Took me a while to figure this product out. Why? I use clear plastic bags, so I can see what's inside.

Wine by the jug, I love it.

It has been a while since I have been to Brookshire's and I must say, they have a great selection. We stayed at the lake house for a few days, and stopped in here to pick up a few things. Great meat selection, and just an overall great experience.

So I must confess, I usually shop for groceries further north on 377. But from where I live, to buy hardware, I come from the south on 377. On this trip I needed groceries too, but did not feel like venturing so far north on 377. So I decided to see what Brookshire's has to offer. I must say, I like it. I don't know prices very well, but they seem reasonable. I will be back, especially when taking the "back route" to the hardware store.Bottom line: Once I get Thúy in here, I'll update this review regarding prices.

Like Gavin said, Brookshires is a great place to get your produce in town. Most everything is always fresh and there's lots of it. I also notice that they tend to showcase local growers -- so cool to pick out a veggie that was grown in the same county!Sometimes however they're missing key things -- like herbs. I can't tell you how many times I go in there looking for dill and they NEVER have it fresh! Grrr....I guess not many Granburians use it.Their deli section is always clean and well-stocked, but the deli folks are your typical small town peeps -- they don't get in a hurry. Just be patient and they'll get you your sliced cheese and potato salad with a smile.Another thing that surprises me is the vast bread selection. There is always lots to choose from and prices are decent. They do offer one thing that doesn't even compare to big city grocery stores: walk out service. Seriously, who still hires high school kids to walk your groceries out after bagging them? Brookshires does, that's who.

Great small-town grocery store where they understand how important it is to us to have our groceries carried out to the car. The selection is usually really great and we've been able to find most things we're looking for at a reasonable price. Don't expect them to be open 24 hours but service with a smile more than makes up for it.

Up until about a year ago, I loved this place...there was an older man as mgr and then Ryan...you couldn't ask for nicer people...now the weird pineapple lady will scream at you and the other weird older woman will tell me I have too many things for self checkout...if that one is on a register she will rip you by ringing up things several times...Ive caught her multi times, then the other one gets mad if you wanna use your rewards card...and before the guys would grab a gallon of milk before they let you carry your own stuff out...now, they're just like WallyRipffWorld and Kroger...I DEFY you to find someone to help you out...$300 worth of heavy items...75 years old...too bad. So sad. you are on your own at allllll these places...

This place use to be my favorite...USED TO BE!!!customer service is crap.they followed suit like everywhere else.if Incompetency was a store this is it.it's not hard to figure out that the majority of your customers are older.we don't like self checkout!!!! Why only have two registers open!?!?! And I'm not talking self check out!!! Do away with that crap.need workers to take care of the registers then stop pushing our carts out!!!use them on the register instead.you have to have several ppl standing around waiting to push carts back in.why not just send one person out every thirty minutes to round carts up.would definitely be more efficient then the joke y'all have going on now!!! Been in hood county my whole life I remember when this store was Winn Dixie! It worked great back then and could be better again with better management.be different for a change self check outs are everywhere be the one that's actually like a home town grocery store and have a living person at every register then sit back and watch how many more ppl will start coming to your store and some of us back to your store.today I came in and was getting five things with only two registers open the lines were backed up to the frozen foods.so I go over to the self check out which I normally refuse.scanned all my items then realized it was card only and I left my card at home.irritated a lady walks over prints a ticket and tells me I have to take it to a register with a person.what a joke stuck in the line after all.if it were a real person on another register in the first place it never would have happened!!!!

Started shopping here after finding out HEB/KGB and Kroger were supporting the cancel culture bull crap. Very pleased to have this outcome. It is a clean store and the employees have always been very helpful. The options are not as plentiful but that is something I can live with knowing I'm not supporting large companies that do not believe in the free speech America allows!!

Willie at the brookshires gas stationed in Granbury looked me straight in the eyes then went to another customer on the opposite side of the pump to have a 10 minute conversation with this man and after waiting I finally said sir can I have $10 on pump one he left me sitting there for another six minutes then came back saying that man can't open his door so he hast to pump his gas well if he hast to do that I don't understand why he can't take care of his customers in line 1st. Poor customer service don't know if I'll come back again.

This is the worst grocery store that I've ever been to. It's like you've just stepped into a grocery store from the 80's. They have nothing organic and their prices are higher than any other grocery stores. Today I wanted to buy seafood. The guy tried to sell me some frozen shrimp instead because the shrimp they had on display was old because the people that worked yesterday didn't throw it away like they were supposed to. They never have anything that I'm looking for. Today I went in for three things and came out with nothing. Unfortunately this is the closest store to my house which is the only reason I have kept going there but this is the last time. From now on I'll pre-plan my meals and shop at HEB or Kroger.

We shopped at Brookshires exclusively at one time...UNTIL they "remodeled." After that their prices were high enough that the extra miles and time to drive to Kroger was worth it. EVERYTHING at Brookshires went up in price, even with the "Reward card" (or whatever they call it). Very disappointing. Now we use the store (seldomly) as convenience-style (pop in to get one or two essential items).
