Hidden Gem Just Off the InterstateIf you ever find yourself near Beneventi's Italian Restaurant, do yourself a favor and stop in. My husband and I stumbled upon this place while traveling, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the history in the air. Antique items are displayed throughout, and as you enjoy authentic Italian recipes passed down for generations, you're surrounded by photos of those very generations who built this restaurant's legacy. It's a place that feels both warm and welcoming, like stepping into someone's home.I ordered the Trio, which included lasagna that was absolutely phenomenal--rich, flavorful, and clearly made using the family's secret recipe. My husband went for a pizza, made in-house with the freshest ingredients. Everything came out piping hot, and the flavors were out of this world. The service was excellent, and the manager was kind enough to give us a tour of the property. We were blown away by how beautiful it is, especially the outdoor stage--this would be an amazing wedding venue! And whatever you do, don't leave without trying their bread pudding. Trust me. I took some to-go and didn't regret it!P.S. Jan, when I said I'd wait until I got home, I lied. I ate it in the car.

Cute place and great service. I added a pic of their menu as I was looking through reviews and noticed they don't have some of that stuff anymore. had the trio since I couldn't decide what u wanted! The lasagna was really really good! The spaghetti was great as well although I had to add a little salt to It but was great and the meatball was really good. The salad was yummy as well. We had the gnocchi appetizer which wasn't great would pick something else next time . The bread pudding was delicious! Overall would definitely be back

Quaint little restaurant with a lot of history.. the service was quick and the food was delicious. My wife and I shared an order of Gnocchi Tots. To be honest they were too starchy but the pink sauce that was served with them was great. I had the Murphy pasta which was the house special, very delicious. We also shared a bread pudding which also delicious. This restaurant does have an outside seating area.

If I could give a 10 out of 5 stars I would. When you walk in the ambiance is just awesome. We were greeted with warm welcome and then the food. Best flavor I have had at a restaurant within 2 hours. We will be back.

I took my great grandmother here for her 90th birthday and gave this place a shot. The decore was very nice and relaxing kinda like being in a fancy home. Not many people were there so it was nice to pick where we sat and the waitress was very kind and attentive. The bread she brought out tasted really nice and looked good as well. We ordered chicken Alfredo and Chicken Parmigiana. The chicken Alfredo tasted good and chicken tasted the same as the chicken in the parmigiana. The parmigiana was great nice spegetti with tasty chicken. For a small town Italian place it was really good. This is a nice little stop if you are passing through. They had some other amazing options on the menu so I'll be back to try those.

Food was absolutely fantastic and true to authentic Italian cuisine. The building was over 100 years old and very cool and eclectic. Great service and really friendly people.

Burnt ends pork belly appetizer is a must.Shrimp Alfredo linguini is world class.Fresh salads, home grown herbs from their onsite garden, old fashioned oven pizza, gnocchi. My wife is Italian and she's an expert; she says this is a world class first place Italian restaurant and I agree.Have a quiet dinner with good wine in a charming 1905 historic building. This isn't the Mingus you once knew.

You would never know it was there, unless you were searching for an Italian restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Our son told us about it , so we took the excursion off of I 20 and enjoyed a fantastic dinner. I would highly recommend it. It's a very quaint restaurant with an old Texas fell. Plus the food is very reasonably priced and tasty. It's a BYOB so feel free to bring your own wine they have the glasses and opener.
