Blue Ocean

Blue Ocean has become our go-to Sushi. We traditionally had gone to another "blue" sushi place, but this one is now where we go. The service is fast and great. Today we had sushi and some rolls. The tuna, yellow tail, and salmon were very good. The texture was smooth and fresh. The Mt Fuji roll is our favorite roll. Anyone we take here loves it.

The good here was so good. Mind you we went with a party of 16 so the server was busy but he did his best to keep up and called for help when he needed it. He made sure to tell us their drinks were strong. While I didn't have one, those that did said that was 100% true. Definitely a place to go back to for both food and drinks.

Got the dragon roll that was quite good and the sushi pieces were decent quality too. The scallop and tamago were good. The snapper was decent.

Adore the couple that owns this business! They are always so friendly. Food is superb and if you like cocktails they hook ya up!

The sushi rolls here are quite good! The sushi is also high quality. This place is a little expensive for lunch but definitely a great dinner spot.

I have been visiting this place for over a decade. It NEVER disappoints. Kim has been there for 20 years and is on her A game every day, lunch or dinner. The food is fresh, the portions large, the ambiance comfy but still fancy. Hands down my favorite sushi spot!

I have lived two minutes from Blue Ocean for 8 years. Last Thursday I finallyyyyy made it in. The restaurant was packed and busy for a Thursday night. From families to business colleagues the restaurant had it all. The ambiance is beautiful with a sushi bar, fish tank and dark colored tones. Our waiter was very helpful. We ordered the crunchy rolls, lone star rolls, spring rolls and chicken teriyaki. I loved the whale shaped rice and the flavor of the chicken teriyaki was great! My husband said the sushi was some of the best he has ever had. I wasn't a huge fan of the spring rolls but the peanut sauce that came with it was great. Perfect location to celebrate any occasion or to just enjoy someone's company.

Worst costumer service ever! The waitress was so rude. I don't know what was going on with her, but she raised her voice when she took our order. I asked her a simple question about how spicy was the dish that I was going to order and didn't have any patience to explain to me or recommended me another dish to order. Besides that, she never checked on us if we needed something else, didn't refill our glasses with water and never said "you are welcome" when I said thank you to her. A pretty moody rude waitress.

the ambiance and decor is very fancy and cool. the food is okay. i got a spicy tuna roll and the yellowtail. it was fine, nothing really to write home about. the rice is quite good, but the yellowtail was a little fishy tasting.

I ordered the Hawaiian Roll from here and it was disgusting. I only ate two pieces from the roll and they never asked to switch my roll for something else and instead still made me pay. I had to wait 15 minutes just to get a martini. I'm very displeased with the service and quality of the sushi.
