"This entertainment c NYT is pretty sweet. There is so much going on inside, including a small zip lining area. There's an entire game area that's unbelievable. There's also a restaurant that's inside and outside, and has large screens for tv viewing. The theaters are LARGE with recliners and pods. Lots of room to stretch out. So much sound the chairs shake. The popcorn and drinks are self-serve, so I was shocked that they ask for tips. Of course it's up to you if you tip or not -- you could always tip yourself. But once inside in the recliners, you can order food to be delivered. That'd be a good time to tip."
"I've heard of this chain through ads that pop up, and i was curious about it. I don't know anyone who has done this as of yet. So, it was my first time. My family decided to go during Thanksgiving week it's a popular activity to do as I saw other groups doing it too. It was fun, but if your child is under 5 years old, I don't think they will understand. There's different AR type of games to play based on age and experience. We did both angry birds for the kids and one adult. Another game for adults called squid games. Squid games were hard to play, but it was fun. You build up a sweat, so wear lighter clothes, and there are no holders for your belongings, so leave it in the car or at home. They do tally up your score and post it up for everyone to see. At the end, you do a short dance with your group that's made into a gif."
"We went here because of a pogo pass we purchased and are doing our damndest to take advantage of. We are not typical indoor playground people, mostly preferring the free and outdoor city park options.I thought this was an excellent choice for a billion degree afternoon when forcing my kids to play outside felt like it crossed a line into questionable parenting. It's basically a big McDonalds play place (like 10x the size) they can run around in for as long as they want. No time limit. Shoes off, socks required. On a Tuesday evening in the summer it was not crowded at all.I do have to tell you that my kids have renamed this place "poopmania" because they discovered not one but TWO separate poops on the play equipment in our two hour time span there. To their credit, the Kid Mania staff was prompt and thorough in their cleanup/sanitizing process, but the experience was still a little unsettling. How exactly does this occur with such frequency? Regardless, I don't blame "poopmania" for this experience, and we will for sure be back to use our second pogo pass and let the kids get some energy out on a hot or rainy day in the future."
"Overall had a pretty good time coming here with a group of friends! It was fun to try out all of the different games that were available but some of the buttons on the arcade cabinets or consoles were non functional which was a bit of a bummer. Good selection of games though! My friends ordered some of the specialty shots that they were decent but a little bit too sweet for my personal taste.Overall recommend for a chill arcade night with friends!"
"Time Rift Arcade is a sister location to Electric Starship off of 377. Its a great location, in a shopping center with two restaurants in the same strip, with a few other restaurants across Harwood & Central, and dessert options. Plus, Time Rift does have drinks and some snack options. They have a number of old school consoles to be able to play on, along with a lot of awesome arcade games & pinball machines. Staff was friendly, and when we had an issue with one of the games not working, they came over to get it fixed really quickly for us. They have a small party room that you can reserve if you're planning on having a birthday party or get together here. It very much that dash of nostalgia that folks can enjoy!"
"Cool concept just a bit outdated. The place reminded me of diversions game room. It has a bunch of arcade games and game counsels such as Nintendo/Xbox. We ordered a combo meal deal they had on the menu. It came with a large pizza, cheese sticks, fries/onion rings and 15 wings. The pizza and wings were better than we expected. The wings were just the right amount of crisp and very flavorful. Props to our server. He did great given that our party was large and assisted us mostly himself. He was never rude and attended to whatever we needed. Check in on Yelp and receive a free dessert."
"Precious little place inside Hulen Mall for pretend play! On a Tuesday morning, there were about 5 other parent-child pairs that came and went during our time, and still plenty of space to move around. There's a little deli, salon, diner, market, sushi bar, and more! Just over the low wall is an arcade area for older kids, so big brother/sister can have fun nearby while little siblings play with durable, textured toys. It's true from other reviews that the one worker could have taken a more active role in keeping things organized, but So Could The Many Parents. What's on your phone that's more urgent than your tiny tornado throwing toys all over the place? $10 total for me and my 2yo."
"We decided to do a company outing, and Cidercade won the most votes. Upon arrival, they have a parking lot in the front that was full since it was around 5:00pmish on a Friday. I didn't feel like street parking since you do tread into the residential area if it gets super packed. Luckily, I found some parking in the back of the building next to Splinters Axes & Ales. This place surely exceeded my expectation. Think arcade, food, and cider! The foodie in me would talk about the grub first. Their 10" thin-crust pizzas were delicious. I love how they have the flexibility of substituting the crust to either gluten-free or cauliflower for an extra free. The margherita pizza was light, flavorful, and yummy. The meat lover's pizza was on the drier side, but just as good. One of my coworkers was not a fan of pizza in general, so she opted for the cinnamon roll pizza that was a little too sweet for her palate. They also offer salads if you are avoiding carb overload. As for drinks, I had the unlimited soda, but in reality could only finish one cup of soda. Let's talk about the games. I had loads of fun playing Pac-Man and basketball arcade. Be prepared for pinball machines, pool tables, etc. The machines may look like you need tokens or coins, but the games are unlimited with the admission fee. It's definitely a great atmosphere for both the young and old to have a good time. Service was fast and efficient. I shall be back in the future."
"I think what makes this place special is the employees, they are always nice and respectful and do their best to help you have fun! Yes, the place is old, but I think it still provides a fun environment, we need to support these type of businesses as it would be sad to see this place go, it's been here since I was in high school. The place is not full so that makes it a lot better for families and groups to enjoy their visit. We mainly come for putt putt and go karting and it's always a great experience.I suggest you look at their discounts, we always get their deals otherwise, it can get pricey pretty quickly. These are posted at the entrance."
"Where do I start. Me and the family got a chance to visit as a part of our pogo pass. It was alright. We chose to bowl, it's nothing special but decent for the price. It's also a good time for the family. I would suggest that they get better games tho. A lot of them seem redundant. Good for about an hour worth and that's it."
"I went to Gameway using the Priority pass and was able to have some fun for an hour. They provided a free drink and a snack with the pass check in. The place was high tech and I loved spending time there. I didnt have a lot of time before my departure but it wasn't a rush hour, so I was able to make the most of the time. Staff was nice and the everything was seamless and self serve. They were available for any help with the console but I didn't need any."
"My oldest had just finished a theater production, and one of the mom's decided to have a cast party get together here. I'm glad she decided to have it here so that we could check out this arcade for the first time. The price for all you can play is extremely reasonable, and they seem to have decent rates for the snack bar. They have a party room that you can reserve as well, though I'm not sure how you go about getting that set up in advance. I liked how the games ended up being laid out. Spread out just enough and wasn't getting to hot to enjoy the experience with as many machines as they have going. I sent some pictures to some of my friends and they were surprised at some of the games they have here because they hadn't seen them in an in person setting in a number of years. Plus they have some cool decoration items ... Like a gremlin holding the candy bowl behind the table and some of the celebrity/character card board cut outs. Before we even left I had already made plans to come back when some of my friends are back in town. Until next time Electric Starship!!"

EVO has a lot going on inside such as a arcade area, a restauraunt area and movie theater. They have a couple of areas for parking. My friend and I came here to watch the IF movie. I ordered tickets online and was unable to print my tickets at the kiosk. I asked a staff member about checking in and he informed us we could just walk in. The seats were comfortable and spacious. The movie was heartfelt and sweet, we enjoyed it. The prices for food and tickets were expensive. However I would return to check out another movie.

I brought my fiancée here for Valentine's Day. I didn't make an appointment so I could let her choose the game. Thankfully I did that bc I received a 20% discount! We chose Squid Games and had an absolute blast! The games were doable but presented a challenge as well. We also got to order refreshments during the game along with receiving a mini video afterwards. I 100% reccomend this place for people of all ages!

Wanted to take my two toddlers to a new play area and was very happy to learn of this new place. Their calendar online shows 1/2 off admission on certain days for certain things. Thursdays are "wear a super hero or princess shirt" day. Easily accomplished!!Upon entering the facility you must get your hand stamped with your children as a safety precaution, which I appreciate. So when you leave, your numbers match up, hopefully...ha!There is an arcade area upstairs and some arcade games downstairs as well. There was also a parent quiet area upstairs where you can see everything but are in a more peaceful zone.My kiddos loved the play area and the arcades. I was worried the gym/play area would be too intimidating for my 2 year old but he had a blast and conquered the whole area! The only part I didn't care for was the toddler area was dirty, some kiddo took a bag of potato chips in there and went to town. The mess was still there after 3 hours, also none of the tables on the floor were clean either. My 1 year old's foot kept falling through the weave in the play area, should be smaller floor weaving in the toddler area in my opinion. Either way, for $5, it was a great, cheap way to spend an afternoon

Even though they didn't have TRON or BurgerTime, this was such a great bar. The bartenders were freakin beautiful. There was girl with white blond hair that was shaved on the side and there was another skinny girl with tanned skin. All we got were drinks that all were named after games and things that happened in games. While we were playing N64, another real hot skinny girl in a croptop, told us that we're playing Mexican Bingo and we said "yes ma'am.We almost got stuck in Dallas though because our flight kept getting delayed, then TSA left!

This is a fun arcade right by my new apartment! The staff is super nice and they have beer and a ton of games. Good ambiance. A dj once a month. All in all not bad. Cheap price too!

We came for their $10 all-day play in their arcade - we did not try the food. Parking was easy to find right up front, and we were greeted and given wristbands. Strangely enough, the wristbands said Sunday when we were playing on a Monday. My husband was already pretty familiar with most of the arcade games, but my favorites were Astroid and Crazy Taxi. There are lots of collaboration games, probably more than single-player games, which is great. Yes, the games are pretty grimy and germy, but we washed our hands before we left. Bathroom was super nice. They also have some regular consoles, like PlayStation 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox, etc. On the PS5 we played Fall Guys, which was silly and fun. I also enjoyed their rhythm arcade game, but it was all in Japanese, no English. I would definitely come back in the middle of the day while the kiddos are still in school. We played for about 2 hours, 3-5 pm, and before we left some loud kids came in to play Xbox; the parents didn't care how wreckless they were, throwing around controllers, and the staff did nothing either. Overall, we had fun when we were alone. Their website says they have up to 100 different games, arcade and console, but some were buggy or the controls were non-responsive.

Cute, inexpensive, place that is a great inside solution to play during inclement or hot weather. I would say one side is definitely better for the littles while the other (arcade side) is more targeted toward the older kids. While I'm sure there is a valid reason, as a parent, I was not a fan of the exit doors placement...especially on both sides. It definitely made me a little concerned.

Greatest experience in FTW! You will thoroughly enjoy your time spent here. The games are plenty. If you love pinball like me, this is your place. It was like going back in time to the arcade of my youth.

"Had a blast bowling on a Monday evening. Our server was very polite and made sure we had what we needed. My kid enjoyed the games and prizes. Will be back to bowl!"
"Came here for a birthday and definitely enjoyed our time there.Atmosphere - 4/5 - It is great for younger kids as it is smaller, so easier to keep an eye on them. Although the space is limited, there are plenty of games for the kids to play on.If you are hosting a birthday party here, please note that there are only 2 tables (kind of long), so it will not seat a large kid party. I suggest calling to get the actual number it can accommodate. Staff - 4/5 - Didn't really engage with them much, but they do seem friendly.Food - N/A - It was a birthday party, so it was catered from elsewhere. As mentioned above, they do have plenty of games for the kids. There was actually a race car arcade where if you kept winning, you were able to keep playing. I do not know any other place that has a game like that, so that was fun.Overall, my 3 year old had a great time here, and I can see ourselves coming back in the future."
"I bought a pinball machince and got a very good price.2 weeks after I bought the machince a metal piece broke off the playfield. I also had a couple small quirks, but those were all understandable considering the machine is 20 years old.I called and then brought it back. They completly fixed something I would have had to pay LOTS to get fixed, and they fixed it for FREE.It had been more than 2 weeks before I brought it back and I love the machine and I've almost never gotten such great service! Now I'm gonna get off yelp, and go play my game.BTW it's Last Action Hero Pinball game."
"It's Whirlyball. A great sport. This little treasure has 2 courts and friendly owners committed to the sport. Make sure you bring nine friends. It's a great time. Good competition for the novice and the experienced. Great for birthday parties or any other kind of event."
"I came here for a company party. The games and drinks were fun. The food was mediocre. The staff was polite albeit understaffed.Overall I enjoyed it, but they need to have more people on hand, the bar line was too long."
"Every day is Halloween here in this day-glo infused world of Monster Mini Golf. Creepy ghouls greet you at every turn, Frankenstein springs to life when you least expect it, and an undead organ player will serenade you with a haunting tune before you head to the final hole where you whack your ball into the gaping mouth of a giant evil clown. In spite of the spooky theme, this place shouldn't frighten the little ones, especially if they're old enough to play golf.Golf games can be played with or without keeping score, but it obviously goes faster if you don't. The only thing that detracts from the fun is that it can sometimes get too crowded. Groups of players are sent in back to back which causes everyone to get stacked up so closely that you may have to wait before proceeding to the next hole the entire time (and feel the pressure of others waiting for you).In addition to mini golf there is a laser maze, mini bowling and arcade games along with a prize counter to cash in your tickets for some tchotchkes (that you've paid handsomely for!).All told, it's an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon (they don't open til noon) or evening for kids of all ages."
"This is the future of arcades... amazing atmosphere with incredible selection of VR games. It's more fun when linking and playing with others at the same venue then at home. My favorite game was job simulator-- funny and great fun. My wife wants to come back soon and check out the haunted house game, we can't wait to come back!"
"Took family for son's birthday and played Outbreak which was great! Will be going back to try out the Singularity game."
"Very cool place, lots of games, was not very busy.Fairly priced, decent drinks, haven't tried food, but pizza looked bomb.Very Friendly staff. Will definitely come back."
"I didI've been going her for forever and have even brought major nonprofit events to the venue. From my understanding it is dog friendly but tonight my poor rescue was verbally attacked and approached in a threatening manner for simply being a scared puppy. They cussed at her and threw things at me for combating the situation. Disgusting. Yet it was allowed. I did talk to Chris about it later and he was wonderful as always and supportive. The Beardon's are genuinely some of the best people, and he was supportive as always when he heard about the situation. I will always patron and support their establishments."
"A seriously fun fun fun time! This is a gaming experience I suggest for all! Family friends, date night, or just to try something different... it is so worth it!This is a totally immersive experience. You are put in a room and told to wear this funny visor hat to play. The room is your game screen and your body is the controller. 3 walls of the room, from floor to ceiling, are the screens. You move forward, back, left and right to manipulate your avatar, and at times you touch the walls to activate things. Seriously this is not only fun it is a work out. My son and I were jumping sliding back and forth and twisting to make things click. Is was a full of riot! I don't think I have had this much fun in a game ever! I first tried it with my oldest, then I went back with both my boys. There are 4 hats in a room so I think up to 4 can play at a time. The rooms are good sized but I could see how more then 4 could have you stumbling over each other. They do offer some drink and snack options as you are playing. Just tap the menu and you can order stuff that they bring to you. The first time my oldest and I needed drinks we were sweating so much! The cost is reasonable and each selection takes an hour of time. They have puzzle like games, even a version of squid games, and now a ghost busters game I want to try... that will challenge not only your body, but your mind as well. We have been back several times now... and have had a ton of fun each time! I highly suggest trying this out... you will be so very glad you did!"
"Another amazing experience at Cidercade this week. For the last few years, we have held our office holiday party here and the staff has been awesome with their service. The process to secure the space and pay is very simple. See their website for those details. Renting the entire back party room was perfect for our 2 hour event with about 40 people and allowing us to bring in our own catered food worked like a charm. The recent remodel on the inside looks awesome with more table seating in the back room and better organization of the games! Everyone had a wonderful time and we will be back again next holiday season. Make sure to stop by and give them a try. Enjoy!"
"We highly recommend GOAT Gaming! I booked them for my son's 12th birthday and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Booking on the website was pretty simple however the instructions said to call before booking if you live beyond a certain distance. I called Byron and he was very appreciative of the call. He told me he'd be more than happy to accommodate us and we booked immediately. The day before we called to confirm and he showed up right on time for our party. The truck had all the gaming systems, was clean, and temperature controlled. The kids had a great time and I loved how Byron himself was involved with the kids. My son can't stop talking about how much fun he had. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great gaming experience."
"This place is AMAZING, perfect date night or night out with friends!! The atmosphere is perfect for gaming, it's dark, cool, and best part there's an upstairs and downstairs!! It has several of my favs, Guitar Hero 3, Galaga, PacMan, DigDug, Ski Ball, Pinball.. etc. Place is pretty open, has restrooms upstairs and downstairs, very convenient. Pricing is resonable, $12 for adults all day. There is a monthly pass you can get which I've been thinking about getting, just waiting to switch from working nights to days. I've only been twice, so I'm sure I can write a more extensive review once I've been several times. But I am sold, this place is a great place to spend time with some friends."
"My nieces and nephews just love the go carts their favorite part of celebration station..... my kiddos enjoyed the water boats and the mini train... the arcade games were great as well. The restroom was clean...The food prices were a lil steep but it was ok there are plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. The staff was laid back but very attentive. We didn't get a chance to play mini golf or anything else because all they wanted to do was drive the go carts!!! Maybe next time we can do a lot more.."
"Fun place but it isn't cheap!! I took 6 kids for total at $120! Without an adult add-on. (2 hours for the oldest cost $72 and 2 hours for the younger ones cost $48) The couple of employees we encountered were polite. I would Never do 2 hours again. A lot of stuff is being worked on so 1 hour would be more than enough to get it all done. It looks like they are still trying to get up and running. Vending machines were empty and other stations were still being worked on or weren't open. Mine mostly enjoyed the mega (sort of) tumble track. I would say 5 year olds and up is really ideal. It is a large and open space but makes running off easy for your little people. The AC was nice and cold so it's a good place to escape the heat! IMO the price is high for what is currently being offered but maybe when it's completed it would be fair. I'll hope for a coupons or look for a Groupon next time."
"My husband and I have been golfing our way thru a number of states. We were happy we chose Jurassic Zone for our last nite in Texas. The greens were extremely well maintained and in good order. There were many challenging holes. They rated most holes par 2 or 3. Good luck. Quite a few of the what we call "ant hills". You know, if you don't get a hole in one and you're off to the side, tricky getting that little ball up that hill at close range. There were lots of kids inside with the amusement games, so great place for the fam. I wouldn't have a little tyke play this course. Gave it a 4 because no senior or military discount. Come on guys? But we had a great time and he beat me by 1 stroke!"
"We had a meeting nearby and had been wanting to see what Freeplay is like, so we popped into this one. We thought, oh let's just get a drink and take a peek at what's going on. Well you can't just get a drink, it's $12 (after tax) per person to get in at all. But y'all, it's so worth the price. All of the games are ready to play--no tickets, coins or scanners involved. It really is so fun and freeing to be able to walk up to any game and just immediately play knowing you have endless turns ahead of you! The skee balls just keep rolling out forever, haha. There's so many games here. Lots of retro video arcade games, which I'm not very familiar with outside of the few that were at my local Cici's Pizza growing up. Mortal Kombat, Pac-Man, a football game, I think? I feel like I spent significant time in there, I'm surprised I don't remember better. Going to Freeplay takes you back, definitely, but there are newer games too. So many pinball machines, lots of race-cars. Basketball tossing. Those dance games where you stomp on squares. Vintage pong. Pac-Man of course. Guitar Hero. Some kind of DJ game, haha. Something called "Granny and the Gators" where it appears you play as an elderly woman shooting alligators, ha! I played a few video games but mostly I like skee ball and reading menus. Speaking of menus, Freeplay has an impressive, extensive bar menu. This is what their website says about it: "we have one of the largest and best beer lists in the metroplex. named one of DFW's best bars, our award-winning bar also offers cocktails, wine, liquor, ciders, and spiked sodas. because we stock seasonal, limited-run, and exclusive beers, our drink list is subject to constant (almost daily) change." They have daily specials, too. We went on a Thursday which is 40% off all craft drafts. The food menu is great, too, and not what I expected. I thought it'd be more traditional, casual, bar food, like deep fried stuff and chicken wings (yum). But the options here are a little lighter and brighter.. for a starters you've got veggie crudités with a buttermilk dip, a fruit and cheese plate with crackers, hummus with veggies and pita, and mini street tacos with shredded green chili pork. Then there's 10 hot pressed sandwiches to choose from, served with potato chips. Lastly, there's 8 hand-crafted, personal-sized flatbread pizzas to consider. They honestly all sound so good, but if I could have one it'd be the Garlic Cheese flatbread: garlic olive oil, provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, and fresh basil. Mhmm. There's a Freeplay closer to me in Arlington that I see myself visiting soon, because what's better than a cheese plate and skee ball??"
"I went to check this place out when they were doing a free DJ event and it was a pretty cool venue. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars, which trust me I really wanted to, was because I ordered a well vodka with club soda and it was $17. They also tacked on an auto gratuity, and the bartender was awful. I bartend myself so I felt the service should've matched the tip. The DJ was fantastic, I met a few cool people, and the entire venue has a lot of energy. I would give them another shot my next time in the area."
"Great food and family friendly environment with games in the back. Prices are good too!"
"This place rise fun to take the kids and fun to go with other adults. I am an 80s kid so they have all the games we used to play back in the day. It also has pinball machines (a lot of them!) which my husband loves. Area 51 is a favorite and even tho i have the most recent Mario cart the one they have is super fun."
"I absolutely enjoyed myself at this entertainment center. I like the variety of activities that you can do so I recommend coming with a plan and expecting to spend hours here. You can play pickleball and corn hole outside, go bowling, watch movies, and just snack and lounge around. It's a bummer that everything is a separate cost, but I hoped all the activities were bundled together in one price. I'm sure they have that option, though, and if they do, that would be phenomenal. We saw dune part 2. I thought you could order food in the theater but we couldn't, which was a bummer. Overall we had a lot of fun here and the food was also really good!"
"This place is amazing! It is the arcade of arcades, with lights flashing and bells ringing, as well as all the machines making their noises. Though it is many things in addition to an arcade, the ambiance is straight arcade! You can bowl here, play pool, play ping pong, sing karaoke, bowl, and of course eat too!The service was great. I had problem with a couple machines and there was always somebody right there to help. In fact, each section had at least 1 to 2 employees there. If you enjoy arcades I recommend you check this place out!"
