if you want some homemade authentic Lao\Thai food. I will be back..."
"One of the best Thai places I've had in Dallas/suburbs of Dallas? Lol The portions are huge and they do spice at a Thai level so you know it's legit. I can handle some heat and the medium level 2 is really darn spicy. I usually get 1.5 which is an option apparently. If you can't handle heat let them knowThis place is reminiscent of a place I went to when I was living in Austin called Madam Mam's, where the flavors are on point and so are the portions. You always have a second meal here at sticky rice and I love that!I've had the curries, fried rice, and noodles and everything is spot on. Their pad Thai is a little different from the average place FYI, but you might enjoy it, just don't expect the typical pad Thai. I always get the pad kee mow, it's my go to, soooo good. Also their chili paste is really good if you're into spice, I think they make it? They also have chili oil and some other condiments.I've checked out a few Thai places in DFW but none as memorable as this place. I will say Sabaidee is on my top as well but this place might just best it out for me."
"Place is great, I've only had their noodle dishes, a few soups, and their khao man gai (hainanese chicken). Enjoyed everything. Pad Thai is good but maybe not the standout among their offerings. One of the few places to serve hainanese chicken in the metroplex, and it's great."
"My beautiful wife and I really liked this place. It is nice having a place like this within walking distance of our house. When we went, I ordered the Thais Basil Chicken with rice. The food came out quick and it was delicious. Definitely well worth the visit. The place was nice on the inside and the service was friendly. Please check this place out."
"I was in the mood for Thai and this popped up in my feed. I've been pretty disappointed in the Thai restaurants in Denton, this one is technically in Corinth in new development area. All buildings around are new and look fresh. Pretty easy ordering, you pick a menu order at the desk and they come out with the food to your table. They have 5 spice levels, I went with level three which was perfect for me. A light sweat but wonderful spices. The decor is quite nice and was nicer than what I expected since they don't have servers. The presentation of the dishes was very nice and also was better than I had expected.I wanted to try a couple of things so I first went with a small Tom Khaa soup with tofu. It was a lot bigger than I expected. It tasted great! Good selection of veggies and the flavors just came together perfectly. For the main meal I ordered Panang Curry with tofu. It was good but not as great as Tom Khaa. I'm a bit picky with Panang Curry and I like mine a bit thicker. If I didn't have a favorite Thai spot in Plano that has amazing Panang Curry then I would likely think this one was awesome too.I'm really glad to see a good Thai restaurant near me, I will definitely explore more of their dishes soon."
"Waaaait. Have I not reviewed this place? How? I come here all the time. This is my GO TO for boba. My five stars is only for their bobas. I have this coconut smoothie, I order it at least once a week they put fresh coconut at the bottom and let me say this one is my guilty pleasure. If I have to sacrifice calories it is for this baby right here. My boys always ask for taro and their staff always tops theirs with whipped cream and sprinkles. Cute touch!!! The staff is always nice and they explain the items I just love how welcome I feel here. Make this your final stop after picking up the famous eggrolls at the other end of the strip and then your bahn mi a few doors down and complete with a cold smoothie the coconut one will not let you down I promise. Youll forget where you are while you're drinking it and long for more after it's all gone."
"I'll come back over and over again for the shrimp blankets. Delicious and definitely something worth driving out for. They were quick getting our order taken and recommended some dishes. Love this spot. It's a bit out of the way for me, but worthwhile for the food!"

I am obsessed with the curries here! The noodle dishes are also amazing! Everyone is always very friendly and service is quick. Be easy with the spice, the flavors are amazing and they know how to do spice if you like it! Our favorite Thai spot around!

We came when their internet was down/the cash register wasn't working and the employee kept complaining about it, over and over again. We had cash and were able to pay, but either fix the issue or give it a rest... we watched him turn away subsequent clientele. They really should've figured out a workaround, especially since he kept complaining to his mom about it. Very off-putting. The food was good. Might go back, but there are several decent SE Asian food choices in the area, so likely won't work this place into our regular rotation.

We decided to check out this Thai restaurant for lunch. You walk in and place your order. They have a big board with menu items and take-out brochure with more details about the menu items. This was our first time here. We ordered Fresh Rolls with Chicken (in rice paper) and peanut sauce, Pot Stickers, Mee Ka Tee soup, Pad Thai with beef, Yellow curry with beef, and one soda. Total bill was a little over $69.The fresh rolls were HUGE! When I looked at them I thought there wasn't much chicken, but it looked like a slice of chicken breast to one side. The rest was filled with noodles, lettuce, and carrots. The peanut sauce was very thick, but a nice taste, wish it was thinner to make dipping a little easier. Pot stickers were fried and had a good flavor. It was accompanied by sweet/sour sauce which was also good. Pad thai with beef - all the flavors were nice, but the beef was REALLY tough. This was why they lost a star. Mee Ka Tee soup was good. It had just the right amount of spice for me since I took a risk and ordered medium. It really was more like a mild spice level. The yellow curry dish was the star for me. The broth had a slightly sweet taste and a little bite (medium spice level). I tasted the broth first and I closed my eyes and said Yum for the flavor. It wasn't perfect; the potatoes were undercooked and the carrots should be cut smaller. I would definitely order this dish again. The prices are slightly high, but you get large portions. I have enough left over for a couple of meals.

I've tried numerous curries, noodle dishes, appetizers and desserts over the years from Sticky Rice. I enjoyed the experience, as it was the first time I have been introduced to the cuisine. I find the fried rice entrees to be very spicy when ordering a little spicy, and the curries to be only a little spicy when ordering a little spicy. That isn't a problem for me, though, but just something new customers may want to be wary of, which is to be on the safe side if they do not like spicy food.

"Sweet staff, really good service and the Tom Yum soup and chicken pad Thai were fabulous. Nice, clean restaurant with a good size bar. I found it really easy to get to and will definitely go back."
"I should have followed the first rule of dining, which is if a place smells bad, don't order food from there. I walked in and the stench was a little foul, but since there were decent reviews, I ordered to go anyway. I got chicken pad grapow and this is one of the worst renditions of it I've ever had. The chicken is overcooked chunks of chicken when it should be ground chicken with a bit of caramelization, the sauce is too liquidy and the large chunks of green pepper are unnecessary. For thai food, this really misses the mark."
"I wanted to try something new so i decided on Sweet Rice. Friendly staff upon arrival and the food came out pretty quickly. There was a lot of stuff sitting around like napkins and just boxes of stuff....not sure what it was.The food was ok. I got pork egg rolls and herbal chicken fried rice and the kids chicken nuggets. The chicken in the fried rice was breaded and fried which i didn't expect. Not really that great.Glad i tried it but, maybe ill try a different meal if i am ever back here."
"Ly Food Market & Gifts at 4440 W Illinois Ave #400a, Dallas, TX 75211 What is going on here, I drove by this place many times and saw the sign that says they serve food on the windows outside. Today was the day I decided to go in there and check them out. I looked up their reviews on Google. First I saw people really love this place. Like I said today now I know why. I ate some fried rice with the house made chili oil sauce. The picture didn't make it to the Google review because I ate it way too fast, I guess I was hungry. Found my favorite coconut water and one of my all time favorite ginger treats in this location. This place is now one of my favorites Somewhat hidden, somewhat secret but it's definitely a special gem in this community."
"I really like ordering takeout from here for a quick and tasty Thai meal! The service is quick and picking up an order is really easy, you just pick it up from the rack against the wall. It is pretty small inside and seems to be geared towards pickup rather than dining in.I like their pad thai and basil fried rice a lot. They are packed with flavor! The drunken noodle and pineapple fried rice were pretty good too. I wish the pineapple fried rice had more flavor in the rice though, the chicken in this dish also tasted boiled rather than fried with the rice. The Tom yum soup was heavy although the flavor was still good, so I'm glad it came with rice. Spice level 3 is great for me, it wasn't too spicy! I'd try level 4 next time I come.Overall, a good spot for a quick thai meal! I will be ordering for takeout here again when I have another Lao/thai food craving :)"
"If you are craving authentic Laotian and Thai food in the mid-cities area of DFW, this is the place to go! The brightly colored menu was extensive, making it challenging to choose, but we ultimately opted for the green curry and the red curry to go. It took a while for them to prepare so we browsed the grocery store area. Like another reviewer, I did find the prices to be on the higher side. Our food was absolutely, amazingly delicious and seasoned perfectly for our taste. The curries were rich and flavorful and the portions were generous. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town."
"Authentic Laos food, my favorite place when I'm craving Laos food. If you are new and do not know what to order. Get an order of chicken wings, beef jerky, and sticky rice. They also have a papaya salad with their (spicy levels 1-5), I like my papaya salad medium spicy, therefore I choose a #3 in spicy. After a great meal, I finish of with their mango sticky rice dessert. My favorite:)"
"I love ZAAP Kitchen!! I've been to the one of the Dallas locations a lot and I typically get fried rice or curry. The yellow curry is truly the best curry I've ever had. It's packed with such a depth of flavour and I love it so much. You can typically get your food within 5-10 minutes and everything is always so delicious and fresh. ZAAP is pretty casual and always in a sucky parking lot. There is not much seating so be prepared for that if it's busy. But nonetheless, I'm so glad we have one in Plano now. I definitely recommend!"
"Food -Quantity- they give you plenty! Food -Quality- the food is meh, just okI had the Basil Fried Rice and it had a good flavor. Nothing exciting and can get this anywhere. I had the drunken noodles. Plenty of noodles, but lacked in flavor. The Tom Yum soup was delicious. Full of flavor and probably my favorite. I would get this again. Service was ok. Inside was clean and ambiance was chill, nothing fancy. Overall decent, but you can definitely find better."
"Stopped in this place to order lunch for the hubs. Very friendly service! Clean welcoming atmosphere. He ordered the green curry with 4 level spicy and the fresh rolls. The curry was lit to just the right spice level and had great flavor. It was a fair portion size and they even gave out a ramen type spoon which made it very easy to eat the broth goodness. The spring rolls were spring rolls but the peanut sauce that came with them was freaking amazing! Creamy, salty, seasoned perfectly with a slight tang. It was so creamy and lucious. Best peanut sauce I've ever had.For the price the value was ok. $27 with tip. For a neighborhood place I wish they would have offered a lunch special that was more friendly to the wallet."
"The free appetizer with chili sauce is very tasty. The Lao salad is really good, just careful with the spicy. Everything else is just fine. Nice service and fun bar to hang out."
"For authentic Lao foods this is the place to go. Our server was very tentative and answered all of my questions. Food portions was pretty good as well. We shall stop in again on our next visit!"
"Leo Thai Kitchen is a small restaurant and store in a strip mall. Staff were very nice. We ordered the Fish Mike, Pad Thai, and Pork Laap. The Pad Thai with Tofu had a good flavor. It was good but I would have like a bit more peanut butter flavor. The Pork Laap was excellent and probably some of the best I have eaten. Had an issue with the Moke. It had been made previously and heated. The majority of it was cold. We returned it. Even after reheating it still had some cold spots.Overall the food was good and a full of flavors. Will put Lao Thai on 'My Keepers List'."
"If you like Lao/Thai food then this is the very best place to get fresh papaya salad either mild or hot, I prefer hot and it is located in a nondescript shopping center on North Beach Street. Prices haven't changed much in the past 20 years it is consistently the best time and time again! Trust your boy on this one foodie fam and go and see for yourself and you will not be disappointed, that's a promise!"
"Absolute Favorite Lao restaurant in all of Texas! This place is A MUST for me when I touch down at DFW!!!! If ya'll love Lao LAO food, THIS. IS. THE. SPOT. I am a Thum fanatic and this place has my favorite thum! I mean, I love Thum Mimama but Thum Crispy Egg Noddles w Seafood??? Ahhhhhh, HEAVEN 0:) Dragon loves the larb here. My cousin always gets Pho, Kow Peik, Kow Poon... He tries everything. I stick w my sour n fire ass thum and maybe other lil apps. The place is pretty big. Owners, servers, cooks, everybody is super cool w that Lao hospitality. One day I'll be here long enough to come party here one nite. Until then Texas, Kop Jai derrrrr!!!!! Love, ATL"
"I've had this restaurant bookmarked for at least 2 years and finally was anle to dine here. I was immediately greeted upon entering the restaurant and asked my preference regarding a booth or table. I was seated and told that there was a QR code on the table to access the menu. My party and i ordered chicken larb, beef larb ( well done), egg rolls and tom yum soup. The beef larb was flavorful and i hate that it wasnt served with rice. The tom yum soup was perfect- temperature and flavor! Id visit again when craving Laotian or Thai food and would recommend that you give them a try."
"What a great find! Boun Bistro has been around for 10 years but since I'm newish to the area, I just discovered this great restaurant. Thai and Lao food is what you'll find. They are tucked away in a little strip mall and the inside is nicely decorated. We had the Lao Palaya salad, Lao sausage, and Basil Chicken Wok. All of it was delicious. The Boun green tea was also refreshing. Johnny gave us an idea to put the Lao sausage in a tortilla and garnish it with the papaya salad. It was so good the next day for lunch! We will definitely be back. There is so many dishes we want to try!"
"Updated to 4 star: Good experience with the Curry and Fried rice dishes. The Beef Meatballs were one-off subpar."
