This is a typical newer style Brookshire's to be sure, but it has some certain advantages over others. In my opinion, the location here is more convenient than the local Wal Mart or Family Dollar. Parking is ample, and they have a gas station, which is a definite plus if you are going to collect on those points!The price points are a bit more than Wal Mart, as would be expected, but if you coupon or deal hunt, you will emerge better off. What impressed me most is that this store stocks spirit gear from the local schools - socks, t-shirts, banners and the like. It says a lot about the level of community involvement, in the best ways.Lastly, the staff is quite friendly. Never pushy, but present. Can't beat that!

This is my favorite grocery store. It's beautiful and clean. Always well stocked. The employees are kind and helpful. The prices are competitive, especially if you follow the weekly specials. (I love the 'buy one get one for a penny'.)There are enough registers open to ensure a prompt check out. There are a few extra perks that you won't find at Walmart, like popsicles that are already frozen and gourmet cheeses in the deli as well as excellent steaks cut to your liking. Shopping here is a recreational activity.

As my beloved aunt would say "too high". Their prices aren't competitive with the nearby "Krogers". The staff is friendly and pharmacy has cool wheels system. The front entrance smelled a bit strange to me, it reminded me of Mickey D's playground.

We stopped at Brookshires Midlothian. Whitley 16 year old wanted to use her money $100 that she made by helping her aunt tear up carpet and tac strip to purchase and make dinner tonight. There is a person that works there that makes her feel very uncomfortable so she chose to send her sister (whom is very responsible) to pick up the groceries. When she pulled her phone out to call because she couldn't find an item the $100 bill fell out of her pocket without her knowing. Whitley went in to the store and Jose the manager said to her I'm sorry to laugh .... that's not a reason to laugh. This is a kid that worked very hard for her money and now it's gone. I'm feeling very frustrated.

terrible . dont work here and do not shop here they will treat you like crap if you work there and they do not care about you . if anything bad happens to you they will still make you work. DO NOT WORK HERE its not worth it nor the pay!

I must say the whole staff is super nice !! I live in Cedar hill, but love to go here for my Louisiana finds . I had to go home and tell my wife how nice and happy the staff is . Hats off to whoever manage that store .

Greg has ran this store in the ground!!! Chris had this store running so good. He was always out front greeting people. You can walk right in front of Greg,staring right eye to eye with him and not one word!!!I have shopped here for 20 years and they never have stuff any more. Propane out for 4 or more days !! Before a winter blast !!! Great job ordering!!! Just left today no bread no milk no eggs !! Keep up the great work Greg !! I want be back !! Kroger here I come!!!

We've shopped here a couple of times. It was neat, clean and everything was well displayed.The vegetables were fresh and there was a nice selection at the bakery. We got everything we came for plus a few new items to try. The prices seemed a bit higher but it was a very pleasant shopping experience compared to the crowded HEB. The discount on gas correlating to the groceries we bought amounted to about 30¢ discount per gallon...which was very nice. The employees were very friendly to add to a good experience!

I enjoy shopping at this store for several reasons. The prices are good, the sales offers are good, I can shop online, they carry all my favorite brands, and I absolutely love they have someone to carry out my groceries and put them in my car. It always feels like you are valued and appreciated. My hometown feeling. Something big box stores don't offer. I highly recommend this store.
