My husband and I have a very long lasting and sweet memory of a time we spent at an Italian restaurant in Cleveland. We continue to search for a similar experience. Bella Italia West comes the closest.The place feels old school homey, with brick walls and wood tables and chairs. Acoustics are on spot - no loud music and the night we dined- no loud patrons. Service is professional, knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. We experienced our meal in a way that allowed us to linger and chat. The food is delicious. We had the Elk with mushrooms and pasta carbonara with a light cream sauce. We ended our meal with a moist, not overly sweet tres leches cake. Grateful we dined here!

Bella Italia West is a local favorite as I've heard several friends from the Fort Worth area rave about it. The ambiance is obviously Italian inspired with a very cozy feeling. Dress a little nicer and come out to enjoy some homemade Italian food and listen to the sounds of whoever is strumming their guitar. The food is delicious from the pasta my husband had to the elk tenderloin I devoured. They have a unique menu with a mix Italian dishes and a nice selection of wild game to choose from. The service is great and they have a nice wine list too with bottles to fit anyone's taste and their house Chianti I had by the glass was delicious. Save room for dessert!

Went to eat and was met at the door as if it was a guarded place. Couldn't come in because we had to have reservations and then proceeded to say it's also a dress code. I've always said it not what you say its how you say it and that's the case here. We went to campisis and glad we did. I wouldn't go there because of the way we were treated at the door. Kindness goes a long way.

this is absolutely awful.We were seated at a table with bread, butter, knives, forks, already used. Yet the waitress said it was ok. I showed her the bite mark out of the bread, the butter on the napkins and knives, she rudely grabbed everything off the table and never came back. We had to get another waitress, which was just as rude. We left.

First visit to this place and definitely the last. If you're going to be a fine dining restaurant, you'd better be serving five star entrees. Ours were only average. We started with the antipasto, which was the best dish we had. Entrees were the shrimp scampi and chicken cacciatore. The chicken dish lacked the depth of flavor one expects of a good cacciatore. The scampi also lacked in depth of flavor and the pasta was overcooked, plus there were only six medium sized shrimp. Decor and ambiance scream romantic dinner, but the food failed to shine. Luis' was very good as our server, earning a nice tip.

The best Italian in town. Started with the soft shell crab and it is melt in your mouth amazing. We love the pasta and the buffalo ribeye is the best we've had. The staff and service are terrific and make every visit perfect!
