The best grass-fed beef in Texas!!!They have a selection of fresh vacuum sealed beef from their farms in all different kinds of cuts. If you call a day or so ahead they'll custom cut you steaks and meats they way you want them. They also have a freezer full of frozen cuts of their beef. Then they've got a few different freezers full of pork, chicken, and lamb from other local farms that taste wonderful. Some other things they carry are eggs, usually some kind of local veggie or two, local raw cheeses, grass-fed beef jerky that is delicious(made from their beef), and some other local goodies. But If I were you I'd go on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday when they're serving up their grass-fed burgers! I'm talking about the BEST BURGER YOU"LL EVER HAVE!!!Locally made toasted brioche bun from Dallas, farm grown organic butter lettuce, farm grown organic ripe beef steak tomatoes, crisp onions, perfectly seasoned JUICY grass-fed patty that'll drip down your arm, cheese if you want it, and your choice of sauces. They've also got grilled onions and jalapeno's, for an extra .50 cents I think. No french fries though..... Just great chips and good bottled sodas (made from cane sugar) to choose from. I came about 15mins before they were closing on a Sunday and the women and the young cook greeted me with a smile and were MORE than happy to cook me up a burger while I shopped around. The burger was sooo sooo good that I was joking to the cook (but was serious in my head) I could eat another burger or two. He insisted that he cook me another one even though they were past closing time by then, saying they'll be there cleaning up while I eat my second one. He even asked me if I wanted some jalapenos and grilled onions on there for no extra charge (I wanted to try my first burger from them normal so I could get a feel for the true taste) . Talk about friendly service!Go over to Burgundy Pasture Beef and get yourself a wonderful tasting bone-in rib-eye and grab the best burger in DFW while your're there!

If you're ever on your way to Fort Worth, hungry and you have about half an hour to spare you have got to eat a burger at Burgundy Pasture Beef. I had the opportunity to take a tour of their operation and I know that they take pride in their product. It shows in their burger. Grass fed beef that's organically grown sustainably on the land the cattle feeds on. The burger is elbows up juicy with organic romaine lettuce, local tomatoes and a toasted wheat bun. This is the way a burger is supposed to taste.I only wish that they served more that burgers.....

This butcher/burger shop in the small town of Granview is worth a stop if you are driving up to Fort Worth on I-35. Not only do they offer organic grass-fed, hormone-free beef in a variety of cuts (as well as chicken and pork) but Burgundy Pasture Beef has burgers on weekends. It's a family-run operation and subscribes to the "Slow Food" movement. The burgers are very good - although I found the bread used for the whole wheat buns is a bit too tough. They deliver their products to Austin. Great place.

Don't skimp on price when you buy meat. This is organic, grass fed cattle that makes the best red meat in Texas. They also offer a variety of other things, such as raw honey and organic chicken that we also buy and it is all top notch food. Beats store bought meat any day of the week.

Their products are excellent and have a great selection. Everything is organic or beyond organic as they call it. They will ship right to your door. But really their best attribute is there customer service. Wendy there is absolutely wonderful. My sister sent me some items from them for my birthday and messed up the address so I did not get them in time. Since it was a birthday presents they replaced the items at no cost. They didn't have to do that and they won my business for it. A great company and greats meats.

No doubt a great burger, but in just two years with much ado in the press, the burgers shot up 35 percent in price. Maybe it is the drought. In any event, those Friday to Sunday burgers are worth every cent!
