"We stopped in as a party of 5 Sunday evening, and were acknowledged right away by the bartender but had to wait a little over 5 mins for someone to actually come and seat us. Our server was very nice and efficient. We ordered fried pickles and fried jalapeños as well as the queso, salsa and chips - everything was yummy. My kids both ordered the steak fingers and fries and enjoyed their meals. We ordered two single meat plates with chopped meat- chopped brisket onion rings and okra and the Tennessee Texas hot sandwich with chips. Tennessee Texas hot sandwich was misleading bc it was not spicy although the breading was red and was not flavored. It was very underwhelming but everything else was great. I will say, Bathrooms were small and dirty. My son went into the men's restroom and walked right back out stating it was too dirty for him to use. If in the area, we would prob stop again."

Popular menu items include: slow-cooked brisket, juicy ribs, house-made sausages, fried catfish, blackened tilapia, collard greens, candied sweet potatoes, and mac and cheese.I ordered " The Smoke Plate" brisket with collard greens and Mac n cheese. We had time for brunch. Open up Yelp to see if anyone has found a spot.Of course you have. Maple Landing. I love plane spotting. The patio at Maple Landing perfectly faces the take off path of Southwest Airlines. The service is incredible. No sooner than seated, our beverage orders were taken. Some great suggestions were offered. They had brisket sausage. Yes, for brunch. I had the fluffiest french toast, with a ginormous pile of the plumpest, juiciest fresh blueberries ever. My eggs were a perfect over medium. My son ordered pancakes. To be honest, as big as they were, one would have been plenty. Super light, rose high enough to block a planes take off. Topped with caramalized bananas, nothing needed syrup. Best of all was the service. Every aspect of this experience was 6 star. Yelp has kind of spoiled me. I know know what to expect, and where to find it. The food and service was 5 star. The patio view of others flying off to great adventures earned a 6th star. I got the ribs which were everyone's fave. They came with rice and brown gravy, and two side. The brown gravy tasted like the powdered mix to me, but you better believe I ate it...I didn't love the cabbage, it was a little bland, BUT, the collard greens were bomb!My pals got catfish and seemed to enjoy that as well, it was fresh and cooked to order. Think Chick-fil-A nuggets compared to McNuggets. Great flavor & smoke. The Mac & cheese was pretty spicy & had something crunchy on top that added a bit of depth. We both really liked it - especially dipped in the BBQ sauce provided on each table. Only thing that could be improved on was the girl at the counter. Acted like she would've rather been anywhere else. Seems like a pretty good place to be as far as I can tell."

Same with the Korean sidedishes served as an appetizer. The interior of the restaurant is huge. Looks like they have a second floor as well. And Sura was empty during weekday lunchtime. If you're looking for good Korean food and don't want to deal with the crowds at Carrollton, then I'd recommend Sura."

"The Texans do not play when it comes to their BBQ. It's damn good!The brisket just melts in your mouth. The fattier the better in my book. My brother suggested trying the Texas Twinkie (large Jalapeño stuffed with brisket and cream cheese wrapped in bacon) and the Jalapeño Cheddar sausage... didn't take much convincing. Anything Jalapeño is a must-try for me! They weren't spicy, packed the perfect punch of flavor. The Mac was good (not the best I've had), the corn was alright (not my fave), and the corn bread was good. I was starving when I placed my order so I ordered a little more than I could handle. My leftovers were practically a whole new meal. The guys behind the counter were super friendly and answered all of my questions without making me feel like a bother. The place is big, very spacious, plenty of seating inside and outside. Apparently I missed a spectacular view of the sunset from the top floor with my nephew while I was in the restroom washing my hands. Bummer! Oh! & as if they couldn't get any better... they offered all you could eat dessert! Your choice of Banana Pudding or Peach Cobbler!!! Plus, ice cream to top them off. I went back for seconds of that Peach Cobbler that's for sure. Yum! This is my nephew's favorite BBQ joint and the kid knows his food (he's four). His parents taught him well! We love food!"

The cheese was like off brand Velveeta, but the brisket helped it out a lot. Elotes was definitely a miss. Pretty bland and, again, served lukewarm. Chopped brisket sandwich was good albeit a bit on the salty side. Decent meal, but wouldn't come back tbh."

I did not eat them, and would ask to sub one of the sides from the line next time.Overall, this is a fantastic place for a filling value dinner. I loved that the veggie bar was self-serve because I like a lot more veggies than my spouse does, so I was able to fill up on whatever I wanted while he was cramming his face full of meats. My only complaint was that they no longer have a reduced lunch price for their menu; it's just the same flat price for all you can eat on the shabu side or the KBBQ side."

And so happy I came when they have collard greens cause they're some of the best I ever had. I ordered 2 meats combo (comes with rice). The portion was very generous and I had enough for a second meal. This came out to be $~20. The BBQ pork was crispy and delicious.
