Bluebonnet City Grill

We had the chicken fried chicken and the liver and onions and both were outstanding. The coconut pie was also good. We were between lunch and dinner hour and the service and waitress were attentive and nice, as were all the employees. Small country dinner look, and everything was clean.

We had the best and sweetest server, I think her name was Sami. Our food was hot and ready fast. My one of the pork chops on my husbands' plate was a little undercooked but other than that it was all very delicious.

Just really good home cooking with a broad menu and our waitress was super sweet and funny. Dinner is portions and they might even have some food better than what your mama cooks!

Friendly server, great food and service. The chef came out to check on the meal. We'll be back.

Cute lil diner tucked in downtown Ennis. Friendly staff and lots of seating. Waitress was super kind and working hard. Food was good but could have been better. Grill cheese was cold on the inside and warm on the outside. Soup was loaded and good The seasoning on the chicken fried chicken and chicken strips wasn't our fav. But we would love to try breakfast next

Went here for lunch, wife had Salisbury steak, I had Chicken fried steak and daughter had lever with onions. I recommend the Salisbury steak.

Great food, great service, great portion size. I am from Chicago. Specifically a polish area on the south side. This food brought me back. Highly recommend the potato pancakes. Haven't had those in over a decade and they hit home. Fish plate was good and the Ruben was also killer. We will be back!

Food was good, husband had the 3 little pigs sandwich with fries and, I had the chicken salad with sweet potato fries. We both had coconut cream pie for dessert. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The building was decorated cute and had homemade wreaths for sale.

First time eating here and will be the last time. I ordered the seasoned fried fish, onion rings, and salad. The fish was nice and golden brown but didn't have one taste of seasoning or salt. The onion rings were super big with a cajun batter I didn't like that either (let people know it's a cajun batter) The salad was mid-crunchy, not fresh.i gave a two for the presentation only it look good but didn't taste good

Wait staff super friendly!! Young kids waiting tables but very kind and respectful. Food was hot, fast and tasty!Nice little place to drive in from WAXAHACHIE and get away from the hustle and bustle crowded city.
