"We stopped in as a party of 5 Sunday evening, and were acknowledged right away by the bartender but had to wait a little over 5 mins for someone to actually come and seat us. Our server was very nice and efficient. We ordered fried pickles and fried jalapeños as well as the queso, salsa and chips - everything was yummy. My kids both ordered the steak fingers and fries and enjoyed their meals. We ordered two single meat plates with chopped meat- chopped brisket onion rings and okra and the Tennessee Texas hot sandwich with chips. Tennessee Texas hot sandwich was misleading bc it was not spicy although the breading was red and was not flavored. It was very underwhelming but everything else was great. I will say, Bathrooms were small and dirty. My son went into the men's restroom and walked right back out stating it was too dirty for him to use. If in the area, we would prob stop again."
"Overall, I really like this burger spot. I do not recommend calling in your order to go because they can be so hit or miss. However, I would order there and get it to go. Random, however almost all my "call-in" orders have been wrong and/or overcooked. Nonetheless, they are courteous and have good cooked-to-order hamburgers. Food: 9.8/10Service: 8.7/10Ambiance: 8.5/10"

"Service was good and the portion sizes are definitely Texas made. The front door was super weird though, took us a little bit to figure out that was the entrance. The food was also on the salty side. The brussel sprouts were my favorite thing I ate, I could've just eaten those by themselves."
"Ordered take out .... This place is very good! I got a half Philly and wings so yummy ! Can't wait to go back. My wife got the burger, Tasted so good ! The chili fries are also very good. Service was good got my food pretty fast."
"We loved the ambiance of this restaurant! The decor was on point and the vibes were right up our alley! This place is a hidden gem in McKinney, and we can't wait to bring friends and family here. It's the perfect spot to hangout and grab drinks. The food wasn't spectacular- it's just your typical bar food, nothing super unique about it. Service and ambiance were a 10/10! Can't wait to come back!"
"Burgers are the bomb!! This is a must stop by if your cruising through benbrook. Freshly made with good beef"
"Bad food, bad service, high prices, poor quality food .. We got the brisket tacos ($16), cajun shrimp + avocado($20), and the parmesan truffle fries. The brisket was super dry and the taco itself was even more dry. It came with a side of corn that was made from frozen corn and was tasteless, too. The cajun shrimp + avocado dish barely had any avocado in it and it also came on a bed of tasteless frozen corn. The parmesan fries were the best thing we ordered but they came out room temperature. Our server didn't come to our table until 15+ minutes after we were seated. Another server was busy chit chatting with his friends and kept his table waiting for long periods at a time because he was distracted. The ambience was pretty nice but all the other downsides are definitely going to keep us from coming back here unless there is a family gathering or birthday we are invited to. Pro's : Has a good amount of parking, easy to find, good location if you live in Coppell."
"We came here in August 2024 after a concert at nearby Dickies Arena. The staff warmly greeted us and we sat at the bar. The beer was good and cold and went down nicely after a long hot day. The nachos we ordered were spectacular. They were loaded down with fresh ingredients. The pico de gallo and fresh jalapeño slices were great as was the queso fresco. The pile of goodness tasted fresh and clean - and the chicken we added was also delicious. The kitchen did a great job of making sure that the toppings were all throughout the layers. For the food and service and ambiance - we would definitely return."
"Come hungry! Portions here are very generous and filling -- I thought prices were fair for the amount of food of you get. We ordered the Cowboy Cobb Salad, Tostada Chips & Queso, Firebird, Hand-punched Fries, and a Chocolate Milkshake. Everything was pretty good! I especially liked how generous the Cowboy Cobb was -- it was my entire entree, but I had to share with it my husband because of how much food there was. My husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich very much -- it was pretty spicy; and a mess to eat. Queso was actually a bit too salty, so we couldn't eat too much of it, but the milkshake really balanced it out. It was really hot when we came, so we couldn't sit outside, but there were tables and high-tops inside to choose from. The decorations and theme were super fun -- it was loud and casual. Service was the weak point of this experience. It was self-seating, so it kinda felt like we were initially ignored or forgotten by the staff, even after smiling, making eye contact, and waving at someone. It looked like there were a lot of waitstaff, but only one gentleman (Tramaine) was running around and helping the tables. He took our order and checked up on us periodically, so he was actually great; but I'm not even sure if we were technically in his section because it felt like he was running around the entire restaurant and I remember thinking that the others should be helping more. As a result, service was a bit slow; but I can't fault Tramaine for that as it was a pretty busy evening. Overall, it was a good experience! We really enjoyed the food and thought the theming was nice. The restaurant is also located in a nice plaza where you can walk around afterwards to get some fresh air and digest. LOL."
"Conveniently located and met by friendly and attentive staff. Very open dining area and bar but I selected a quiet table near the entrance I had the all you can eat beef ribs. I made it through about 10. Tasty and well prepared but not loaded with meat. The sides were tasty as well. Definitely give this place a try. Of course there are a lot of great restaurants in the downtown area but this one shouldn't be missed"
"Amazing burgers. Big, juicy burger patty seasoned and cooked to perfection. They use a bun that's very similar to Hawaiian rolls, so it adds a unique sweetness to the sandwich. There is a nice variety of burgers to choose from. Over the years I think I've tried each of them at least once, and I haven't had a bad meal here. The fries are also done well with a slightly crispy exterior and a soft, starchy center.Tuesdays are half price burgers. It's a killer deal and feels unreal when you look at your meal and you look at what you paid for it.They also have a bar, salads, and a few dessert options. The interior is decorated well with TCU theme because it's right across the street from TCU. Floors do seem like they are always sticky, flies are sometimes inevitable, and parking is the worst, but these things are not egregious enough for me to knock down a star."
"Wow. First we went on a Friday, first game of the WS. What an event and what an incredible location. We grabbed a few things for dinner and order a few buckets of drinks. The meal we had the fish tacos, yes fish tacos in this location. Fresh and delicious. Not soggy and crisp in the tortilla. Salsa was good, but not spicy. We also had the chicken fried steak burger, which was good but the gravy, well was not fantastic and could do without it. It was very thin and not too thick where it would not stick to the steak on the burger. Fries were good, both sweet potato and nacho fries. For the bar, fantastic service and impeccable care. It was so good, we went back on Sunday after the Dallas game to sit down and watch the late Sunday game there. Ambiance was bar scene. It want quiet, so don't think the going for a quiet evening. It was loud and lively. Go and have some fun."

Wow. Just wow. Please. Just please stop by this spot. Onion rings.. oh hey, sorry.Hi everybody. Decor is similar to Hodads in San Diego. Rustic, tin roofy, hodgepodge but hip. It's about the beef here. Thick patties, red onions sauteed. Cheddar.Onion rings look thick, but when you bite in. When you bite in. Think apple fritter light, but onion inside, and beer batter that's made from real beer. Like a lager. Like eating air/beer/onion. These should only be available at the State fair. We don't deserve these year 'round. That good.Service was spectacular. Service was on it like a hawk. Laser focused on making it an great experience.I skipped breakfast, super light early lunch. So this was dinner, and I was hungry, hungry. Um. I was full half way in. Done. I finished on pure greed for more flavor. I was in a burger trance. Take care, eat here.

What a spectacular dining experience! We had the pleasure of having an amazing meal last night at NS in Addison (I have also loved my visits to the Oak Lawn and Lovers Ln locations)The food was incredible (the shrimp and grits are my favorite and the chocolate brownie is to die for), the cocktails were created by a talented mixologist, and the staff is outstanding. Many thanks to Nammi (management), Mike (manager) and Edward (server). We felt pampered all evening. I have traveled the world and have had many fine dining experiences, but this was one of my favorite! Nammi explained to me that they call it Neighborhood Services because they want to be part of the community and they treat their guests like they were close neighbors, and that certainly comes through in their warm interactions and their high level of service. It is now my go-to place!

The place was busy, it's a seat-yourself kind of place. The vibe is very lively and jolly, the current theme is Tinsel town, some employees are wearing Christmas outfits. The Grinch came by and went to say hi to the kids. The alcoholic beverages were pretty good, they don't skimp on the alcohol for sure! I ordered the Serrano ceasar salad, it was a little spicy and sweet. I added blackened Salmon which is a little bit on the salty side( I think i prefer the original Caesar salad ). My son likes his burger with bbq sauce , fried onion and bacon. Hubby had the dirty dog which he likes, I didn't care much for the chili sauce that came with it, had a little bit much cumin I think. Our Server was very friendly and she made sure to check on us . The live music was an added bonus. I would definitely come back again, the place and the vibe is pretty fun.

"Hot diggity dog, that's a burger!", said my 6'5'' 225lb husband. We've only been back in Texas for a few weeks and Fuego Burger has quickly become his new favorite burger joint. In fact, he went on consecutive days this week. Once with a co-worker and once with me, because he had to experience it again. So why is it so good? 1. The pride the owner has for his product and restaurant!2. Attention to detail. 3. Great (maybe the greatest) craft soda selection in town!4. The buns! These babies are homemade and squishy. 5. The onion rings... you get the whole onion! 6. Burgers be stacked! Thick patty. 7. BIG MENU... there's lots to try! 8. No frills, just good service and good grub. Are we going back?I don't think I have a choice... my husband wants to be a regular!

Our order was wrong, it seems that the cooker is not reading the instructions that our server made. I requested grilled onion on my teriyaki chicken bowl, it was raw. We ordered bacon on the sandwich, it wasn't there. I requested SWEET Ice tea, they don't have is labeled - so, very disappointed. But the server saved the dinner, he was always pending and fixing the mistakes... but maybe we won't return.

Tried this place out because of the great reviews. I had the bourbon and berries drink, it was really good. The food was pretty good. My husband loved the burger and I enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak. On the downside the service was just okay. They have the outside wide open to the inside so there was several flies constantly trying to get to our food. If I were to get food again from here it would be to go.

"Stumpy's Lakeside Grill: A Five-Star Gem by the LakeI am a seasoned foodie and can honestly say that Stumpy's Lakeside Grill is top-notch! This restaurant is located by the waters of Lake Granbury. It's a delightful culinary experience that keeps attracting us back for lunch and dinner. The food and the lake view at this place never disappoint; this is no exaggeration.First things first; let us talk about burgers. These are not your typical shapeless pieces of meat but rather juicy works of art that come with your choice of toppings from their burger bar. Fries are always golden and crispy but perfectly soft in the middle. Furthermore, their fresh, warm, self-serve tortilla chips - made complete with two salsa options are a nice bonus. In my opinion, the addition of queso to their menu would undoubtedly shoot this place into legendary status!Dining at Stumpy's involves the use of all senses. Our favorite tables are located outside where we can view geese and ducks glide across the lake's surface amid its astounding beauty. My daughter also loves feeding them and asks to go see the "quack-quack ducks" all the time. After dining here, you must visit the sweet shop. What I can tell you is that there is nothing like their homemade cupcakes or cookies- they taste so good! Also, make sure to check out the front area that has a gift shop. Our daughter has picked out a cute stuffed animal on several occasions. These are the small things that make this place extra special. One small piece of advice though; it gets crowded at times so whenever possible ensure to arrive early or on weekdays before 5 PM. Planning is advisable given the experience one gets at Stumpy's if visiting during popular hours or on the weekend.Their staff has always been nice each time we go which adds more to the friendly feeling that welcomes everyone who enters Stumpy's.We stumbled upon Stumpy's while looking for a place to eat using Yelp and since then it has been one of our favorite places in Granbury. This is a five-star paradise situated by the lake offering scrumptious meals, top-quality service, and amazing scenery. Make sure not to miss out on this delightful dining experience!Yum!!!"
"Food was hot and fresh Burger was cooked perfectly grilled onions properly caramelized cheese medley and deliciousEven the marbled rye bread was toasted perfectly not too hard The fries were heaped with bacon and cheese and were equally magnificent I will definitely come back here when in the area"
"Wow. Seriously tasty and fresh. Way bett3r than expected...and friendly service! This gem is located on Rufe Snow. I hit the drive-thru and order3d their 1/4 pounder with cheese meal. I traded the fries for onion rings. My diet coke was HUUUuuuuGE....and was even better than McDonald's fountain drinks! Truth! The burger was really good and held fresh veggies. The onion rings needed a little salt, but oh so good. I went through the drive thru, so the ambiance was minimal...but i love seeing Tex with the big yellow star. Did I mention the soft delicious bun?! So good!"
"Searched online for a burger place and this came up in our search. We like what the webpage had to say. We were not disappointed. For sure that old time diner feel. Our server Carolanne was amazing. Burgers and fresh cut fries for both of us. One added a fried egg Burgers was cooked as ordered. $25 for 2 people for lunch........can't think of another place for great food at that price."
"Shockingly excellent.. I was not expecting it to be so good.. had the avocado burger with fries.. new fav hamburger restaurant."
"If you are craving a good burger, you must stop by! We had an avocado burger I meant to ask for no onions but it was good with it! Also upgraded halfy order of the onion rings. Very delicious but kinda bigger than expected and the batter was a good taste! Cute patio set up! Restroom could be cleaner! Served fast and hot!"
"Food tasted great! Our fries came out first, way before our burgers, which is being nit picky, but just wish it would've been with our burgers. Service was just okay. We had a weird encounter with one of the workers there who kept cleaning our table as we were still eating and we told him on 3 different occasions we weren't done."
"Oh my goodness. We have been wanting to go here for a while but they were closed for repairs or something. When we passed by one day we saw that they were open and had to try it out.I love kimchi. Kimchi is love, kimchi is life. So when I saw the Kimchi burger I was immediately drawn to it. I'm not a burger fan, so at first I was skeptical to try a burger with kimchi and take the risk of the kimchi not being great. With my husband cheering me on to try it, I ordered it.We sat down, and our orders were brought to us. My goodness guys. These burgers were the size of my head. The pictures I took do not do them justice. We are staring at these two behemoths and don't even know how to start. One thing I do want to suggest is maybe giving us like a knife or asking if we wanted it cut in half. Maybe there were knives somewhere but I just didn't see, but I will definitely be asking for it to be cut next time! This burger was perfection. The kimchi was amazing, the burger was tender and juicy. The only bad thing is, I couldn't even finish 1/4 of it. Well is that a bad thing? I asked for to go boxes and ate the rest throughout the day. Literally a meal that fed me all day. The staff=amazing. The burgers and fries=fantastic. The atmosphere=chill and I was boping with the music.I will return to try more items from the menu, why would I not?!"
"First time trying this place and it was pretty good. I gave it five stars for service. The guy taking our order was so awesome and friendly. I like when you go in a place and they treat you like family and this felt that way. The burger challenge was no obstacle for my husband who just ordered this as his normal appetite meal. The fries were okay but the burgers are better. They did have a patio outside with table which is a plus. Not many burger places around here with outdoor dining."
"American bar food - and it's really good! The Flips burger is my fave. Definitely try their chili and chili dogs...so good. Service is great - ask for Cory!! Environment is friendly. They have a smoking side and patio, plus a non-smoking side."
"We tried the new Burgers & Curries. It has an unfortunate location on Custer because as you go north from Hedgecox it's right on the curve. The had 20 items on their buffet. All were well spiced. Some had too much chili for my wife but the spices were very good. The rasam (soup?) was the best I've had in years. The chili chicken curry had a great aroma and flavor. We will definitely be back."
"Triple A Cafe for breakfast this morning and damn was it a great way to start the day! Yogurt parfait paired with the power pack consisting of 4 eggs, 3 bacon and 2 sausage patties filled me right up washed down with a delicious hot chocolate. Service was great! She was always quick and i was well taken care of. They had nice music playing some hits from 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s so variety for everyone to enjoy. Overall 5/5 I would highly recommend breakfast or Lunch here you will not be disappointed."
"Late night visit. After the Longhorns win at the ballpark. Greeted & sat promptly. Had a waitress named Karla. The visit went up from there. She was helpful & funny. We ordered wings with celery & Blu cheese dressing. She brought our order & checked with us regularly. Very attentive & a great personality! Ask for Karla"
"I didn't want to like this place because the prices are a little bit steep, but that can't stop me!I had a little bit of Sticker shock when a bacon cheeseburger and french fries and a drink cost me $18. I thought this must be good or at least it better be lolFact of the matter is that it is delicious! Hand form, not frozen patties grilled fresh to order they were amazing. The service was friendly and fast, making this a perfect place to hit on the lunch hour and not be late coming back from work. The ambience is kind of a nice little deli vibe with a small town feel."
"Finally stopped in for lunch. The garlic burger with cheese was really good! Def wasn't very garlicky but was good. Husband got the blue cheese burger. Had waaay too much sauce! (Lots of spicy mayo and too much blue cheese in our opinion). We took a bunch of sauce off of it and it was still very "blue- cheesy". Upgraded fries to truffle Parmesan fries and sauce which was awesome!! Tried the hot potato salad (also good) and a mini brat, which is about 2-3 bites but gives you an idea. That was excellent!!!All in all, it was great lunch at a local mom/pops place. We will definitely be back!"
"I was really impressed with the porch. I met a friend for brunch and wanted to meet at a spot that wasn't far for either of us. This place had good reviews. It's in a shopping center and was easy to find. The restaurant itself was a decent size. Not to big or to small. It wasn't a lot of people when we got there so it was quiet. Our waitress was really good and fast with a bubbly personality. No complaints there. I love pancakes so that's what I got with a side of bacon. The pancakes were so big and fluffy reminded me of the ones my grandmother used to make back in the day. The bacon was good and crunchy. Both me and my friend said we would be back"
"This counter service restaurant is full of nostalgic memorabilia. We were greeted warmly upon entering. The food was served quickly. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. I got the Chicken Philly and my husband enjoyed his Cowboy Burger. This place is a Denton go-to for quick eats. Highly recommend checking it out."
"Went here last night for the first time in probably ten years. The food was not what I remembered. The burgers were decent but the fries were either undercooked or over salted. One person in our party got the fish and chips, the fish wasn't done and the cole slaw was just gross. I ordered a top shelf margarita and it was so sweet I almost couldn't drink it. The service was good but was kind of confusing as to who was supposed to be taking care of you. We told our server about the fish and they took it off the ticket which was much appreciated. Gave 3 stars for the beer and pool prices."
"Glad we stopped by to try this place! Burgers are to die for! Ver juicy and packed with flavor! The side of pickles and chili cheese fries were great too! I would recommend this place! Next time we're back in town, this will be a must!"
"I really enjoyed this place! Our waitress was super sweet and we got pretty fast service. It's a pretty big place as well. I was surprised they had a drink menu. I had a mango margarita which was surprisingly delicious! The burger itself was great as well. I would definitely be backed"
"Great burger spot. Fresh patty and buttered bread. Price is reasonable. You order your food at the counter but they'll pick up your place when your done. Not a bad spot to come for lunch"
"Hidden gem! First time here and had an absolutely delicious meal! I was greeted as soon as I came in and noticed great music playing and well decorated interior. There was soju in different flavors, beer and fountain drinks for those not wanting any alcohol. The chicken was full of flavor and well marinated. Every bite was juicy and exceptional. The servings are large and perfectly seasoned. The kimchi fries were also fantastic. The cooked kimchi combined with the cheese, chicken pieces and fries were out of of this world. Fast and friendly service and just a great place. There was no food left and am already looking forward to coming back. I highly recommend you come try might chick sando, you won't regret it!"
"Why no one ever told me of this place. OMG, this is one of the best hidden gems in Denton. May not be so hidden. Perhaps I'm the last one to know about it. Before the first bite, I was in love. The waitress was wonderful. She walked us through the menu and was as much excited as we were. Then the food was to die for. I had the chicken omelette, but I want to try everything on the menu. This my new Saturday hangout. Please try this place out. You will not be disappointed."
