"Nice park.We wanted to enjoy the early evening weather and take a stroll. We stopped by Debusk Park since they have a nice walking/jogging path. The trail runs all the way around the park. Most of it is cement, but there are sections of it that are bridges made out of wood, so watch your step. It helps break up the monotony of running on you average sidewalk. The path goes up and down some nice hills, through heavily wooded areas, and right along the side of some residential streets. There is a opening where you run next to and cross over a creek, so I can imagine that the mosquito population here can be pretty heavy. Be careful and wear some DEET. Probably the crown jewel of this park (for some people, not for me), is this huge play ground. When I say huge, I mean HUGE!!! It's a pretty massive structure of wooden beams and planks to climb and play on. The path cuts right by it, so if you take it the whole 1.44 miles around, you'll pass by it!Cool place if you want a change of scenery and a nice trail to walk. If you're close by, take a walk and enjoy Mesquite!"
"Great little range, and the staff is the friendliest! I love coming over to hit a few buckets. Some of the hitting areas could use a little work, the grass is sparse and beat up. But otherwise it's a great value and the putt-putt is fun too!"
"We were visiting the Denton area and we decided to check out this restaurant. located in the Robson Ranch community, it is a very nice restaurant which is open to the public. Not just residents of this retirement community. We ate there twice, once for lunch, once for dinner. Both meals were really nice and service was great. Everyone we encountered was friendly and accommodating."
"Great course, Great hostility, Good food and good service. We had a good round of golf and enjoyed a breakfast afterwards. They service breakfast all day. I recommend both the food and the golf and will visit again."
"I have been here several times now for golf tournaments through my job. The course is beautiful and very well kept. I really like the layout of their driving range as well. The club house facility was updated about a year or so giving it a great flow. What I was impressed the most would have to be their customer service. Starting right from when you first arrive they remove your golf clubs from your car and bring them to your assigned golf cart. They are very alert regarding thier customers, if it looks like someone needs a ride somewhere and or looks lost or they may need something they are very quick to help. I think the full staff is extremely professional."
"I needed a driver shaft cut down and installed an adapter on in 1 day and bob didn't let me down. Outstanding customer service and good conversation as well. I used to hit balls a long time ago there, range in really good shape"
"What a beautiful course! I spent a day here for a charity event and it was impressive. The course is beautiful, well maintained. The facilities are nice, though some are a little worn (bathrooms). When the event got chilly I heard the organizers asking the venue for outdoor heaters and the venue said they were all broken. That's a little disappointing. I would think those would be available. If I joined the club it would be disappointing to not be able to sit on the patio because they don't have outdoor heaters. But, again, I was impressed with the facilities and the ability to have the club member's have uninterrupted access while also having"
"I played this course last Thursday on my way to Dallas and was pleasantly surprised. The greens are a little small but in great shape. The carts have GPS in them, which was a nice thing to have on a course I had never played. The pace of play was very good. I was by myself and ended up pairing up with two gentlemen who lived on the course. They couldn't have been nicer. The round was $36 including a cart. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area."
"We were so excited to hear 1611 was coming to Burleson. We loved going to the ft worth location and we were happy to have one nearby. First of all - service is awesome. They greet you at the door and check on you throughout the visit. Food - we tried the sampler and the pizza and both were great. My son loves the fries and chicken - they gave him the wings without sauce since he likes them plain. Golf - our 8 year old is just as entertained as my husband who loves to golf. We come quite a bit so opted for the membership. It's the perfect weekend fun w the family or unwind during the week."
"Timarron is a private golf club owned by Club Corp. Timarron is a true golf club in that there are no tennis facilities or pool. It is labeled as a Byron Nelson Jewel. And is a great golf course. I might also add that it is not very expensive as private clubs go because it is " non-equity". There are memberships available as is true with all private clubs. Negotiate the fees with them before you commit."

I have taken my son to lots of parks in the area and this one is really impressive. It's got 3 wooden structures with many hidden passages and and slides. My son had a great time but I have to knock off a star because it's almost too big. visibility is low because of the way the structures are built so if you have a crazy toddler that you cant trust to play from afar I would suggest a different park. You could easily lose sight of a toddler and have to really stay on your toes here.

So I need to update the terrible experience my son and I had here in 2015. The current owners are amazing. Debbie is fantastic. We had a very pleasurable experience on a return, the first in 5 years...and we'll definitely be back. THANK YOU DEBBIE! You Rock!

Very people know how wonderful this place is. A crown jewel in Oak Cliffs crown that has been forgotten by the general public. The restaurant is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. You DO NOT have to be a member to eat there. The portions are generous and the food is good. Have your next meeting, reception there as the kitchen can feed 400 people at once. The chef has been there 25 years and the main waiter for 19!

Ok so I liked the club so much I actually joined the membership. I am an average golfer with around a 9 handicap and I really like this course. The greens crew do a great job maintaining the fairways and bermuda greens. The course is fairly short with few fairway bunkers but the greens are super slick and the rough around them can be tragic. There are some great oak trees that line the fairways and I believe some may even be a hundred years old. The dining experience here is drastically improved with the addition of chef Nate. There have also been renovations done to both the 19th hole and the more formal Oak room upstairs. I had the prime rib today and it was superb and the prices didnt wteck my wallet. The staff are hardworking and polite. The head golf pro Clayton seems like a super guy and I really feel this is one of the best bang for your buck golf experiences in the metroplex!

I really wanted to like this place, but sadly it didn't meet expectations. We chose this place to celebrate my grandfather's 100th birthday. The ambiance seemed great upon first impression -- the ballroom overlooks the driving range, and golf is his favorite pastime. My aunts did a menu tasting before the event and they said the food was great. They chose the following options: steak wedge salad, chicken florentine, and salmon and rice. However the day of the event was such a disappointment. The steaks were super inconsistent-- some of us had rare, some of us had medium rare, and I had a well done piece. What seemed strange about my steak is that it tasted...like organ meat?! I thought I was going crazy. My family tried it and they agreed something was extremely off about the taste. My cousin was struggling to cut his chicken florentine because it was so dry. The biggest offender was the salmon and rice... everyone who ordered this option received UNDERCOOKED RICE! Rice is one of the hardest things to mess up, especially if you use a rice cooker... The bread and butter that was served was dry and unmemorable. It's sad when the appetizers outshine the main dishes. The fruit plate upon seating was well presented. The Beef Wellington (A+ chef's kiss) and coconut shrimp were the saving grace of the event. The pork potstickers were just okay.We had paid drinks as an option, but I don't drink so I asked for a club soda. It came in a plastic bottle and it tasted like plastic. Outside of food, the ballroom provided us a projector. The AV team didn't seem super knowledgeable as it took 30 minutes to get the video AND audio up and going. Overall it wasn't the best in terms of food and the projector, but the room itself was great and the appetizers provided something to remember. Nonetheless, I'm grateful we had a place to create memories for my grandfather's 100th. Highly would not recommend this place for a wedding though unless you're looking to be disappointed.

For that tuck deep in the country feel you'll love getting away to the beautiful 18 hole public course. From beginner to pro they have it all. We really got spoiled by the gps in the carts (how far is my ball really from the pin?) to pressing the button for one of the sweet gals to bring you lunch or a cold drink. Wow!

"So, I read many reviews about this course and noticed people rate this course because the cart's disabling near trees and the marshals following them. Well, I get tired of people golfing who think they can do whatever they want on the course and have no respect for other golfers, the course or the facilities equipment. I play 6 times per month and get tired of playing 5-6 hour rounds. This golf course is in excellent shape and the staff was kind and very helpful; amazing, low green fees for the shape of this course (which was excellent). If you're looking for a good pace for an excellent deal play this course. And of course if you're going out to party and not follow golf etiquette, go to Topgolf! Oh, by the way, the marshal's job is to keep pace of play in check and the carts shut off so you don't drive them into the water or woods! Will certainly play this course again many times."
"Great golf course. Poor golf game. Only thing I wish would change here is the space they have allocated for the driving range. Beware there are only 3 bays."
"Overview of courseResidential community course but homes do not get in the way of play. Almost all the greens are well protected by water or bunkers. Water and very clean restrooms on course as well Pro ShopWell appointed with a good selection of basic needs, balls hats etc. Staff was very professional and courteous. Carts are clean and well maintained Practice areaExcellent. Balls are not flight restricted and in very good shape. Practice tees are in good condition and the range is long enough to let to wallop the driver. A very nice chipping and pitching area with a greenside bunker is great to get you ready for your round. Practice you will not regret it The putting green is in excellent shape and very challenging. Get some work in here ; trust me you will need it Front Nine The first hole is a nice way to get started. Trouble is at about 230 but straight. From 2 on it gets challenging. The greens are large and can be very fast. The practice you did on the putting game will help... you did practice , right ? The putting is tough on this course. By the end of the front nine your game has been challenged and if your like me a couple balls went swimming. The back nine The back nine is easier. More open and it's mostly a tactical nine. Play for position not distance to avoid hazards. A few of the holes long bombers can get some strokes back. The final hole is a fun up hill to the Wildhorse Grill at the top of the hill. A nice way to end the round Amenities The grill is very nice the food is good the prices reasonable. The wait staff is attentive and prompt. The 19th hole is a fun atmosphere and they often have live music if you have a late afternoon round to enjoy as well."
"As part of the AREMA conference, there was a welcome reception hosted at this location. Since the conference had about 300 people, we had the whole place to ourselves and therefore the number of bays was more than enough for folks to enjoy hitting a few balls and having a bite to eat and drink while socializing and networking. I can see why these type of places are a big hit now because you have the fun of being at a driving range without all the etiquette of being at a club. Overall i thought the food to be ok but nothing to rave about as we just had sliders, chicken strips, fries, and general bar finger foods. I did think the beer selection here was pretty good which for a social networking event is a plus as typically when you have networking events in a hotel your limited to a hotel bar which mainly only serves 3-4 different types of canned beer."
"This pretty much the only game in town as far as practice facilities go. It's a good one though. They take care of the place. I know cuz I was chipping on a putt only green and they ran out to stop me. I just know they do that to everyone they catch. Thanks. I really like that they're open til 10:00! The balls are always washed and in pretty great condition. Not other places that use old balls. I been coming here for some years now. It's close to the house and reasonably priced."
"The course was in great shape. Pretty wide open with some challenging greens. Price was great ($44w cart) Would def be here on the regular if I lived in Texas."
"Beautiful country club and golf course. It is a really nice place and seems to be well run. We had a great time there."
"A co-worker and I traveled to Dallas for business and decided to try this course even though the reviews were mixed. Turning onto the property we drove between mansions... 6000ft2+, 6-car garages ... some looked like Tara (GWTW).The course was in good condition except for some of the bunkers and greens. The sand was not conditioned and some were bereft of sand making for inconsistent play. The greens were bumpy even their speed was good.We rented clubs and that was a major disappointment for me... the Titleist set (AP1) didn't have a full set of wedges and the settings of the TS2 driver were way off from standard. No sand wedge made for interesting choices in the inconsistent bunkers. The wind was blowing 20mph+ which added to our challenge. My co-worker played well for 8 holes but the Sawgrass 17th (our 9th) got him. I had trouble with tee shots due to the length and weight of the driver so it was a long day for me.We liked the course and would like to play it with our own clubs. Guarded recommendation due to the bunkers and rental clubs. If you play with your own clubs I think you will enjoy this course."
"Nice Place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Their food was pretty good. My son plays golf here so we come every Sunday. I really enjoyed their Southwestern Egg rolls and Paw Paw Burger."
"Really beautiful course. Obviously I don't live here- not balling like that.. but I have attended numerous charity golf tournaments here with work. All the staff is very accommodating and friendly. The Pro shop is smaller than some of the nicer courses I have been too, but the Lockers rooms are lovely here. There is a huge gym, two powder areas, a fan room, steam room, showers with a hot tub and a lounge area. The food is always decent as well. They have a huge terrace that over looks the 18th hole- and it faces West so you get a gorgeous sunset at dinner. This course is private, so you have to be invited by a member or resident. Watch out for dog poop- I couldn't believe how much there was everywhere- I guess the residents don't feel obligated to clean up after their pets."
"I think this a very good golf course and offers a good golf experience. The staff is helpful and professional in their approach to help you get onto the course and book tee times. The clubhouse is very interesting and I have not found out the backstory with it yet. No outside service when I played due to Covid-19. However, I felt safe the entire round. Walking is not a problem and my threesome made it around in 4 hours and twenty minutes and it was fairly busy.Tees, fairways and greens are all solid and in excellent condition. Nice work by the superintendent and his or her crew. Fun layout and a fair test all the way around. I would like to play it again soon.Pro tip *hybrid or fairway off number one tee"
"This lake was beautiful. Small, but beautiful. It had a curved bridge over the lake and at another point of the lake, there's a short bridge that leads to a small patch of land too. There were so many ducks/geese there too. More than I've seen at any park in awhile. When I went on a Sunday evening, there was a good amount of people sitting on lawn chairs, laying on blankets, fishing, and walking/running/biking! It felt very peaceful. There was also a very nice view of the sunset. I'd highly recommend visiting this lake!"
"This is the spot to be in Burleson! Big action poker, delicious drinks & 2 super fun golf simulators! Don't miss out on the John Daily drink! It's so refreshing & light! I can't wait to come back for more tournaments!"
"Great golf atmosphere. Nice course layout. Greens are consistent and well maintained. With spring in full bloom the fairways will get the grass growing and I look forward to getting in a round here again. Very soon."
"Great golf course. Right next to Lake Lewisville Campground. Nice course friendly people. Good time golfing."
"Thorntree Country Club opened in 1984. Dress code required. It's has 6 beautiful lakes and still claims to be one of the toughest golf courses in the Dallas~Ft Worth metroplex. Met my son here for awesome conversations, and a couple drinks."
